Beth is a very sweet and loving dog with high energy. She sits and follows commands well for treats. She is about 5 years old and I am looking to re-home her due to my 70 year old mother falling ill. I have 2 dogs of my own and my male does not get along with any dogs taller than him.

Story
Hi, my name is Arrow. I am 5 years old. I love playing fetch. I love people, especially kids. I am slightly food aggressive. I am very aggressive if I have a bone. I would do best as the only pet but would probably be ok with a cat or female dog. I am not ok having another male dog in the house. I am very loving and playful. I am house broken. I am neutered. I am (not) up to date on shots. My current owner would be willing to pay for required vaccines.

Story
We rescued Butch from the humane society a month ago. He is a well behaved dog, loose lease walking with minimal pulling (he is a hound and wants to get the squirrels, rabbits, and other wildlife). He's fully housebroken, but if left alone for hours will go by the door is necessary as any dog will. However, we cannot break the resource guarding. Butch does not like hands and it's obvious he has witnessed a woman being abused or been beaten himself by a man. He would be best in a single person home. He likes other dogs, except the alpha male type. He loves to play and only barks when there may be a stranger near our yard. He's very attentive to his surroundings. He needs to be walked and played with daily and have his senses used. He will be a great hunter for someone. He truly is a good dog, he just needs a single person owner.

Story
Midnight is VERY sweet! She loves to cuddle and play. We are fostering her while she looks for her permanent family. (Due to a change of living situation, her previous owner was sadly forced to give her up.) She gets along very well with our other dog and cat, and she is very good with my young grandchildren who visit often. She will make a great addition to any loving family! Midnight just turned a year old. She is fully house trained, and does not chew on things. She is super friendly and sure to make someone a very good pet.

Story
Kinoko means mushroom. She was a stray in St. Louis County rescued by CARE STL. They estimate she was 3 at that time. She's approximately 6 now. She was on a Gabapentin prescription when we first got her to ease the transition. She has been hostile to house guests and needs to be put away when strangers are around. She has mixed results with other dogs so she doesn't go to the dog park. She has lived with a male Maltipoo for 2 years and was hostile at first, but within 24 hours accepted whatever horseplay he tries to do. She is not a bothersome dog. She is content to sit all day in her selected spot. Attempts to move this spot have failed. She barks rarely, when she smells or sees danger. She's been known to cower in the presence of dumptrucks and their associated dumpsters. She needs at least 2 walks a day and even if she refuses to move, is the best way to bond with her. She needs a resilient love and every chance to pet her should be taken even if she sorta turns away.
