This is our Kane boy! He is a 7 year old border collie mix who we have had since he was 6 weeks old! He is fully off leash trained, is fully potty trained, is not destructive, has lived with other dogs and cats, loves car rides, and absolutely loves playing fetch! He has been well loved for all his days, but when starting to have kids, he did not like the kids. He does not like any kids but his growling has now turned to a bite. It was a singular incident, it did not break skin, but it was unprovoked. He has been kept separated since the incident and his quality of life has severely went down. He is such a great dog and we want to see him go to a good home, just not a house where children live! He is not an overly friendly dog, but he is also not aggressive. When you are his friend, you are a friend for life. We are so sad to see our boy go, so please only serious inquiries!

This is my last ditch effort to rehome Forest. Hes scared of children and tends to growl and raise hair. This is why he is overlooked. I have a new step-child and wife is 8 months pregnant.The shelter that I got him from 9 years ago has a no questions asked "return" last resort.. their recommendation was for me to euthanize him due to past aggression.So this is my second time posting him on here, after he had no applications the first time, so I'm trying again and being brutally honest. If I can't rehome him on this site our options are exhausted.Forest has been an amazing companion to me for years, as a single person with no kids, he loves to do whatever you're doing. Walks, exploring, just sitting around the house.There is someone out there that is perfect for him. He just can't be around young children. Please if anyone knows anyone please shareUpdate* we had our baby, but Forest has to be in a separate room most of the day. He is miserable but I can not and will not euthanize him

Ben is an outstanding dog. All he wants to do is play and be loved. Such a gentle soul. Someone dumped him at a truck stop so when I found him, he just walked right up. little puppy very skinny and fragile. I picked him up gave him a bath and feed him. He had been my buddy ever since. It seems he was being abused cause he would jump at every little noise and get low to the floor. I was only suppose to keep him a couple days but the people that said they would take him didn’t so I started taking care of him. Work a busy schedule so had to start putting him in daycare. SO affectionate. Always wants to cuddle, touch or give kisses. He needs more space he can run and some one that can give him more attention then I can. He deserves it. He really is an amazing and GOOD LOOKING, healthy boy. This is the hard part for me. I deal with chronic anxiety so he is a little detector when I’m having a panic attack. He comes and lays on me or pushes his body against my back to calm me, on his own

This beautiful three year old Cane Corso weighs approximately 100 pounds and is everything many people love about the breed. Loyal, affectionate, and devoted to her people.She enjoys attention, loves being with her family, and doesn't take long to warm up to new people. She does not mind getting her nails clipped or a bath which speaks to her temperament. She was also favorite at her previous shelter which says a lot about what a beautiful soul she isAlthough we have not observed these behaviors yet in our care, Sequoia's previous owners reported some resource guarding behaviors in the home. They reported that she had displayed resource guarding in the home involving the unaltered male Cane Corso she lived with and a young child.Because of her size, breed traits, and reported history, we are looking for an adult only home with no other pets that understands large guardian breeds and is committed to providing structure, supervision, and appropriate management. Ralph may be a senior guy estimated to be 10-12 years old (don’t tell him that), but he still struts through the yard like he owns the place! This sweet Velcro pup is 40-50 pounds, loves being outside, soaking up head scratches, riding in the car, and stopping for an ice cream date with his favorite humans. His orthopedic bed is one of his prized possessions, right up there with spending time beside his people.Ralph does have some age related quirks. His hearing and eyesight aren’t what they used to be. He has to wear belly bands due to accidents and he may occasionally lose his balance, but he still enjoys life to the fullest. Since he only has a few teeth left, he’ll need soft food and treats (which honestly just means extra spoiled). His mouth will also need a recheck in about a year.Around other animals, Ralph is dog and cat friendly! Ralph can get a little grumbly over food and treats, but he has never acted on it.
