Story
This 10-year-old, 10-pound Shipoo may have limited vision and hearing, but he makes up for it with endless love and sweetness. He’s a gentle soul who just wants to be near his person and feel safe. Because he can’t see or hear well, walks on a leash aren’t really his thing — he prefers to just stand close or explore at his own pace. He would do best with someone who is home most of the time. Leo becomes anxious if he can’t find you and may bark until you return, so he wouldn’t do well in an apartment or with long periods alone. He recently had a dental cleaning and full bloodwork, which looked great, and he’s all ready for his forever home. If you’re looking for a devoted little companion to share your days with, Leo will repay you with unconditional love and loyalty. All he needs is a safe space, a kind heart, and someone to remind him he’s finally home Adoption is $150 which includes his dental, neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.All animals are up to date on age appropriate shots, microchipped and fixed. Story
This handsome 5-year-old Australian Shepherd is the total package — smart, loyal, and full of love! Max knows his basic commands like sit, down, stay, and come, though he may forget his manners when he’s extra excited. He’s fully housebroken and has never had an accident indoors. He’s a good boy who loves his toys and bones, enjoys chewing appropriately, and even appreciates some quiet time in his crate — though he’d much rather be right by your side. Max is happiest when he’s with his person, whether he’s fetching a ball, soaking up belly rubs, or resting his head in your lap. He walks nicely on a leash but can get a bit reactive or pull when he sees other dogs — just the enthusiastic Aussie energy shining through. He has played well with other dogs, but slow, calm introductions are best. Like many herding breeds, Max takes his job seriously. He’ll alert you when a delivery arrives, stays aware of everything happening in the home, and loves following you from room to room. Because he may try to herd small children or animals, he’ll thrive in a home familiar with typical Aussie behaviors and ready to help him channel that energy positively.   Adoption is $350 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.All animals are up to date on age appropriate shots, microchipped and fixed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.contact caregiver-Francine (text) 310-597-8702Luke is a gentle and loving German Shepherd with a more relaxed personality. At three years old, he enjoys companionship and is happiest when spending time with his people. While he still has a playful side, he tends to be calmer and loves belly rubs, lounging by your side, and being part of the family. Luke has undergone basic obedience training and knows commands such as sit, stay, and come. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. His eager-to-please nature makes him a quick learner, and he enjoys positive reinforcement during training. Luke gets along well with other dogs, enjoys the company of children who love spending time with a sweet and affectionate dog, and has the potential to live with cats if properly introduced. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready for a loving home where he can bond closely with his new family and enjoy a stable environment.  **Luke is not a Rose's Rescue dog we are posting this in order to help his caregiver find him a loving permanent home. He was rescued during the housing crisis in California when his previous owners were unable to keep him. He has received training and medical care during his time in his foster home. There will be an adoption fee of $250. Luke is located in the Santa Monica, CA 90401 area but transport is available anywhere in the US. Please contact Francine (text) 310-597-8702 for more information on this loving boy.        Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 22, 2025, 4:43 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, Fendi here, and I am a friendly, active happy 4 year old male. I am fully vetted and have just recovered from heartworm tx, light case thankfully.I like to keep busy with squeaky toys and find great joy in tearing them apart! I'm also a bone lover , both these items keep me occupied. , I'm a busy fella. I also do all my potty business outside and will let you know when. I don't need a crate. Foster mom has left me alone for  3 hours a few times when out doing errands and I've been a good boy. I am not demanding and in your face, not a cuddle bug. I like being with my person by their side and just like to lay beside you. The foot of your bed is my prefence for sleeping. I have 2 dogs with me here, a chiweenie, male, and a boxer mix female. We get along just fine. Proper introductions to strangers a must. Last but not least Fendi has no shame with food left out on kitchen table or any where else. Small breed, terrier experience is desired. No small children , cats not reccomended, no large male dogs. NO LARGE MALE DOGS IN THE HOME PLEASE! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.PIXIE HAS A BEST FRIEND NAMED KEVIN BACON. KEVIN BACON IS A CAT.  PIXIE AND KEVIN GREW UP TOGETHER AND LOVE EACH OTHER. MAYBE CONSIDER ADOPTING TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE.   May be adopted together or separate Meet Miss Pixie! She is about 4 1/2 years old and has come into our care through very sad circumstances. Her mom had dementia that was progressing quickly and she was no longer able to care for herself or Pixie or her cat brother , Kevin Bacon II.    Pixie is an even-tempered, friendly but aloof medium-sized dog. She came into her foster home a week ago, and we are still getting acquainted. When Pixie first meets a stranger in an unfamiliar place, she is very scared. She may sniff you, but she will not want to be petted or to accept treats. Once she spends a little time with you, she opens up a bit and will happily accept treats.    Pixie's favorite thing in the whole world is to play fetch with her Kong ball. She could play for hours! She has wonderful ball manners and will bring the ball right back to you every time. When she has trouble finding the ball, she will stay on task until she sniffs it out.   Pixie sleeps happily in her dog bed inside her crate all night long. She walks well on the leash. She may pull a little, but will let up with just a word. She has done great with relearning to always potty outside. She does fine with other dogs and even cats, and she is not very vocal.    While Pixie does not adore cuddling or much petting, she loves to be near her people.   Pixie does not get sick while riding in a car, but she also hasn't had many great experiences that resulted from car rides. As of right now, she will willingly hop in and ride, but she is anxious and shaky while riding. I think with time and experience of the car not always removing her from familiarity (or taking her to the vet), she would have no problems with car rides.     If interested, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here:  adoption application For those viewing on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal please click on More About Rose's Rescue, you may fill out adoption application from there.
