She’s a good dog. Haven’t had any issues with her being around the kids. My new work schedule is making it very difficult to spend time with her.

Story
I have had Topato since she was a puppy she was born on a porch in the middle of winter and needed a home. We’ve moved through multiple states (so she’s great in cars) and I think that stress has finally caught up with her and the apartment life just isn’t for her. In the past we have had huge yards and now that we don’t have one I think she is unhappy. So that’s definitely something I’m looking for in her new home. I am constantly busy with work and can’t give her the attention she deserves. Shes 6 years old (bday nov 20) so smart, loves food, and loves to cuddle. Her favorite trick is to spin. She loves the outdoors. She was raised with other dogs but she hasn’t been around any in awhile so unsure of how she would do freshly introduced. She’s great with cats doesn’t bother them if they want nothing to do with her and doesn’t mind if they wanna cuddle. Zero experience being around children. She’s a sweety pie just a little anxious at times.

Story
Meet Velveeta — a nearly 1.5-year-old Shepherd mix with the perfect mix of brains, energy, and affection packed into her 40-pound frame. This happy girl is always ready for the next adventure, whether that’s hiking trails, going for runs, playing fetch in the backyard, or just being your constant sidekick through everyday life. Velveeta is the definition of a fun-loving best friend. She’s playful, social, goofy, and absolutely adores other dogs. She would thrive in a home with another active, playful dog who enjoys wrestling, zooming, and keeping up with her energy. She’s also the kind of dog who would love an active person or family looking for a loyal companion to include in everything. When the fun is over, Velveeta is incredibly loving and wants nothing more than to be near her people. She forms strong bonds, follows you around like your little shadow, and is happiest when she’s included. She’s crate trained, housebroken when kept on a schedule, and eager to please. Like many young Shepherd mixes, Velveeta is smart, active, and happiest when she has both physical exercise and attention from her humans. She’s still young, still playful, and still full of personality — the perfect age for someone looking for a dog they can truly build a life and adventures with. Velveeta did test positive for ehrlichia exposure, which simply means she was exposed to a tick-borne illness at some point. She currently has no symptoms and feels fantastic. If treatment is ever needed in the future, it’s simple and inexpensive. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy, a playful dog for your current pup, or a happy-go-lucky best friend who’s always ready for whatever comes next — Velveeta may be exactly who you’ve been missing. Adoption is $300 which includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  If you're looking for a loyal companion with a calm spirit and a heart of gold? Meet Jada, a beautiful 5½-year-old Rottweiler/Great Pyrenees mix who's owner recently passed. She is ready to thrive in a loving forever home. Jada combines the best qualities of both breeds: loyalty and devotion of a Rottweiler with the gentle, patient nature of a Great Pyrenees. She may be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her sweet personality quickly shines through. One of her favorite things? Belly rubs—she'll happily remind you when it's time for one! This lovely girl is a dream housemate. She is trustworthy, well-mannered, and so comfortable in a home environment that she doesn't require a crate and can be left to free-roam responsibly. Jada gets along wonderfully with other animals, making her an easy addition to a multi-pet household. She is cat-friendly, enjoys spending time with other dogs, and loves social outings to the dog park. Jada is also comfortable around children and understands how to respect their space, making her a gentle and thoughtful companion in a family setting. She is also an excellent travel companion and never turns down a car ride. She has the perfect balance of energy and relaxation—equally happy joining you for adventures or curling up beside you for a quiet evening on the couch. Her only fear is a vet. She needs sedated with trazadone and muzzled for nail trims and going there. It's out of character, but she can't help it. The meds take care of the issue. It should only be needed once a year. If you're searching for a devoted best friend who will fill your home with love, companionship, and loyalty, Jada is ready to meet you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hello, my name is Emerson and I am 4 ½ year old, 55 lb, pretty darn near perfect hound mix. I am laid back and low maintenance. I am a very nice boy that has to give up my happy home. My mom is facing health issues. She does not want to part with me, but has no choice. I was her first time dog and she could not have asked for better. I let her trim my nails, clean my ears ,and brush my teeth! Now how many dogs are that trusting? I am also a low shedder. I am good with other dogs and children. l can handle being alone, without being upset and can be trusted loose. My owner's circumstances have changed and she feels I deserve more. That is another reason she is letting go.I am just a sweet guy, that makes friends with everyone I meet. I am a big time cuddler, who wouldn't want to do that? It is so comforting. A fenced yard would be perfect, because I am a hound after all and sniffing keeps us happy. I am crate trained, house trained, and looking for a family to love and love me back. Could that be yours?  Fill out an online application and let's find out!   If interested, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here:  adoption application For those viewing on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal please click on More About Rose's Rescue, you may fill out adoption application from there.
