I hate to even think about this but I am suffering several mental illnesses and Dixie has the best nose and really needs a good owner with breed experience, who can train her properly and give her a job to do. She can be super sweet, but previous owners who got her from a pup did not train properly… she was mostly crated. I got her to train for search and rescue just when my PTSD kicked in a depression and other mental issues took over training importance. She’s assumed the alpha dog position in my family and has separation anxiety… which kills me but I’m more stressed than good with her; and adding stress to her life is not something I want to continue to do. She’s an amazing girl, she just needs to be with the right person who can give her undivided attention and proper training. My autism, adhd and PTSD is coming in the way of all of this and it’s not a good fit for either of us, as much as I consider her my child.

Venmo-foster did not tell them to pay the fee Meet Gus! He’s a 1yr old, 50# sweetheart! Within the first 24 hours of Gus arriving, he became very attached and quickly learned my property boundaries. He doesn't roam and gets along very well with both cats and my dog. He would love another playful pup to be best friends with although he doesn’t require one. Initially, he swam in the pond but now prefers just to dip his front feet in. Gus listens well, but I rarely need to give him commands because he is always aware of where his people are and is very attentive. He loves running beside the gator and barks at strangers, which I appreciate, but he is kind and not aggressive toward anyone or anything. His appearance may be intimidating, but he's a gentle soul. Gus doesn't chew on furniture, shoes, or anything else. He is curious but doesn't cause any harm. Gus is an awesome dog—so adaptable and kind. With the constant activity around here, he just hangs out and observes. We spend a lot of time outside at my farm and he loves it. Gus is truly a wonderful companion and would make a fantastic addition to any home! Dobby’s potty training is progressing—he’s mastered using puppy pads for peeing and is still working on getting comfortable pooping outside. Crispin (or Crispy or “Sir”) is a 1 year old, 33# ball of sweetness. He loves to play with you and other dogs, but is still super respectful, especially to smaller dogs. He loves to go on walks and hikes and has so much energy to keep up. But he also loves to nap alongside the other dogs during the day. He is very cuddly and will love being your shadow. He does have some nervous energy: barking for a few minutes after you leave the house or close the door out of sight. But this is a lot because of his young age and not having a home to call his own. As he becomes more secure this should go away. He is currently being potty trained and is a super fast learner: it’s taken him less than a week to adapt to his new schedule! Although smart, he is a bit “derpy” but that just adds to his charm! He would be a perfect starter dog, or really for anyone who’s interested in a low maintenance and sweet companion. Lil is a 6.5 yr. old, 65-70 lb. fawn brindle Staffordshire terrier female and Phil is a 6 yr old, 80-85 lb. Staffordshire terrier/curly coated/Chesapeake Bay retriever mix male. They are the best of friends and make a tremendous duo. They are affectionate, kind, gentle, loving cuddle bugs with a silly, playful side. Incredibly eager to please, obedient, loyal and attentive. They are like sunshine on a rainy day; you simply cannot be in a sad mood around them. Words cannot justify how truly wonderful they are; people adore them when they meet their sweet, kind natures. All they want to do is to love and be loved. One of the greatest duos we've ever known, each being super special in their own right but combined they are magic. They compliment each other so well, being each other's anchor and best friend, they deserve to continue to live together and spread their combined joy. Lil is spayed; Phil is is neutered. Both dogs are fully vaccinated, de-wormed, have been on monthly heart-worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not do it's own 'shots' ... all medical care is done by a licensed, certified Veterinarian or done under their direct supervision (ex., monthly heartworm treatments &/or deworming). All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
