Story
Rockie was adopted by me and my boyfriend as a puppy back in 2018 from a former coworker worker. He was born late October of 2017 and adopted Valentine's day 2018 as a companion for our black labrador mix.More back story added June 2026》Our lab passed away a few weeks after I gave birth to my son which left Rockie as our only dog. A few years went bye and we got another puppy, which didn't work out and we rehomed to a family members best friend. Now he is alone again. Getting older and slowing down a bit. (My toddler is almost 5 yrs old now and has a speech delay and behavioral issues. Which takes most of our focus.) We love Rockie and want him rehomed where he can run in a big fenced in yard with grass and trees, we currently have a middle sized fenced area outside with a sidewalk and pea-sized gravel.

Story
“Everyone says they want an easy dog.” Meet Marley If you’re looking for an easy dog… the kind who simply wants to be by your side… Marley may be the one you’ve been waiting for. Some dogs need constant adventure. Marley just wants someone to love. At around 7–9 years old, Marley has outgrown the puppy chaos and settled into the perfect companion. He’s happy to go for a short stroll, relax by your feet while you watch TV, ride along on errands, or simply enjoy being wherever you are. He’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home. Marley absolutely adores people. He has never met a stranger and greets everyone like an old friend. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will love you with his whole heart, Marley checks every box. When Marley came to Distinguished Dobermans Rescue, he needed some help. We discovered he has hypothyroidism, and once he started medication, everything began to change. He’s feeling better, has already started losing weight, and is thriving. He’ll need to stay on inexpensive thyroid medication and have routine veterinary monitoring, but it’s a simple part of his care—and one that allows him to enjoy a happy, healthy life. Marley gets along with some dogs, although a meet-and-greet is required, and he wouldn’t be the best match for another dominant dog. What breaks our hearts is that Marley keeps getting overlooked. Maybe it’s because he’s no longer a puppy. Maybe it’s because people assume an older dog comes with challenges. Maybe it’s because of his weight - so sad! But the truth is… Marley is one of the easiest, sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. He isn’t looking for perfection. He isn’t asking for much. Just a soft bed, a loving family, and a promise that this home will be forever. If you’ve been searching for a faithful companion instead of a project, Marley is waiting to meet you. Please share his story. His family may simply not know he’s out there yet. ❤️🐾 To apply for Marley, please visit our website at www.ddrinc.net PA kennel license number 19086

💕🐾 Meet Piper 🐾💕 Piper is a sweet 4-year-old little girl who may be a bit shy when she first meets you. But once she gets to know you… watch out! 🥰 She will be your very best friend and wants to be wherever you are. ❤️ Piper gets along with other dogs, but deep down, she would really love to be your one and only. She wants all the love, attention, snuggles, and affection for herself. 💕👑 She loves soaking up the sunshine in the yard ☀️, exploring, and having fun with her squeaky toys. 🧸🐶 All Piper is looking for is her very own person to love and a forever home where she can be your best friend for life. 🥹❤️ Could you be Piper’s forever best friend? 🐾💕 @distinguisheddobermans PA Kennel License #19086

Story
This Little One is sweet as ever. She enjoys cuddles in morning and evenings, keeps pretty busy doing her "work" through out the day, will check in and give a hello then move along. Very smart, quick & restless. Will need a good amount of daily exercise and mental stimulation. Great with other dogs, and very interested and affectionate towards people, and children.

Story
Winnie is the sweetest most loveable 5 year old mini Australian Shepherd. She loves to cuddle and be with other dogs and her humans. I sadly need to rehome her due to having to move. It breaks my heart. I am hoping to find her a good home with room to run where she will be so loved. She truly is the best dog.

Story
Millie is 6 years old. She lives with another dog and 2 cats. She is good with them. We sadly have to rehome the dogs due to having to move. She is very smart and loves being outside and around people. I would like to find her a good home where she has land to run and is with someone who loves her and spoils her. I will miss her terribly.
