Moosh is a 14 year old Papillon. She came to me from a home she was no longer suitable for. She is a very sweet, pleasant dog. In the pictures, her hair is shorter from getting a haircut. She IS longhaired. Fee is to make sure she goes to a responsible home.

Story

Charlie is a mixed breed Australian cattle dog mix. We adopted him from a rescue in Apriland for the most part he is a good dog. He is housebroken and crate trained. He gets along great with our other dog Sandy and other dogs at the park or doggy daycare. They play well together. Charlie likes to cuddle and lick. For the most part he is under voice control. He has to be under strict supervision outside, otherwise he is prone to dig or otherwise tear up the yard. This is something we are constantly working on. However, he is not very good with kids. He guards his toys and treats if our eight year old daughter goes near him. He has even nipped at her a few times. When my wife or I take things away or invade his space, there are no problems. This behavior only seems directed around kids. The decision to rehome Charlie is because of this behavior. Charlie would be a great dog for someone without young children.

Turk is sweet, lovable 4 year old dog(111 lbs) who believes he's a lap dog. Turk is a Saint Berdoodle that we purchased from a local breeder. He is affectionate and loyal once he feels comfortable and gets to know you. Turk has a timid personality, especially around new people. He does best in a calm, lower activity home, as a lot of activity or unfamiliar people can make him nervous. He prefers not to have strangers approach him right away. A few things about Turk: Turk is neutered and microchipped, Completely house trained, crate trained, sweet and loving, listens well to commands, trained with an electronic collar and accustomed to an electric fence; he has always respected the fence boundary, does best with a predictable routine and quieter environment, needs patience meeting new people.Looking for a home that has a yard, calm environment, patience and stability and someone that understands his personality. He is good with other dogs.

Story

Nicki’s previous owner moved and left Nicki and 2 other dogs alone in her apartment without food or water. Nicki was found locked in a crate where he was forced to relieve himself. Nicki is a very smart boy , he came into rescue with very little training but in less then a week he has done an amazing job of learning the rules. Nicki is an energetic young man so children over the age of 10 would be best for him. He is very food motivated which makes training easy but he is always looking for food. He was very pushy with my dogs when he first got here but had learned to wait until it’s his turn for treats. The best adopter for Micki is someone who has some training experience and is an active person who would make sure he gets enough exercise. A fenced yard would be great but not required.
