Story
Hello, my name is Atwood! I was transferred here from another shelter in hopes of finding my forever home. I am a young, energetic puppy. I am looking for a family who is ready to commit to training me to help me become the best adult dog. I am a smart boy who loves treats and learning new things! I am very much into attention from people and love everyone I meet. Come meet me today!Few can resist a puppy. These adorable, soft bundles of energy are similar to four-legged children with tails. And like children, puppies need a lot of time, care, love, and patience. A puppy will depend on you for frequent and regular feedings and walks, for guidance and training, and for much of your time and your love. Before you plunge into puppy parenthood, make sure to research! There are many rewards to caring for a puppy, but there are also many requirements. Puppy classes are highly recommended for socialization and a positive transition into your home. Puppies love to learn how to be the best dog for your family! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neuteringAdoption fee: $235.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2023 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $7.00. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$5.00)All dogs come with free leash and collar.

Story
Hello, my name is Kitty! I came into the shelter from a situation where there were a lot of dogs and we didn`t have a lot of exposure to people. I got to go to a foster home for a little bit and here is what my foster family had to say about me: She continues to improve socially and is a happy `puppy like` dog. She`s doing much better in car rides, is great with potty training, needs a bit more practice with manners but she is a sweetheart and will make a wonderful pet for a good home. Please keep checking my profile for updates as the staff gets to know me better! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Story
Hello, My name is TJ! I am new to the shelter. I was surrendered because my owner fell ill and was no longer able to care for me. My family member told the shelter that I`ve never been around other dogs, I chased the cats in my home, I`m crate trained, I really like to be with my people, and I like having people who are home often. I am a bit of a nervous boy who may do best with humans teenage years and older. Please keep checking my profile for updates as the staff gets to know me better! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Story
Hello, my name is Poppy! I came into the shelter from a situation where there were a lot of dogs and we didn`t have a lot of exposure to people. I can be timid and usure at first but cheese is definitely the way to my heart. Even though I came from a home with other dogs the shelter is finding that I`m a bit selective when making new friends. I`m don`t seem to like being with female dogs at all and may prefer to become an only dog now that I have the choice. If you have a dog at home already they would need to come for a meet and greet before taking me home with them. Please keep checking my profile for updates as the staff gets to know me better! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings.
