Story
Meet Louie Louie was adopted as a puppy and returned because when the other dog and Louie would play they would get carried away and bite each other. Come to find out when Louie was returned he had a terrible bacterial infection of his skin. It had raw, oozing lesions that were not treated properly. After many skin cultures and medication he is feeling much better and no more sores. This dog lives just to go bye bye! He listens well, is housebroke, crate trained and 100% cat friendly. He's a big goof at times, so toddlers would probably not be ideal, as that tail would be knocking them down. He shows no aggression with the other dogs. His adoption fee is $250.00 Fill out an app to adopt at www.saveamomrescue.com and be sure your vet knows it's ok to give us a reference. We call for your reference before setting up a meet and greet.

Story
Rory!! This pretty girl is ready for her new home. She came in from our local pound nursing newborn pups. I suspect she was just left to fend for herself as an outside dog. She has made amazing progress since her pups got adopted. She loves to go for walks, run in the yard and is learning how much fun toys can be. It's sad, but some dogs have no idea what toys are. She showed interest in the cats at first, but now will let them rub against her. She is also figuring out that the other dogs will not get her. I bet she was getting beat up on the streets. Rory looks to be about 2 yrs old and 48lbs. Her DNA is attached. She is spayed, microchipped, current vaccinations, 4dx parasite screen, on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $400.00 Fill out an application @ www.saveamomrescue.com and be sure your vet knows it's ok to give us a reference when we call.

Honey Bee had a rough life prior to rescue. She was pregnant, heartworm and Lyme positive and also had a bum leg. It has been a long road to recovery, but she feels like a new dog now! She is about 3 yrs old and only 22lbs. Dog, cat and people friendly. She does need a fenced yard. Her right front leg has an old fracture, but is healed and does not warrant amputation. She is spayed, microchipped and has her vaccinations. She has been treated for heartworm and Lyme disease and doing so much better. She still needs crated when you leave and at bedtime.
