Story
Meet Papi This 3-year-old Chihuahua mix has been through a big life change after losing his previous owner, and he’s still trying to figure out the world around him. Everything feels a little overwhelming right now, so Papi is looking for someone patient and understanding to help him feel safe again. He can be a bit unsure and isn’t a fan of being picked up—he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground, thank you very much! Papi also has a touch of that classic “little dog syndrome,” letting you know how he feels when he’s uncomfortable. But underneath it all is a loyal little guy who just needs time, consistency, and gentle guidance. With patience and love, Papi has so much potential to blossom into a devoted companion. He’s searching for a calm home where he can build trust at his own pace and finally feel secure again.

She’s the kind of dog who forms strong bonds with her people and loves being involved in whatever you’re doing. Briley would do best in an active home that can keep both her mind and body busy—she’s not one to sit on the sidelines for long! Meet Kojack, a gentle giant Cane Corso with a heart as big as his frame! Weighing in at 90 pounds (and still filling out!), Kojack has come a long way. When he first arrived, he was missing most of his hair, but now his skin is healthy and his coat is growing back beautifully. This transformation reflects the care, love, and patience that define his personality. Kojack is sweet, well-mannered, and loves people. He’s comfortable around other dogs and enjoys his daily walks, strolling nicely on leash—though sometimes he forgets just how strong he is! Despite his size, he’s calm, affectionate, and eager to please. He is currently finishing treatment for Lyme disease, and with his health improving, he’s ready to find a forever home that can match his loving and loyal nature. Kojack would thrive in a home that understands large, strong dogs and can provide gentle guidance and plenty of companionship. If you’re ready for a loyal, affectionate, and resilient companion, Kojack is ready to meet you and steal your heart! *To ensure he is placed in a responsible home applicants will be hand picked - please schedule an appointment to come visit!*
