Story
Adopted Maggie in 2017, where the previous owners and vets guessed she was 3 years old. She was a rescue, so her origins are unclear. Shes very laid back. People often remark at how theyve forgotten she was there when they visit. Unfortunately, in the almost decade since adopting her, my family has grown. I have two kiddos, and Maggie has fallen to the background. Its not her fault, and I think she deserves better in her final years. She has issues, though. If left alone she will scour the trash and countertops for anything edible, as well as pee or even poop on the floor sometimes when left alone. That can be mitigated by letting her out a lot, but its mainly sep. anxiety. Storms and fireworks make her tremble. The only solution is meds or tough it out, weve tried everything else. She has Cushings & takes 37.5mg of Vetoryl daily (~$80/mo, BandanaRx). Her eyesight is pretty bad, as you would guess from the pics. Shes a good girl. She's not perfect but deserves better.

Story
Everyone please meet Finn (aka Finley Eugene aka Fibber) he is our 6 year old Aussie/Poodle mix. He is fixed and chipped and his birthday is 11/09/2019 making him a Scorpio! When we adopted him in 2020 I truly believed he was my soul dog but with our changing home environment I know he is not thriving anymore. We have a 1.5 year old son and I can see how anxious Finn gets when my son is around. As to no fault of his owe, he does get possessive over food and I don’t feel comfortable with my son being around him anymore. On top of that we are also moving and won’t be able to take him since we have to downsize. Finn would flourish with a human solely dedicated to him or at the very most with one other pet. To whoever ends up with him, take care of my best friend <3

Story
Koda is a 5-year-old Border Collie/German Shepherd mix with a gentle spirit and resilient heart. He came to us after his previous owner, facing serious medical challenges, could no longer care for him. Though mostly blind from pannus, Koda has proven incredibly adaptable. Pannus is a lifelong progressive disorder requiring ongoing care.He navigates his home with confidence, manages stairs easily, enjoys toys, and is well house-trained, clearly signaling when he needs to go outside. Koda is deeply affectionate and loves cuddles and close companionship. Because of his vision, he may gently jump up to sniff your breath as his way of saying hello.Koda would do best in a calm, predictable home without young children or other pets, as close quarters can make him uneasy. He has done great with a 9 year old before! He’s not reactive to dogs outdoors and would enjoy relaxed walks. With patience and love, Koda will be a loyal, devoted companion. Please give Koda the loving home he deserves!

Story
Luna is a 6-year-old black Lab–Dachshund mix and an absolute cuddle bug. She’s incredibly loving and thrives on affection. Her only challenge is anxiety around unfamiliar dogs. She has had three past incidents involving other dogs, which we believe stem from being attacked by a German Shepherd as a puppy. That said, Luna does very well with dogs she knows and has never shown any aggression toward our other dog. She is excellent with children and has never displayed even the slightest aggression toward people. At this stage in our lives, with the demands of caring for our children, we’re no longer able to give our dogs the time and attention they deserve.
