Story
Tara is a wonderful dog! She was owned by an elderly man who got her from a rescue. Her original family left her at the home when they moved away. Upon arriving at her new home she was so grateful to be there she howled when she saw the bedrooms and her food area! That was the only time he heard her howl. Sadly, her owner became stricken with dementia and had to abruptly be placed in a safe environment. In just one day she was left alone and only had us to stop by twice a day to feed and walk. She is incredibly lonely and just wants to be loved and around people. It has been 7 weeks of her being by herself. Her owner doesn’t appear to be able to come home so it’s time to find her a home and let her live with love again. We pray someone will want to give this sweet girl a forever home. Bless you!

Meet Siri Siri came into rescue after she whelped her pups in a cow barn. She was an excellent momma. After weaning her pups she needed to be treated for heartworms.. She has now finally been spayed and ready for a new home. She is dog selective. Does fine with younger pups and adult dogs that are not bouncing in her face or confronting her. She is not cat friendly. She is very people friendly and loves to go for walks. She would do best with children 10 yrs and older. Siri is about 3 yrs old and 65 lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $400 Fill out an application @ www.saveamomrescue.com and be sure to notify your vet that we will be calling for a reference.
