Story

$0 adoption fee. My husband and I are so sad but need to rehome our sweet girl Nora. We have been trying to rehome her for several months. We feel desperate. She is such a good dog but there’s issues with her getting along with our family member’s small dog who we live with. We moved in June. Our family member who owns the home we live in says Nora needs to be out as soon as possible. She would need a home with no small dogs and no cats. She does great with all other sized dogs and gentle with kids. Has always loved going to our local dog park to play with other dogs. She’s 4 yrs old, around 65lbs. We’re willing to meet halfway so you can meet her if distance is an issue. We can also come to you depending on distance. We love her a lot and want her to go to a loving home. We’ve only had her for 1 yr and much of her life has already been in a shelter.

This is Speedy last name Gonzales. He is around 8 years old with a lot of energy he was adopted from a shelter back in March of 2026 he has been an amazing addition. Speedy is not good with other dogs although he is a sweetheart at home loves to cuddle up under blankets. He’s not a very vocal dog which is good for apartment living. I would describe him as energetic and loving he gets the zoomies but other than that he is pretty mellow and likes to lay around. If your an active person that great he loves to go running and does great with it runs 3 miles with ease and long hikes. Honestly we really just want him to find a good home with school, work, and travel he’s been in his cage more than we would like and just need a new home that can give him the attention that he deserves.

Maverick needs a fenced yard to play in, but needs to be an indoor dog. He is a 2 year old with energy! He was born in Louisiana and is Mountain Cur, Blue Heeler, and Australian Shepherd mix. He is current on all vaccines and microchipped. He likes our cat and loves the dog park. He is a very sweet boy! We will keep him until we find just the right home.

Story

Doc is 3 1/2 years old and weighs 35lbs. His father was a Dachshund/Chihuahua mix and his Mother was a Treeing Cur. He is a sweet boy and we have never seen any aggression from him. He does bark at visitors when they first come to the house but settles after a few minutes. He does need some more training for car rides and socialization. He currently lives with our 12 year old dachshund so i'm sure he could become friends with another dog but he will need someone that is willing to give him the time and love he deserves. He has the chihuahua shake when hes nervous. He is very well potty trained and will ring a bell to go outside. He is also very smart and knows a number of tricks. He's got energy and would love to have someone with the time to walk him or that has a fenced-in yard. Our circumstances don't allow for us to keep him and although re-homing him is heartbreaking he just needs more than we can currently give him. (His tail has not been docked, It's natural)

I got Roxie at 8 weeks ok she grew up with me in college. She is an amazing dog and it breaks my heart having to part with her because she’s a great dog. But with my living situation and career path I just can’t exercise her as much as she needs. She is extremely smart and well behaved. She does amazing with other dogs but has shown signs of aggression over food only with dogs. She will come with her crate and her food bowl. She’s the most loving dog I’ve ever had and I just want her to have a life that I can not give her and I know someone else can.
