Baxter's owner is a relative of mine who was recently in an accident and will be in rehab for quite some time. Because he won't be able to provide the care Baxter needs once he is healthy again, I am helping him to find a wonderful new home. Baxter was originally an adopted dog and is approximately 8 years old.Baxter is:• Friendly and affectionate with people• Neutered, fully vaccinated, and house trained• An experienced indoor dog (lived inside for the last 5 years)• Best suited as the only pet in the householdBaxter is a very friendly boy who enjoys being around people, though I do not know how he reacts to children. While he has been a well-behaved indoor dog for years, he has recently shown some stress by damaging flooring when left alone, likely due to the significant changes in his life. Thunder and fireworks bother him, too.Baxter is currently being boarded and would love to get back into a calm, stable home environment.💰 Rehoming fee: $50

Dante is a 2 year old lab mix. He is the sweetest soul - gentle and intelligent, but playful and funny too. He’s about 68 lbs and very athletic, but knows how to relax in the house.He needs to be an only dog. Things are escalating with our other male (who has anxiety issues), and we’ve made the decision to rehome Dante.Dante is very shy with strangers. He was homeless for his early months, and we think he may have had some bad experiences with people, so it takes him time to warm up. His new home will need to go slow and be patient with him. The good news is that he is super treat and toy motivated! Once he trusts someone, he becomes an entirely different dog - confident, loving, silly, and deeply loyal.Because he needs patience and calm while he adjusts, Dante needs a home with no small kids - adults and/or calm, patient teens only.

My husband and I are so sad but need to rehome our sweet girl Nora. She is such a good dog but there were issues with her getting along with our family members small dog who we live with. Our family member who owns the home we live in says Nora needs to be out of the house as soon as possible. She would need a home that has no small dogs and no cats. She does great with all other sized dogs. Has always loved going to our local dog park and playing with other dogs. She has always been great with our little nieces and nephews. She’s about 3.5 yrs old, around 70lbs. She is not spayed but if that is a dealbreaker we can pay for the cost of her getting spayed or you can wait for her to be spayed before you officially adopt her into your home. We love her a lot and want her to go to a loving home.

She has been part of our family her entire life. ▪︎ Housebroken ▪︎ Crate trained ▪︎ LOVES squeaky toys ▪︎ Giant rawhide bones are her reason for living ▪︎ Professional pillow cuddler ▪︎ Full of personality, affection, and love Lizzy was 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝟰 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗼𝗹𝗱. Because of that trauma, she is extremely uncomfortable with anyone touching her paws. She has some arthritis & sensitivity in her hips as a result of that attack. Because of those sensitivities, 𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻. Story

Unfortunately I will have to have Mercury humanely euthanized if I do not find him a home soon* I adopted Mercury when he was 7 months old in May of 2020. He is now 6 and a half and is good with dogs and cats (he does need time to aggressively sniff any new cat though lol). He will try to eat out of the cat box and he will get up on counters to get human food if he isn't watched. He does not listen to my partner or 13 year old daughter when they tell him no. He barks at someone that tries to take something away from him that he isn't supposed to have. He is crate trained though he does have separation anxiety and bellows for a while after being put in the crate he does eventually calm and go to sleep. He also has a happy tail from being in the crate. I'd describe him as strong willed, happy, and lazy. He loves just laying on his dog bed and eating treats or sun tanning in the front yard.
