Story
This handsome boy is a 4 year old German Shepherd with a big heart. He is very obedient, loyal, and protective. Loves being outside, going on walks, playing ball, and running free in a fenced yard. He’s a big baby who loves to cuddle. He does best in a home with teens or older children. He has never been aggressive but has shown discomfort when approached by younger kids, so we feel a child-free or older-child home is best. He is trained on an electric collar and responds well to commands. This is a heartbreaking decision, but we want what’s safest and best for both him and our family. Looking for a responsible, loving home where he can thrive.

Story
This is Sugar, a 7-year-old hound/shepherd mix I adopted from the Pound when she was about a year old. She has been my best friend for years, but with recent life changes and now having a young child, I can no longer give her the life and environment she needs. Sugar is very loving, loyal, and sweet with my wife and me. She has plenty of energy and loves to run, so she’d do best with someone active who can spend time with her. That being said, she does come with some challenges and needs the right fit: She does not take well to men. She’s generally done well with women but has shown protective behavior in our home, including attempting to bite when strangers (men) come in. She lives with two other dogs now, but it took a long adjustment period and she started fights. She was food aggressive at first, so we’ve always fed separately. Ideally, she would thrive as an only dog. She has done ok with our baby so far, but I don’t feel I can fully trust her around young children long-term.

Story
I got Roxie at 8 weeks ok she grew up with me in college. She is an amazing dog and it breaks my heart having to part with her because she’s a great dog. But with my living situation and career path I just can’t exercise her as much as she needs. She is extremely smart and well behaved. She does amazing with other dogs but has shown signs of aggression over food only with dogs. She will come with her crate and her food bowl. She’s the most loving dog I’ve ever had and I just want her to have a life that I can not give her and I know someone else can.

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Meet Kevin (male) and Karen (female). They were adopted from Northeast Ohio SPCA in February at 10ish weeks old. They are litter mates from Georgia. They have had all of their shots and check ups. They were spayed and neutered in July. Due to our family size and extra curricular activities, we have failed to be there for them and provide the proper care and maintenance that they deserve. They are not house broken and spend most of their day outside enjoying the summer air. They are great around kids and have never shown aggression towards humans. They are great around some dogs but tend to “pack” so other dogs have found it overwhelming.

Story
Dakota is a 7yr old male lab mix. He was the love and joy for his elder owner, who was our neighbor. Unfortunately he lost his owner due to her medical issues. Her POA said there was no where else for him to go, shelters and rescues were too full to take him. POA signed ownership over to me so that I can get him taken care of. Life happened in a few ways while trying to find him a new home, forcing me to move my children and I into a smaller house. We no longer have a fenced in yard and the smaller house is a bit crowded for the space he needs to stretch out. He is a very good dog, still has playful energy, loves his stuffies and treats. I am unable to meet his space and attention needs and would love for someone to give him a great loving home where he can thrive again. Adoption fee will be used to provide his food, toys, and treats to get started with his new family.
