Hello! My name is Dennis!I`m a charming, lovable guy! I`m sweet and affectionate and looking for a home that will play with me and give me lots of cool things to chew - I do love to use my chompers to enjoy fun textures and toys. I also love following my nose and exploring new environments. What a great way for me to burn some brain energy! And I`m a snuggly boy who enjoys curling up to my humans after a long day.MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers should be fine. I don`t like to share my high-value items so young kids aren`t recommended.OTHER DOGS: Yes, I would enjoy a friendly, bouncy dog to wrestle with!CATS: Potentially, with cat who has lived with, and isn`t scared of, us big dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Potentially, if you have some large breed experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Not necessary but would help to burn some energy!HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Hello! My name is Scooby!I`m a charming love muffin who enjoys meeting new people. I may get excited and be a bit jumpy but I`m super smart and am learning about lots of cool manners. I love to snuggle with human beings. The more pets, the better. I am a giant puppy and I move like one - uncoordinated bouncing and leaping. I can be mouthy, like I said, I`m a giant puppy, but I`m pretty gentle about it. I would love to join a home that has a young, playful dog friend that will bounce around and play with me!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers would be good, no young kiddos given my size and tendency to be jumpy and sometimes mouthy.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a dog who would love to run and play with me.CATS: No, I may be too exuberant for a cat friend.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has dog experience. FENCED-IN YARD: Recommended so I have a safe space to run and leap and get energy out.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any, with yard preferred to help with exercise.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though I might not be the best match for a home with humans who are gone for a full work day.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-high.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes. Hello! My name is London!I`m a fun and loving girl! I am snuggly and affectionate. I love treats and toys, which makes training a blast! I sometimes get excited and like to grab sleeves with my mouth. I thought that was fun but apparently humans don`t enjoy it as much as I do. No worries though, I`m super smart and doing well with training - I`m learning about other fun things to do instead. If you love cuddling, playing and snoring, I am definitely the girl for you!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers should be fine. No young kids given I am still learning manners.OTHER DOGS: Potentially, it would have to be a very particular dog as I don`t like to roughhouse and I don`t like sharing my toys with dogs. If there is a dog in the home, he should be easy going, not exuberant, and not a resource guarder.CATS: Potentially, with cat experienced and confident around dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: I do love to romp around outside while tossing toys in the air. A fence would be helpful to set me up for success.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any, with yard preferred to help with exercise.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Bentley!Do you love Canadian winters? Are you ecstatic when there is a huge snowfall? Do you love rolling around in the snow making snow-dogs? Meee too! If you love being outside in the snow, I`m your guy! If you don`t, maybe I can enjoy the snow in the yard while you watch and smile from the window. I am sensitive about handling, particularly of my paws. I am looking for humans who will be patient with me and put in some effort to help me feel more comfy with handling so it`s not so stressful. I am strong and do pull on leash so my humans should be comfortable walking a strong doggo. I`m a super friendly guy and will enthusiastically greet new people. MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok but no young children given I have some handling sensitivities.OTHER DOGS: Yes, a friendly dog who isn’t too exuberant would be fine.CATS: Potentially, I’ve never lived with a cat before but didn’t seem too worked up when I saw one through the window at GHS. If you have a cat, they should have experience living with big dogs and not hiding or running.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has some dog experience or husky knowledge.FENCED-IN YARD: Not necessarily. HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any, though my previous owners found it hard to meet my energy needs in an apartment building and felt having a space to run was helpful to getting my energy out.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though I may not be best suited for a home where the humans are gone for a full work day.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. Hello! My name is Mikka!I`m a sweet and gentle girl who can be skittish at times. I take a little bit of time to warm up to new people. I enjoy playing with toys and would love a home where I will get lots play time and outdoor adventures! I might chew things in the house if I`m bored and have pent up energy. No need to worry though, if you provide me with good physical and mental stimulation, I`m the best girl! I am very snuggly and want to make sure my humans enjoy doggy snuggles!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers should be fine. No young children given I can be timid.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a well-matched dog. I enjoy chasing and running but may not enjoy rough and tumble puppy energy.CATS: No, given my prey drive.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Yes, if you have some experience with dogs and recognizing nervous body language.FENCED-IN YARD: Not necessarily.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Given I can be skittish, busy apartment buildings or those where I’d need to take an elevator wouldn’t be ideal.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium. Hello! My name is Banana!I am a fun girl who loves to run around and play with toys. I enjoy playing with dog friends as well! I can be nervous meeting new people but will warm up nicely if they give me space and maybe toss a few treats and toys. This helps me learn that they are safe and not going to do anything scary. I find learning fun, especially when it involves treats and toys. I would love to join a home that wants to help build my confidence through positive experiences and lots of praise!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok. No young kiddos given my sensitive nature and lack of experience with them.OTHER DOGS: Yes, a confident, playful dog in the home would be great to play with and show me that humans are safe.CATS: Potentially, with a cat comfortable and experienced living with big dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Potentially if you have experience with big dogs or better yet timid dogs.FENCED-IN YARD: Not required but would be nice to have space to stretch my long legs and zoom around!HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings given I can get nervous about strangers getting too close.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.
