Hello! My name is London!I`m a fun and loving girl! I am snuggly and affectionate. I love treats and toys, which makes training a blast! I sometimes get excited and like to grab sleeves with my mouth. I thought that was fun but apparently humans don`t enjoy it as much as I do. No worries though, I`m super smart and doing well with training - I`m learning about other fun things to do instead. If you love cuddling, playing and snoring, I am definitely the girl for you!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers may be ok. No young kids given my mouthing can sometimes be hard.OTHER DOGS: I don`t seem to enjoy the company of other dogs and I`m looking to be the only dog.CATS: Potentially, with cat experienced and confident around dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Required.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with yard.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!FOSTER ME! I’m excited to be selected as part of the Paisley Project and I’m looking for a foster home! If your home environment matches what I’m looking for based on the information above, please consider applying to foster me by copying and pasting the following link to fill out the questionnaire: https://guelphhumane.ca/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=frm_forms_preview&form=7y88o.The Paisley Project aims to match selected, long-stay animals at GHS with fosters that can provide a home that gradually introduces them to the everyday experiences of life as a pet. Story
Hello! My name is Scooby!I`m a charming love muffin who enjoys meeting new people. I may get excited and be a bit jumpy but I`m super smart and am learning about lots of cool manners. I love to snuggle with human beings. The more pets, the better. I am a giant puppy and I move like one - uncoordinated bouncing and leaping. I can be mouthy, like I said, I`m a giant puppy, but I`m pretty gentle about it. I would love to join a home that has a young, playful dog friend that will bounce around and play with me!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers would be good, no young kiddos given my size and tendency to be jumpy and mouthy.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a dog who would love to run and play with me but won`t be upset by my initial barking.CATS: No, I am too exuberant for a cat friend.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I would do best with someone who has large breed dog experience. FENCED-IN YARD: Required.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any, with a fully-fenced in yard.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily, though I might not be the best match for a home with humans who are gone for a full work day.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium-high.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes. Story
Hello! My name is Pippin!I`m a sensitive guy who can get stressed when things change. I love stability and routine, but who doesn`t, right!? I have been spending my time in a wonderful foster home where I`m learning to feel safe and I`m coming out of my shell. I love to snuggle in bed with my humans and I do ok with strangers as long as they give me space and let me be. While I do fine living with dogs and even meeting dogs, I do sometimes bark and pull when seeing them on leash. I would love for my humans to continue with positive training to help walks be more relaxing. I promise to pay with snuggles and being a fantastic dog companion!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: I`m looking for an adult-only home.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a respectful, calm dog.CATS: Potentially, with a cat experienced living with dogs.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: I`m looking for someone who has previous dog experience.FENCED-IN YARD: Required unless rural.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: Any with yard.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: No, I do well left alone.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I would make a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!

Story
Hello! My name is Mikka!I`m a sweet and gentle girl looking for a loving home! I enjoy playing with toys and would love a home where I will get lots play time and outdoor adventures! I do enjoy chew toys, so hopefully my new family is happy to provide me with lots of fun things to chew. I have been in a wonderful foster home for a while now and we`ve learned that I love car rides and I might be a water dog - rain doesn`t scare me and I`m very interested in the bathtub when water starts flowing into it! I am scared of getting into trouble. My foster humans are doing a good job of showing me that I`m a good girl and nothing bad is going to happen, but sadly, likely due to my past, my first reaction is still to cower when I think someone is going to do something scary. I would really benefit from a gentle, kind home where the humans will continue to help me feel safe and build my confidence. I am a snuggly girl who would appreciate humans who enjoy dog cuddles!MY IDEAL HOME INVOLVES…CHILDREN: Teenagers should be fine. No young children given I can be timid.OTHER DOGS: Yes, with a well-matched dog of similar or larger size. I enjoy chasing and running but don`t like rough and tumble puppy energy.CATS: No, given my prey drive.FIRST-TIME DOG OWNERS: Yes, if you have some experience with dogs and recognizing nervous body language.FENCED-IN YARD: Applicants with a fully-fenced yard would be preferred given I can be reactive to dogs & wildlife on leash, so a yard gives us a nice break from walks.HOUSING ENVIRONMENT: No apartment buildings given I can be skittish and don`t love other dogs in my personal bubble.SOMEONE HOME MOST OF THE DAY: Not necessarily.SOME OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME…ACTIVITY LEVEL: Medium.HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes.If you think I could be a good match for your home, click the “Adopt Me” button to apply!
