Story
Bolt and his siblings Thunder and Rayne were surrendered to our rescue by a local family who had an accidental litter. There were seven puppies in total but the family was able to find homes for the other four. They are 7 months old and just the sweetest babies. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Bolt was getting picked on by his siblings so he came to us very skinny as they would not let him eat. He was very submissive to them and seems like he would benefit with some confidence training. He is shy but is so cuddly once he is comfortable with you. Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Meet Pistol, a Golden Retriever and German Shorthair Pointer mix. He will turn 4 years old on April 9th. Pistol is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He weighs about 80 pounds and believes he’s a lap dog!  Pistol is housebroken and crate-trained. He gets along well with cats and most other dogs, making him a great companion. As a vigilant watchdog, he has lots of energy and loves to play and run around. His favorite toy is a squeaky chicken, and he enjoys playing fetch. When he’s not active, he loves to relax and receive belly rubs. Although Pistol was raised around children, he has recently become uncomfortable in their presence, and his warning growls can be intimidating for kids. Therefore, his owners are looking for a home without children. Transfer Fee $200 Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG     CAT     BIRD      REPTILE       SMALL ANIMALS        November 13, 2025, 11:03 pm

Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Duck was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Greene County, TN, where overcrowding forces heartbreaking decisions every day. Some were strays never reclaimed. Others were surrendered by their families — and sadly, owner surrenders are the first to be euthanized, as they receive no stray hold. Duck is an owner surrender he is housebroken, good with children, other dogs, and cats, knows commands, and is neutered. Duck is a big boy weighing 80lbs. Thankfully, our rescue partner in Tennessee stepped in just in time, saving 15 incredible dogs from the “last call” list. Each has now received full veterinary care and is preparing for a fresh start in PA. Despite their past, these dogs are full of hope and heart. Could this survivor be your new best friend? Story
Rosie is the sweetest girl. Don't let her age fool you, even though she is 8 she acts like she is 2! She would make for a great bird dog if a hunter would take some time to train her, she points at everything and has a high prey drive! She ended up at our adoption center to no fault of her own. Her previous owner said he didn't have time for her and has been keeping her outside in a kennel because he didn't want Rosie to knock over his elderly mother. Rosie does resource guard her favorite bones/toys but does not care when you take her food! After we ran some blood work on her we did find that she has pancreatitis. This just means she needs to be on a low-fat food to prevent her from getting fatty liver disease. Rosie is now spayed, up to date on vaccines and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Rosie loves to play fetch and run in our exercise yard here at the adoption center. To apply please fill put the application linked below! https://form.jotform.com/222314529153147

Holly is the definition of a cuddle bug! All she ever wants to do is take a light stroll and cuddle on the couch. She can be a little timid of new people but once she knows you, she tends to jump right in your lap to snuggle up. Holly absolutely does not like cats but is okay with most other dogs. Holly was found as a stray, taken to our kennel in Texas and then transported up to our adoption center in Chester County, Pa. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and current on Flea, tick and heartworm prevention. To apply please fill out the application linked below! https://form.jotform.com/222314529153147
