Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Meet Pistol, a Golden Retriever and German Shorthair Pointer mix. He will turn 4 years old on April 9th. Pistol is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He weighs about 80 pounds and believes he’s a lap dog!  Pistol is housebroken and crate-trained. He gets along well with cats and most other dogs, making him a great companion. As a vigilant watchdog, he has lots of energy and loves to play and run around. His favorite toy is a squeaky chicken, and he enjoys playing fetch. When he’s not active, he loves to relax and receive belly rubs. Although Pistol was raised around children, he has recently become uncomfortable in their presence, and his warning growls can be intimidating for kids. Therefore, his owners are looking for a home without children. Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Mallory is a sweet, gentle girl who’s still learning that people can be trusted. Like her brothers Mason, and Monty she can be a bit withdrawn at first, but once Mallory realizes you’re kind and patient, her true personality begins to emerge. She warms up with quiet reassurance and does best with someone who will let her move at her own pace. Mallory is currently in a foster home in Tennessee and does well with other dogs. She is still working on training and would benefit from a consistent routine and positive reinforcement. Mallory is aoptic. 10 months old, 39 lbs. and an absolute love. Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Meet the Cuter Things Litter (Inspired by STRANGER THINGS ) This adorable all-girl litter came to us through no fault of their own. Their owner was arrested, and his girlfriend and the puppies had to move out by December 31st. She was able to find a family member willing to foster the mama dog, but sadly there was nowhere for the puppies to go. Thanks to one of our amazing volunteers, these girls were picked up and brought to safety.  When they first arrived, they looked like they’d been battling Demogorgons — but after a much-needed bath, full bellies, and some TLC, they’ve transformed into the happy, playful, very cute puppies they were meant to be. The pup's mom is a Goldendoodle mix and dad is unknown. We don’t know what they’re mixed with, but we do know they’re sweet, resilient, and ready to leave the Upside Down behind for loving forever homes. Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Bridget was born on 12/5/25 and is a 10-week-old Beagle mix with an adorable face. She’s curious, cuddly, and loves being close to her people.  Bea and Bridget were adopted together by a sweet elderly couple, but caring for two young puppies proved to be more than they could manage. Like many littermates, they compete over food and toys, so we feel they’ll do best adopted separately, where each can shine and bond fully with their new family. Story
These adorable Malinois/lab mix pups are looking for their forever home! These babies came to us from a local family who had an accidental litter. Mom is a chocolate Lab and dad is a Belgian malinois. These two girls are just so sweet and cuddly but also love to play and run. They would do best in a home with a breed experienced owner as Malinois are a very high strong breed. We would also like to see these girls go home with no young children under the age of 8 in the home. These girls will need lots of training and will need to be with an active family who can keep their little minds busy! They are up to date on vaccines for their age, microchipped, dewormed and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. Apply to adopt today! https://form.jotform.com/222314529153147 Kennel ID #01658

Story
KENNEL ID #18804 Sunca (pronounced Shoon-ka) is a sweet, affectionate 2-year-old puggle who thrives on closeness and companionship. She’s the kind of dog who happily curls up next to you, follows you from room to room, and makes herself right at home wherever her people are. When she wants attention, she’ll gently walk up and give a small bark — just her way of saying, “Hey, I’m here.” Sunca has lived with young children and does wonderfully with kids of all ages. She has good manners, basic training, and knows commands like come, sit, down, and off. She is fully house-trained and does well being crated when her humans are away (her crate will go with her). At home, Sunca slept in the bedroom and was very much part of everyday family life. She’s gentle, loving, and would be happiest in a home where she can enjoy plenty of cuddles and companionship. Sunca is currently in foster care and ready to begin her next chapter with a family who will adore her as much as she deserves. While great homes are the priority, Timber and Sunca may be adopted together for a combined adoption fee of $500. Sunca‘a Adoption Fee $400 includes crate  Thank you for your interest in rescue.  If you would like to be considered for  adoption,  please submit an application to adopt.  If you have any questions regarding the adoption process, please email:  rescuedp2024@icloud.com  or ddlu219@yahoo.com   for dog/puppies.    APPLICATIONS TO ADOPT : DOG     CAT     BIRD      REPTILE       SMALL ANIMALS        February 19, 2026, 3:07 pm
