Story
Teddy is a 3-year-old Lab mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. He absolutely adores playing fetch and would happily spend hours chasing a ball or two!Teddy is new to our shelter and is still learning all about his new surroundings, routines, and friends. He’s reported to do well with female dogs and is slowly gaining confidence every day. During play, he may growl a bit, but it’s just his way of having fun. Teddy does bark occasionally too, but only to alert you to visitors or say a cheerful hello. It’s all part of his friendly, attentive personality. He’s looking for a loving home that will enjoy his playful energy, share lots of games of fetch, and give him the patience and affection he deserves as he continues to settle in. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will greet you with wagging tail, goofy grins, and endless love, Teddy just might be your perfect match! Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
Meet Raymond — the king of chill This easygoing gentleman was found as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but one thing’s clear: he’s made up his mind that life is meant to be enjoyed one sunny nap at a time.Raymond is a senior soul who appreciates the simple things — a cozy spot to lounge, a gentle walk now and then, and a good scratch behind the ears. He’s not a fan of rainy days (they interrupt his sunbathing schedule, after all) and he prefers to be the only animal in his kingdom. While he’s not much for cuddling, he adores being petted and treated with the respect a king deserves. If your perfect day involves relaxing in the sunshine with a calm, loyal companion by your side, Raymond is your guy. He’s sweet, mellow, and ready to rule your heart — one sunbeam at a time. Please note: He has daily medications that would need to be continued, but he takes them like a champ! Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
Meet Mini, a diamond in the ruff.If you believe in second chances, patient hearts, and the joy of watching a shy soul blossom—then you just might be the person Mini’s been waiting for.Mini is a beautiful, sensitive girl who is still learning what it means to feel safe and loved. She came to us with no training and a heart full of uncertainty—but day by day, with gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement, she’s showing us just how bright her light can shine.Though Mini is fearful around new people and needs time to warm up, once you’ve earned her trust, she becomes your most affectionate, loyal shadow. She doesn’t understand personal space—because to her, love means slobbery kisses and full-body cuddles. 💕Mini is a work in progress, and she needs a home that will continue her training with kindness, structure, and lots of yummy treats (her favorite!). She’s incredibly food motivated and smart as a whip—she’s already mastered “sit,” “lay down,” and is proudly learning fun agility-style tricks like jumping, balancing on targets, and even weaving between legs! She absolutely loves to learn—it’s how she connects and builds confidence. Her ideal home will be patient and understanding, helping her grow at her own pace while celebrating each little win along the way.Right now other dogs can still make her nervous so she’ll need slow introductions and understanding when it comes to new furry friends.Mini may not be the kind of dog who runs up to strangers with tail wags and kisses right away—but if you give her the gift of time and compassion, you’ll get to see her beautiful heart unfold. And once it does? You’ll wonder how you ever lived without her. Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org

Story
Meet Hope – A Calm, Playful Soul Ready for Her Happy Ending 💜🐾When Hope first arrived at our doorstep in the early hours of a winter morning, she was unsure and searching for safety. Since then, she’s come such a long way. With patience, love, and consistency, Hope has learned that the world isn’t so scary. Her sweet, gentle personality now shines through more every day.Hope is a calm, well-mannered girl who enjoys her routines and loves keeping her space tidy and cozy. She has a playful side, too! She adores her toys, gets the zoomies now and then, and happily curls up afterward for a good nap with a chew bone. Car rides are one of her favorite things; she loves sitting shotgun with the wind in her ears and a happy sparkle in her eyes.Hope does well around cats but may give chase if introductions aren’t done slowly. She’s very selective with other dogs prefers to stick to humans. Hope warms up quickly to women but can be a little hesitant around men. She appreciates a gentle, patient approach when meeting new people. She walks nicely on leash, listens beautifully to both hand and voice cues, and always tries her best to please.Hope has blossomed into such a loving and special girl. She’s ready for a forever home that will embrace her playful spirit and continue showing her just how wonderful life can be.Please apply to adopt at: http://www.pawsgh.org
