Story
Hi my name is Essie! I am a black tri Australian Shepherd. I was born in Prosser Washington March 31, 2023. I live in Raymond WA now. I have lots of energy and I like to run and play. Ideally I think I need to live on a farm. I have seen them on t v and think I would do well. I like to herd the deer that come in our yard. I like to herd my people too. I am very loving and super mischievous. I love love treats. And I think that I should get to sit in your lap a lot. I like to snuggles and giving kisses. I am really smart. I like to play fetch. The one thing I don't like to do is ride in the car. I am working on that.

Story
Buddy is a 6-year old medium sized golden retriever mix. He's a moderate energy dog, crate trained, and has retained a puppy-look. He's okay at a dog park and takes a moment or two to acclimate before running off to sniff new friends. He knows basic obedience commands. He's definitely a cuddler and doesn't mind wearing a sweater in cold weather. Likes chew toys; favorite activity is sitting on the porch watching for squirrels that may visit; belly rubs, and really enjoys rides in the car. Snores occasionally and has plenty of vivid dreams.

Story
Max is a lovable energetic goofball. He is four years old and is house broken, knows commands sit, stay, lay down, paw/shake. He loves to play fetch and run. He is a great walking buddy and good guard dog who will alert you when someone is at the door. He loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Unfortunately he needs to be rehomed due to my pregnant (second) and I can no longer care for him the way he deserves . He is great with some dogs, cats, and older children. Max is looking for a home where he can run off his energy and then lay in a comfy dog bed or curled up on the couch next to someone who will scratch under his chin, somewhere he can be carefree and enjoy running and playing and lots of belly rubs.

Story
Leia is my best friend and my dream dog. Unfortunately she has become too unpredictable as to how shll react when were not around. Around our family she is the sweetest dog the LOVES all the attention. She loves to cuddle, play she knows tricks. She is crate trained and will return to her kennel upon a command and will come to you with a snap of a finger. She does have a weak stomach so if something doest sit right, she will vomit it up immediately. The reason shes needing away from our house is while we were gone on a longer vacation, she and her older but smaller brother got into a fight over her food in her kennel. She ended the fight fast causing us a large vet bill. The other dog is okay but it was a wake up call that it’s clear we cannot care for her any longer. Writing this breaks by heart because as I said, she is my. Best friend and I love her very much. But I have to get her in a single dog family as soon as I can. Rehoming fee is just so I know you are serious.

Story
We acquired Cosmo from Kitsap Humane Society when he was just 4 months old, and he is now 4 years old. We are looking for a family or individual who can provide him with the attention, love, and activity that he needs to thrive. Ideally, we hope to find a home where Cosmo will have plenty of space to run and play, perhaps with a family who enjoys outdoor activities or has experience with active breeds like border collies. Cosmo is an incredibly intelligent, energetic, and active dog. He thrives on mental and physical stimulation and enjoys activities such as playing, hiking, and learning new tricks. He has a natural exuberance and excitement when encountering new people or animals, but he settles down with time and patience. Despite dealing with anxiety, he is currently receiving treatment with fluoxetine, which helps him manage his emotions and remain calm in various situations. Despite his heightened energy levels and excitement, Cosmo has never displayed aggression towards others.

Story
Bernie is a neutered male who came to us at about 3 months old with his sister Dash. He lives outside and has his own house in a covered, weather-protected area next to the house. He's a happy, energetic guy who's smart, but a bit of a doofus. He loves to play tug-of-war but destroys soft toys immediately. He's a foody who'll work for treats. He's had no problems with adults and teens but has not been around children. He'll walk on a leash but needs work as he still pulls, he needs to know that you're in charge. We're rehoming because, in all of our attempts, we've not been able to keep him in the yard. He has a high prey drive and goes after small animals like cats and birds. He escaped and killed the neighbor's chickens. If given the opportunity, Bernie would make a great house dog.
