Story
Maisie is a husky shepard mix, she is good with kids, other dogs and people. Chases cats and chickens so needs supervision with small animals. Is prey driven. She likes to dig and is husky chatty. She is very smart and learns quickly. She is a calm dog once settled in, she loves to lay on couch and play with toys. She is food possessive so needs to be fed separately. She is a good girl and deserves a forever home where she is loved and given aditional training. Thank you for your consideration. She is 6 years old.

Story
Sweet and loving dog. Recently rescued but I just do not have the time she deserves. I am a single father, I work full time and I also attend college full time. She deserves more affection than I can give her with my busy schedule. She loves to play and run around in the yard. She is great with my son who is five years old. She was good around other dogs the couple times I tried it. The only reason I'm looking to re-home is that I feel awful she doesn't get the attention she deserves with my busy schedule.

Story
Meet Krabby Patty Secret Recipe (but let’s be real—KP if you’re short on time and long on love). At just 2 years old and a perfectly snack-sized 39.6 lbs, this brown-and-white pittie cutie is a sprightly little lady with big “main character energy.” She’s plucky, she’s cute, she’s energetic, and she is VERY into people and treats (in that order… or maybe the reverse, thank yewwww). KP is basically the secret sauce you didn’t know your life was missing—one wiggle and you’re hooked.KP considers herself a proud member (nay, chair member) of the Pretty Pittie Committee and takes her duties seriously: greeting humans, collecting pets, and ensuring all snacks are distributed fairly (to her). She’s affectionate, social, and gives off strong “tiny piglet trotting happily toward you” vibes at all times. We don’t yet know how she feels about other pups, so if you’ve got a potential furry sibling at home, we highly encourage a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone vibes—no secret formulas required. If you’re ready to unlock the Krabby Patty Secret Recipe to unconditional love, KP is ready to serve it up hot and fresh. The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Story
Meet Rip, a striking red and white Australian Cattle Dog weighing about 45 pounds and estimated to be around 2–3 years old. Rip is an active, intelligent guy who walks nicely on leash and truly shines when it’s time to play—especially if a tennis ball is involved! Fetch is his favorite game, and he’ll happily show off his athleticism and focus while chasing after it. Rip also loves attention from his people and enjoys being engaged, whether that’s playtime, training, or just hanging out together.Rip would do best in a home without small animals or livestock. He may do well with medium to large dogs given proper introductions, but he’d also be perfectly content as the only pet where he can soak up all the attention. True to his breed, Rip is loyal, energetic, and eager to bond with his person, making him a great match for an active home looking for a devoted companion. Story
From the Foster Home: A confident girl with a long, beautiful coat, a typical shepherd personality with lots of love to give. Emmie is around 7 years young - she is very young at heart. She`s affectionate, loyal, and self-assured, always interested and observing the world around her. She is thrilled about everything and is ALWAYS ready to go, don`t let her age fool ya. She is very strong and generally walks well on leash but she needs some work on containing her enthusiasm, which can also come out when she sees other dogs. She has the eagerness of a younger dog but because she is a bit older, so she needs an adopter who will care for all of her needs, including future ones. Emmie has lived with other dogs before and is living with two large males in her foster home. She is confident and playful, which not all dogs love, so she`ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to any new canine companions. Never has she growled or shown any aggression but she definitely lets other dogs know she is the queen. She has not been around cats. Emmie is so gentle when it comes to food. Some of it is because her teeth were not cared for, so she is slow and steady when it comes to eating. She is housebroken. does fantastic in her crate and does not have any separation anxiety but she will need her daily exercise. If you`re looking for a mature, loving companion who will go on any adventure and also chill out with you on the couch, she may be your perfect match. She`s ready to spend her golden years living life to the fullest and in a home where she can feel safe and appreciated for the wonderful dog she is.The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
Meet Evey, Chairwoman of the Pretty Pittie Committee and full-time Director of “What’s Everyone Doing and Why Am I Not Involved?” At 5 years old and a sturdy 70 lbs, this black-and-white cow-print cutie is friendly, confident, and very much here to supervise all activities. She’s a front-of-the-kennel gal who seeks the people, happily trotting into the office to sniff, investigate, and circle back for attention like it’s her job (because it is). Evey takes treats with absolute politeness, knows sit, shake, and lay down, and will gladly show off her résumé if snacks are involved. Evey is a curious little instigator—if there’s a noise, a conversation, or a mystery happening behind a door, she wants IN. She can be vocal and demanding when she feels left out, but once she’s getting pets and praise, the commentary turns right off. She’s social and generally friendly with passersby. Sometimes she needs a couple treats to win her over but we respect a girlie who knows what she wants. Bonus: she’s already spayed (tattoo spotted during an epic back-wiggle moment), enjoys belly rubs, and will absolutely flop over for pets. She came into the shelter with some skin issues so shes a little bit itchy right now, but our vert team has her treatments started and she`s responding well :). Evey is looking for a home that appreciates a dog with opinions, charm, and a strong desire to be part of the action—because behind every great household is an Evey making sure things run properly!
