Story
*D.O.B: 9-26-2018*Have you ever seen a more silly and beautiful husky? Doofy is ready to break free from the shelter and into a loving home of his own! Doofy was surrendered after his owner passed away and no one was able to care for him so they were going to euthanize him. We couldn't let that happen. Doofy is now neutered, has received all his vaccinations and is ready for a home! Doofy is your typical Husky and can be stubborn and is vocal! Doofy would do best in a home that doesn't have small pets! Doofy would love an active family that will provide him with all the enrichment a big husky needs. A fenced in yard will be needed for Doofy as he is a typical husky and likes to run! If you would like to meet Doofy please apply online at Eastshore Humane Association today!Applications can be found online at eastshoreha.org once your application is approved staff will contact you to arrange your own personal meet and greet! Please note we remain by appointment only at this time, please apply online or call the shelter prior to arriving! Thank you!

Story
*D.O.B: 9-26-2017*Krueger here would love to find a home to call his own! Krueger was dumped in the city limits of our shelter and brought in as a stray. Krueger came in under weight and we are working on packing on the lbs. Krueger is such a silly, loveable dog and quickly became a staff favorite! This guy loves to smile, really he has a great smile! He does love to bark so would not be suitable for apartment living. An ideal home would be someone who can take him on a daily walk and cuddle up at night after a long day to relax! Krueger is past his puppy stage and fully potty and kennel trained! If you would like to meet Krueger please apply online today at Eastshore Humane Association!Applications can be found online at eastshoreha.org please note we remain by appointment only at this time. Story
*D.O.B: 4-17-2021*We are accepting applications for Aurora. Aurora was surrendered due to her owner having her in an apartment he wasn't allowed pets in. Aurora came to us a year ago without much training. We have had a behaviorist come in to work with her and she has done well with all her training. Aurora knows some basic commands and is working on leash training. Aurora is an energetic girl who would do well in a home with a large fenced in yard, we are requiring this for a future adopter. Aurora loves to play fetch and loves to be outside. Aurora isn't a big fan of water but will sit out all day long if given the chance as long as it isn't raining! Aurora has done well with other big dogs but can play rough so a home with younger dogs would be best. Aurora has been in a foster home and did well however does chase livestock and cats so we would be recommending a home without cats or livestock animals! Aurora has been at the shelter for over a year and we would love to find her a deserving home. Aurora is a great dog and would make a great pet for anyone that has the time to work with her a bit! If you would like to meet Aurora please apply online at Eastshore Humane Association today!Applications can be found online at eastshoreha.org once your application has been approved staff will contact you to arrange a meet and greet. Please note we remain by appointment only at this time. Please apply online or call prior to arriving at the shelter. Thank you!

Story
*DOB: 5-8-18*Sergeant is a big guy! Coming in at a whopping 112lbs he is just full of love. His size and bark can be intimidating but we can assure you he's just a big cuddle bug! Sergeant knows a few basic commands such as sit and shake. He was found on the side of the road with a pile of food. In the short time that we have had Sergeant he has come a long way! He takes a bit to warm up to new people so he would **require multiple meet and greets.** Sergeant seems to prefer Women and is a little more cautious around Men. He is currently being treated for a skin infection but since he needs multiple meet and greets he should be good to go before you take him home! Sergeant is just looking for a home with endless love and unlimited tennis balls. If that home sounds like yours apply for sergeant online at eastshoreha.org!As of now we are by appointment only. Please apply online or call the shelter before coming. Once you submit your application one of our staff members will process it and reach out to you to schedule a meet and great. Please apply online at Eastshore Humane. Thanks!
