Hi - Baby here! I ended up at the shelter because my previous family didn't have enough time for me anymore. I'll be honest - shelter life is a little scary for me. When I'm in my kennel, my nerves get the best of me, and you might hear my very impressive, over-the-top bark letting everyone know I would very much like to be anywhere else. I consider it performance art. Once I'm out, though? Whole different dog. After a little time to warm up, I absolutely live up to my name. I'm sweet, affectionate, and much happier when I can be close to my people. I'm still young, so I get those fun bursts of energy, but I also know how to chill - if the couch is available, I'm open to negotiations. I've lived with other dogs before and did well with them, especially ones who understand good dog manners. Cats, however, are not on my list of approved roommates.
