Story
Hi, I’m Daisy Mae! I’m a shy girl who just needs a little time to figure out that I’m safe and loved. I came to the shelter because my previous home just wasn’t the right fit for me, and I can be a little timid when meeting new people and experiencing new things. Once I start to feel comfortable, I’m happy to accept treats and enjoy some gentle attention. I may take a little patience in the beginning, but I have so much potential to become a loyal and devoted companion for someone who is willing to let me come out of my shell at my own pace. I’m an active girl, too, so once I’m feeling confident, I bet my playful and energetic side will really shine! I could also do well with a friendly, confident dog who can help show me the ropes. Because I’m a timid girl, I’d do best in a home with older kids who can understand that I need some time to warm up. If you’re looking for a sweet girl who just needs someone to believe in her, I might be your girl! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 54.8 Age: 7yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
Hi, I'm Capri! I'll admit it... I have something to say about just about everything! I'm the vocal one of the family, and I'm never afraid to let everyone know what's on my mind. But underneath all that hound talk is an affectionate girl who loves spending time with her people. I grew up with many other Coonhounds and would love another dog friend in my new home. I'll need some patience and training as I settle into family life, but I'm eager to learn. I'd do best with sturdy kids who are excited to help me practice my manners and appreciate that sometimes I just have to sing the song of my people. If you're looking for a loving, entertaining companion, I might be the perfect fit. Primary Color: Red Weight: 79.4 Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Meet Ringo! Ringo is a 3-year-old dog who is incredibly loyal and affectionate with the people he knows and trusts. He knows basic commands including sit, stay, down, and come, and has excellent recall to his name. Ringo does have some behavioral challenges. He can be reactive toward strangers and occasionally toward familiar people, so he needs an experienced owner who understands dog body language and is committed to providing structure and consistency. He can be unpredictable at times, making him best suited for a calm home with low foot traffic and minimal stimulation. Ringo thrives when he has a routine and time to build trust. In the right environment, he is a loving, devoted companion who will form a strong bond with his family.

Story
Hi, I'm Buddy! I'm a shy boy at first, so I may need a little time to feel comfortable with you. I really do appreciate attention when it's given thoughtfully and at my own pace. Once I trust you, I think I'll be a very loyal and sweet companion for someone special. I'm a nice walking buddy and do well on leash. I'm not overly energetic, but I definitely have my moments when I'm ready to have a little fun! I've also lived with other dogs and did well with them, so I may enjoy having a canine friend in my new home. I could do well with respectful children who understand that I may need some time and patience while getting to know them. If you're willing to let me come out of my shell at my own pace, I think I could become a wonderful friend and loyal companion! Story
Hi, I'm Little Bear! I may seem a little shy when we first meet, but don't let that fool you. I just like to take my time getting to know new people and new places. Once I feel safe and comfortable, my playful, affectionate personality starts to shine. I'll need a patient family that will let me adjust at my own pace and won't rush the process. I'm a fun-loving, active guy who is always ready for my next adventure! Whether it's exploring a big yard, visiting the dog park, going for a car ride, or simply tagging along with my favorite people, I'm happiest when I'm out and about. I love to play, learn quickly, and enjoy being included in whatever my family is doing. My dream home would have lots of space for me to run and burn off my energy, whether that's a large fenced yard or a country home where I can stretch my legs. I'd do well with an active family that enjoys getting outside and taking me along on adventures. I also get along well with other dogs and cats, so I'd be happy to share my home with furry siblings. I could also do well with respectful children who are ready for a playful companion. Most importantly, I'm looking for people who understand that building trust takes time and are happy to let me settle in at my own pace. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little patience before showing you his wonderful personality, I can't wait to meet you! Story
Hi, I'm Tank! My family made the difficult decision to bring me to the shelter because life got busier, and they knew I deserved more time and attention than they could give. They say I'm just one big baby, and honestly... they're right! I can be a little shy when I meet new people. But give me a little patience and kindness, and before long I'll be your shadow! Once I know you're a friend, I'm all about soaking up attention and leaning into you for pets. I'm an active guy who enjoys long walks, playing tug, chewing on bones, and riding in the car. I also get along well with other dogs and have lived successfully with cats. I've even lived with kids and have been described as friendly and playful with them. Respectful kids would be preferred for me though since I can be a little unsure at first. Like many dogs, I prefer having my people around. Families with busy schedules or long work hours may not be the best fit for me. If you're looking for a goofy, affectionate best friend who will greet you with endless love and be by your side through every adventure, I think we'd make a pretty great team. I can't wait to meet you! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Black Weight: 47.8 Age: 3yrs 8mths 0wks
