Scooby made it safely to Wisconsin and is loving life in his foster home! This gentle senior may have reached his golden years, but don’t let that fool you — he’s still got plenty of spunk and joy left to share. Scooby enjoys short walks, soft beds, tasty treats, and spending time with his people. He’s a happy, easygoing guy who’s just thrilled to be part of a loving home again. At around 11 years old and weighing about 78 lbs, Scooby is best guessed to be a Boxer mix. He’s well-mannered, affectionate, and great with other dogs. He’s respectful, calm, and has settled beautifully into home life. He’s believed to be potty trained, keeps his space clean, and has shown no signs of being destructive. Scooby’s gentle nature and soulful eyes win everyone over instantly. While he’s content to nap the day away, he still has bursts of energy and playful moments that remind you just how much life and love he has left to give. Adopt a Pet from Mutt Life! Looking to add a furry friend to your family? At Mutt Life Rescue of Wisconsin, we have loving pets waiting for their forever homes. Explore our adoptable animals and find your perfect match today! For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Meet Dylan Dylan’s story is one of love, growth, and second chances. This 10-month-old Mastiff is currently in Northern Illinois and has been living with a wonderful family who gave her a chance, but they’ve realized she’s simply more puppy than their household can manage right now. With little kids and a senior dog with arthritis, Dylan’s big, playful personality just isn’t the right match — but that doesn’t take away from what an amazing girl she is. We are hoping to get Dylan into a foster home with Mutt Life Dog Rescue sometime this week (1/12/26). Dylan is a goofy, affectionate, super squishy-faced puppy who truly loves people. She is great with kids and adores them, but because she’s a happy, bouncy 70-lb puppy, she can accidentally knock over smaller children when she plays. She does well with other dogs and would thrive with a canine friend who enjoys playtime, but she’s not the best fit for senior dogs who prefer a calmer lifestyle. House trained and crate trained, Dylan already has a great foundation. She’s currently working on her leash manners and continues to improve every day. She’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find a home that can keep up with her joyful energy and help her continue learning. Dylan would be an excellent match for a family with older kids, an active adult household, or someone with another playful dog who can match her enthusiasm for fun. Age: 10 months Gender: Female (Spayed) Weight: 70 lbs Breed: Mastiff Spayed/Neutered: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Leash Manners: Needs work Good with Dogs: Yes (best with playful dogs) Good with Cats: Unsure Good with Kids: Yes (best with older kids) Dylan is a wonderful girl with a huge heart and so much love to give. She just needs the right environment to shine. Could that home be yours? For the latest updates on the mutts, follow us on Facebook: @muttlifewi Visit our website: Muttlife.org __________ Love Has Arrived in Wisconsin and Is Settling In Love came to Mutt Life Dog Rescue from a high-risk shelter in Arkansas, where she spent nearly her entire puppyhood after arriving at just around five weeks old. As part of the Packer Litter of five, Love waited months for her chance to leave the shelter behind. She has now safely arrived in Wisconsin and is settling nicely into her foster home. Meet Love Love is a tricolor Lab mix with a heart as big as her name. She is approximately seven months old and weighs around 35–40 pounds. Despite her rough beginning, Love is sweet, friendly, and affectionate. She is dog friendly and kid friendly. While she has not been cat tested, she is still young and would likely do well with cats given proper introductions. Having grown up in a shelter environment, Love is just beginning to learn the basics of home life. She will need continued help with potty training, crate training, and leash manners. Love is eager to learn and will thrive in a home that can provide patience, consistency, structure, and plenty of love. 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫: 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 is doing great. She is careful with new things and grows more confident every day. She’s a sweetheart who loves to snuggle or simply sit by your side. Very loyal and attentive, she comes when called and even offers a paw sometimes. She listens well to basic commands and is doing wonderfully with potty training. Love does great in her kennel and has the cutest habit of gathering her toys into one little pile maybe a huddle Age: Approximately 7 months Gender: Female Weight: Approximately 35–40 lbs Breed: Lab mix Spayed/Neutered: Not yet Potty Trained: almost potty trained. She lets you know when she needs to go out Crate Trained: Not yet Leash Manners: Needs work Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Not tested (likely fine) Good with Kids: Yes Now safe in Wisconsin, Love is ready for a foster or forever home where she can finally relax, learn, and just be a puppy. She will need a foster or adopter commitment to secure her spot on transport. Meet Delilah Delilah is an approximately 5-month-old puppy weighing about 30 lbs and is one of three female siblings who were dumped on an elderly couple and kept outdoors until a recent winter storm. The couple was going to take them to the vet to be euthanized, but our rescue partners stepped in just in time to bring the girls to safety. Delilah is very smart and doing great in foster care. She already knows sit, walks well on leash for a puppy, and is doing well with potty training using puppy pads and learning to go outside. She is sweet, gentle, and eager to please. Delilah would do well in a home ready to continue her training and give her the love and stability every puppy deserves. To make that transport, Fred must have a foster or adopter commitment in place. Without one, he won’t be able to take his spot on the transport. Meet Fredrick (Fred) Fredrick is a 2-year-old, approximately 45-pound Basset Hound/Beagle mix (best guess) with a short, sturdy build and classic low-rider legs. He has done very well in a foster home and is ready for his next placement. Fred is friendly, people-oriented, and enjoys being indoors, especially when it means attention and a comfortable environment. He loves spending time with his people and has even enjoyed playing outside in the snow with his foster sibling. He is potty trained and crate trained, and while he is still working on leash manners, he continues to make steady progress. Fred does well with other dogs and is especially good with kids. Though his photos don’t always show it, he is on the shorter side with a solid, compact build. Fred recently finished his heartworm treatment and is now ready to travel. A committed home is required for their ride to WI, and we’re hopeful the right people are out there. Meet the Gem Litter These little gems include three sisters, Pearl, Ruby, and Sapphire, and three brothers, Emerald, Amethyst, and Garnet. They are tiny heeler puppies, currently around 5–6 weeks old and weighing just 3–4 pounds. Despite their small size, they have big personalities and are full of typical puppy energy and curiosity. The Gem Litter came into the shelter after being dumped and are now in the kill shelter system. They’ve been given a second chance and are ready to start fresh with families who can help them grow, learn, and thrive. All six puppies are friendly, playful, and social. They do well with dogs, cats, and kids, and enjoy interacting with people. Expect normal puppy behavior — lots of wiggles, curiosity, and a little sass mixed with plenty of sweetness. They are currently working on potty training and crate training and are doing well for their age. They are not leash trained yet, as they are still very young and itty bitty, but they are eager learners and will benefit from continued positive training and routine. They will be available starting Saturday, 2/14/26.
