Story
Meet Wyatt This adorable 8-month-old pup is a total sweetheart and loves being around people, especially cuddling up for a cozy movie night. At just 22 lbs, Wyatt is the perfect size for snuggling in your lap. He's great with kids, enjoys playtime at the dog park, and gets along well with other dogs with a proper introduction. Wyatt is a Velcro dog who wants to be by your side always. Although a bit nervous in new surroundings, he's working on building his confidence through desensitization and basic obedience training. Because Wyatt is not a fan of his crate, he would love a mommy or daddy who works from home or is a stay-at-home parent so he doesn’t have to be in his crate for long periods of time. If you're looking for a furry friend who will bring love and laughter into your life, look no further than Wyatt! He can't wait to find his forever home and start his new adventure with you. Please consider giving him a chance today I promise to bring you endless amounts of love, laughter, and puppy kisses! -Wyatt

$100 OFF ADOPTION FEE!! Meet Mercy! 9 months old and 25 lbs of pure love and cuddles! Foster mom says Shes a mellow girl with a sassy twist when her puppy spirit kicks in. She’s her shadow, always by her side, even if it means joining in on bathroom breaks! Mercy is the ultimate snuggle buddy - nap time or bedtime, she’ll be as close to you as possible, even if that means laying right on top of you. A little shy at first, but once she warm up to you, she’s the most loyal friend you'll ever have. She loves playing with other dogs and kids. Working hard on her puppy manners and potty training, she may need some extra encouragement, but she’s making progress! Crate training is a work in progress too, but she’s learning that it can be her safe space. Mercy is looking for a forever friend and cuddle buddy! Mercy is up to date on vaccines, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, is microchipped and spayed. ***Please note*** The breeds listed are our best guess based on appearance and size. Story
Meet Maverick! This adorable 4.5-month-old puppy weighs just 9 lbs and is as sweet as can be. With a mama who is only 33 lbs, it looks like Maverick won't be a very big boy. He loves snuggling in soft blankets, playing with other dogs, and adores kids of all ages. He lives with 3 feline friends and does pretty well with them for the most part, but does need reminders from time to time to be gentle. Maverick is friendly, spunky, and has a heart of gold. Plus, he's doing fantastic with potty training - only one accident since he arrived! He's working on his puppy manner and has already mastered sit, down and paw. He is also a good boy in his crate at night and when his foster family is away. If you're looking for a furry friend who will bring joy and love into your life, Maverick is the perfect match. Once you meet him, he’ll your heart melt!. Maverick is still a puppy and does need patient reinforcement to continue to perfect his manners. Maverick’s new family should be committed to taking the time and having the patience to teach him to be the best boy he can be. Wag N’ Purr Animal Rescue is now offering a $50 reimbursement for any pet adopted from us after January 1, 2025 that has completed a professional basic training course. We feel so strongly about the benefits of professional dog training, that we’ll pay you to do it! Maverick is up to date on vaccines, flea/tick and heart worm prevention, is microchipped and his neuter is included in his adoption fee. ***Note*** Unless otherwise stated, the breed listed is our best guess based on the dog’s appearance. We typically do not know an exact breed.
