Story
Check out our Facebook page and YouTube channel for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 7/17/2024   Dog Name: Ezra Sex: Male (Neutered) Estimated Breed Mix: Shepherd Approximate DOB: January 15, 2023 Approximate Weight: 70 lbs. This is Ezra. He is a very friendly, energetic and lovable Shepard mix, He's usually a little shy when he first meets someone. However, give him a few minutes, and suddenly he's your best friend. Ezra enjoys being active with his human. He enjoys going for walks/runs, playing catch, swimming, playing with other dogs and just running around in the backyard. He also enjoys relaxing with his humans during the evenings. He is housebroken, and is very good about letting us know when he needs to go outside. When he needs to go outside, rather than barking, he will knock on the patio door with his paw. He does the same when he is outside and wants to come in. Ezra has a lot of energy, so, the ideal furever home would be one that has a large back yard for him to run around in, and explore. Ezra loves going on walks too. He enjoys meeting up with other people and dogs in the neighborhood. He is friendly with everyone he meets, both adults and children. If it's storming outside, then his next favorite alternative is a trip to Blain's Farm & Fleet (or other dog friendly store) to walk around, meet people and get treats. He gets along great with other dogs as well. Although, he doesn't care much for cats. He currently lives with another smaller dog in our home, and they both get along, and like to play together. However, I think he would be most happy being the only dog in the family, getting all of the attention. Ezra really enjoys the water. He had an opportunity to go swimming in a lake, up north. At first he enjoyed just splashing around in the shallow water. But then when he went to fetch a stick off the end of a pier, his swimming instinct kicked in, and he found swimming to be fun as well.   Adoption Fee: $350We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . Bud and Miller look like Shepherd, Stella and Shiner look a bit golden retriever, and Amber and Ale look like they could have some Doberman in them. Approximate Age: 9 weeks Approximate Weight: 7 lbs Litter: 6 Pack Description: Ale and her 5 siblings were dumped in a cotton field. They are lucky enough that the farmer who found them has a good heart, unfortunately most dogs and cats dumped in farming fields are lost to wildlife or euthanized on the spot. This litter is so fun and sweet, they love to cuddle and are adorable! This little six pack was lucky to find a temporary Texas rescue and foster. Now that they're in WI, they've been spending a lot of time surrounded by children and other dogs. They've been doing wonderfully! Is Ale the right addition to your home?
