Story
𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: SPARKLE SPARKLE is a 2-year-old altered female Lab, she is 31 lbs and heartworm negative. Sparkle is a wonderful pup who gets along with all the dogs she meets and is good with kids and cats. She was returned after being adopted for a year. She was returned because she has a separation anxiety and will chew up stuff in her crate and try to get out of it while you are gone. she would be best with someone who is home often or is able to let her free roam the house while gone. She's spent way too much of her life in a shelter and deserves t o be loved by a family. She has lots of love and affection to give! She is house-trained and walks well on the leash. A petite girl at only 31 lbs, she is fun size! An overall good girl who needs a second chance! She is currently kenneled with another dog with no issues. -------------- SPARKLE is currently in a high-kill shelter in Georgia and urgently needs our help! She needs an ADOPTER or a temporary FOSTER home so she can catch a ride with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin on Saturday, February 15th, 2025. If nobody steps up for her, SPARKLE will be left behind in the shelter, and we don't want her to miss this important chance for a better life. Let's come together to give her the future he deserves! —--------------------------- Thank you for considering adopting from Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. Story
𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: SUGAR She is an awesome pup and does really well with other dogs and ADORES small children! She unfortunately found herself at a high kill shelter in Georgia through no fault of her own. Since coming to the shelter, she has shown how awesome of a pup she is and is a staff favorite, playgroup rockstar, and is even the chosen temperament testing dog for new intakes. She gets along with everyone she meets and does not know any strangers! She was found as a stray on the side of the road and was brought in to the animal control. She is the sweetest pup, always wagging when you walk by her kennel and gives you kisses if you pet her through the door. She LOVES kids, you can tell she had a family of her own at some point. She also gets along great with other dogs. She is okay with cats, but does like to try to play with them and sometimes forgets how strong she is. She is a lovely girl and would be great for a family dog or someone who wants a playful and energetic dog! She just made her way up to Cedarburg, Wisconsin with Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin and is currently in a foster home learning how to live in a house! She is working on potty training, crate training, manners, and basic commands. She is a big, sweet, loving puppy who was never taught anything in her younger years so she is playing catch up. She just needs some time and consistency and will be an awesome dog for someone! —--------------------------- Thank you for considering adopting from Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin. Story
𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑴𝒖𝒕𝒕: KAREN Altered Heartworm Negative Name: Karen Breed: Terrier Mix Sex: Female Age: 1-2 years Weight: 31 currently (35-40 ideal) Hi, I’m Karen. I know I’m not the easiest to notice, but if you give me a chance, I promise I’ll show you how much love I have to give. I spent most of my life in a tough situation, chained up with a heavy chain that was just as big as me. When I was rescued, I was really skinny, and my ribs were showing, but I’m getting stronger every day and filling out nicely. I’m still learning to trust people, but I’m gentle and calm. I really thrive when I’m around other dogs—they make me feel safe and happy. I’m submissive with other dogs and love being part of a pack. I also really like kids! Their gentle touch makes me feel warm and loved. I know I have so much potential, and with a little patience, I can be the best companion. I just need a family who understands that trust takes time and who will help me learn how to be the confident, loving dog I know I can be. Could you be that family? I’d love to meet you! ------------------------ She just arrived to Cedarburg, Wisconsin on Friday, January 10th and is doing amazing in her new foster home. She is a super affectionate and loving girl. She is working on potty training since most of her life so far she has lived outside chained to a tree. Therefore, she will take a bit to learn all the manners of living in a home, but she is doing super well! She just wants to please and make her humans happy! She loves other dogs and gets along with everyone. She absolutely LOVES kids. The child at her previous home was probably the only one who was ever nice to her so she adores any attention from children that she can get. From her Wisconsin Foster: Karen is a super sweet and affectionate girl! She loves attention from her humans and also loves to play with other dogs. She is working on potty training and is already crate trained which is a plus. She was very tolerant with her bath to get the shelter stink off. A very nice girl and LOVES kids. We would like to adopt Karen and Vivian together since they are very comfortable and have been together, but would also consider adopting separate! —--------------------------- Thank you for considering adopting from Mutt Life Dog Rescue of Wisconsin.
