Tempo is a 2-year-old Husky mix and a sweet, sensitive guy. At 62 lbs, he has a gentle heart, a curious mind, and a playful streak that comes out once he feels safe. He can be shy at first and prefers slow, respectful introductions, but give him a little time and he’ll happily follow you around the house, lean in for pets, and invite you to play—sometimes by dramatically forcing his face into your arms or chasing his own tail for laughs. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and generally well-behaved, though he can get into mischief like exploring the trash if left alone too long. Tempo has some mild separation anxiety and benefits from being crated when left alone.His favorite toy is a tennis ball that he chews on and chases. Tempo loves being outside and going for walks, and he does best with regular exercise to keep his body and brain happy. Wiki is a 6-month-old female Shepherd mix and a shy, gentle puppy. She is still learning that the world, and humans, can be safe and kind. At 25 lbs with a full-body wiggle butt, she’s impossible not to smile at!Wiki didn’t have much human contact early in life, so she’s nervous when meeting people and takes time to warm up. Once she feels safe, though, she’ll quietly ask for pets, lick your hand, or eventually LEAP into bed to snuggle up close! She truly blossoms with patience, consistency, and love.She is about 85% potty trained and uses the dog door well, though she may have occasional accidents when she feels nervous. Wiki is fully crate trained and does excellent in her kennel, it’s her safe space and where she goes when she needs comfort. She loves toys, follows her resident dog closely (especially on leash), and learns a lot by watching the other dogs around her. Wiki does great in a busy foster home with multiple dogs. With cats, she has met dog-savvy cats and was nervous, but overall fine. She takes a little longer to warm up to children, but has met kids ages 6-13.She has normal puppy energy and loves toys! But be prepared—she will show her appreciation through lots of kisses.Mayberry is house-trained and crate-trained, sleeping in her crate at night and when home alone. She isn't too much of a barker, and when lounging around or in the kennel, Mayberry will chew on hard bones for hours. She is cautious around strangers and takes a little bit to warm up to you. But once she gets to know you, she'll be stuck on you like glue.In her future home, Mayberry will need a a family who does not have other pets. Milo was adopted from ARM as a young puppy back in 2018 as part of a litter of Aussie mixes. He has been well loved by his family for almost 7 years now and they are very sad to say he is looking for a new home as he has become stressed around the young toddler in the home and should not be in a home with children under 5. Milo is a very loving and loyal dog to his humans, loves to be pet, and greets everyone with excitement. Milo is a healthy Aussie mix (They are German Shepherd, Cattle Dog, Catahoula Leopard Dog, and finally a little Aussie.) weighing about 75 lbs. He suffered dual broken legs back in 2019 when he ran in front of a vehicle. His injuries healed well with surgery, only showing a slight limp temporarily if he lays in an awkward position for a period of time. As he ages, Milo may need care and monitoring for any issues with the screws in his hip bones and may develop arthritis. At current, he does not have any restrictions for activities and has been healthy and happy ever since. Milo does well with a female dog in the home that he has been with since a puppy and enjoys playing with other dogs outside. He does have a tendency to show resource guarding with other dogs when around food, vying for attention from preferred humans, or in indoor spaces, so he may be best as the only dog or with a female dog. Milo is house trained and does well in a crate. He currently lives in a home that has invisible fencing and does well. He also generally does well off leash and has reliable recall with those he's familiar with. He walks well on a leash. Milo is currently being fostered by his owner in the southern suburbs of the Twin Cities. The details: Need fence: Currently lives with invisible fencing, can be off lead on acreage. Will need some kind of fence in a neighborhood, but likely not needed if on acreage Good with dogs: Does have resource guarding tendencies, may be best as an only dog or with a female dog Good with cats: No known exposure Good with children: Not good with children younger than 5 years old All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers.
