All transportation fees are already included in the adoption fees.*** Gidget Joy (Gigi) is a 1 year old playful, friendly, gentle, athletic young dog with lots of energy! She is a perfect mix - we believe she has some retriever, some Pyrenees and perhaps even some hound! She is a sweet, affectionate, and goofy little pup! She is always ready for a game of throw or an exciting walk. Gigi is a great companion for active people who love the outdoors. She is super friendly and will walk right up to you and say hi! She will be your best friend in no time, and she gets along great with other dogs! She is crate-trained and house-broken. She is a very loving dog and will make a great addition to your family. We know you'll love her as much as we do! Gigi was dumped by her former owner, and the kind folks that found her brought her to FWFP for a new beginning! We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions finding our fur babies the most loving homes. Please do not apply if you are not serious about adopting. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age-appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention, and travel expenses. All our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for their transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. ✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK & EWR💟 Meet Yeoreum💕 (her name means “Summer” in Korean) 1.) Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped and hearworm negative. 2.) Rescue Story * Yeoreum is one of the dogs that the Adogs team rescued from a dogslaughter farm in 2022. Spending a long time there, she was about to be put down, but Adogs was able to rescue her just in the nick of time. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Has a calm and timid personality and is slow to adapt to new environments. When strangers approach her, she tends to avoid them and leaves the area. Previously, she had to be cornered for touching to be possible, but has recently become more comfortable with pets. Still, she doesn’t stay still and tries to get away if strangers pick her up. She also runs away from familiar people, but she can be leashed and touched when cornered. You accepts treats if you drop it on the ground. * With Dogs: If a new dog approaches too closely or annoys her, she growls to express her displeasure. Prefers to nap indoors rather than play outside with other dogs. * With Cats: Shows no reaction to cats she encounters during walks and focuses on the person walking with her. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet since she lives communally with other dogs at our center. May need training in a home environment. * Potty Training: Unknown, since she lives communally at our center. * Walks: Runs away and avoids the leash, but once the leash is actually on, she follows her handler well on walks. * Car Sickness: Does not show any symptoms of motion sickness during short distances, like when going to the veterinary clinic. Unclear how she would do on long-distance trips. * Biting: When another dog suddenly approaches and gets too pushy, she growls to tell them to stop. * Dislikes: Gets surprised and runs away when people approach, but accepts pets nicely when you actually manage to touch her. * Likes: Although she has a strong appetite and enjoys food, she did not show any resource guarding or aggression when trying to take away her food. * As she has had extended kennel training, she is able to handle long periods of crating, such as if she goes on an airplane or on a long drive.

Halo was rescued back in Oklahoma last year. When I rescued him and took him to the vet to get checked out and his shots, they told me he was about a few months so he’s a little over one years old now. I have a new job that’s extremely busy and time consuming so it has become very difficult financially and time managing wise to be there for him like i feel he deserves. I know there’s someone out there that would fully invest their time into giving him the love he deserves. He’s a very sweet dog, he’s never been aggressive since day one. He warms up quickly. Nyx is looking for a new place to call home. She's a 9 month, 42 pound, great pyreneese/siberian husky mix. This young girl is an energetic love bug. She loves to play hard and then wind down with some serious snuggle time. She's a sweet, non-aggressive pup who is also very smart. She already knows the commands for sit, paw, down, roll over, come and stay! She's still working on house-training and leash walking but she is food motivated which makes training much easier. With a little love and patience she's sure to pick those skills up in no time. She loves to play with other dogs and her ideal home would be one with another energetic pup who would enjoy being her playmate. She is a little bit timid when first meeting new people but warms up within a few minutes. She's good with kids but should be supervised as she sometimes will jump up with excitement. A nice fenced in backyard would be perfect for her. Personality: energetic, sweet, cuddly, smart Good with: people of all ages (including kids - but should be supervised since she does jump when excited), and dogs. Was good with cats when she was being fostered.
