Story
Moby is about 3-4 year old Great Pyrenees who has known extreme hardship in his short life. Moby came to one of our partner shelters as a forced surrender after his owners were reported to authorities. When Animal Control arrived, to check on Moby, they were horrified by what they found. He was severely emaciated, completely matted, and in heartbreaking condition. His hip bones protruded, every rib could be felt, and it was clear that he had been horribly neglected. But despite everything he has been through, Moby is still incredibly sweet. He is going to need some time to recover both physically and emotionally. After living such an awful life, it is certainly understandable that Moby is feeling a little insecure. His favorite place in the world is right next to his people. He wants to be close, to know where you are, and to feel safe. And if you stop petting him? Be ready for the Pyr Paw as a reminder to keep on petting. Moby is good with kids and other dogs, and is just looking for the security of a loving home. His road to recovery will take kindness and patience, but in the end you will have a loving and loyal companion. If you are interested in Moby, please complete an application at www.realdogrescue.org/adopt.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate.Meet Yeoreum💕 (her name means “Summer” in Korean)💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_1.) Health Condition Spayed. Microchipped, and heartworm negative2.) Rescue Story Yeoreum had spent a long time in a raised wire cage at a dog meat farm and was on the brink of slaughter when Adogs arrived. Fortunately, she was rescued just in time.3.) Basic Information With People: Takes her time adjusting to new environments and is slowly opening her heart. Shows curiosity toward strangers by sniffing them and wiggles her tail happily when she sees familiar faces. While she may try to retreat when startled by touch, she calmly accepts it once it happens. During walks, she comfortably enjoys petting from people she trusts. With Dogs: Generally plays well with other dogs, but will growl or show her teeth if another dog is too pushy or if she wants to rest alone. Caution is needed as she may snap at other dogs in these situations. With Cats: Does not react to cats during walks and remains calmly focused on her handler. Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently living in a group at our center, this is unknown. Potty Training: Currently relieves herself outdoors at our center. Re-training may be necessary in a new environment. Hygiene: Might try to dodge the brush initially inside her kennel, but soon settles down. In open play areas, she tends to run away from grooming. However, she is very well-behaved during baths. Walks: May try to avoid the leash in the playground, but waits calmly in her kennel and walks very well once outside! Car Sickness: No motion sickness observed during short trips (e.g., to the vet). Long-distance travel experience is limited and would need monitoring. May growl when other dogs are too assertive or when she wants to be left alone, so supervision is required. Has a great appetite and loves food! Also enjoys resting peacefully indoors by herself. Thanks to extensive kennel training, she can handle long periods in a crate, making her a great candidate for flight travel. May get startled and run away if a person approaches too suddenly, but she stays calm once they begin petting her. * Is a calm girl with a moderate energy level. While she is a bit shy around humans, she is a bright and lovely dog who truly enjoys her walks and treats.

Story
Meet Miss Lady Miss Lady has this whole “adulting” thing figured out. She’s crate trained, housebroken, walks beautifully on a leash, sleeps through the night, and generally asks very little of her people. She’s low to medium energy, low maintenance, and would much rather enjoy a peaceful life than participate in unnecessary chaos. Basically, she’s the dog equivalent of someone who pays her bills on time and avoids drama. Before coming to New Jersey, Miss Lady lived in a Texas foster home where she had the luxury of roaming a farm with about 30 other dogs. Leashes weren’t really necessary when you had acres to explore and an entire canine neighborhood! Now she’s adjusting to suburban New Jersey life — a smaller backyard, a new routine, and a foster brother whose preferred method of friendship is enthusiastic, high-energy, and very much IN YOUR FACE. Miss Lady is handling it like a lady. She and her foster brother do wonderfully together on walks, and they’re taking their time getting to know one another inside the house and in the backyard. And that brings us to the most important thing we’ve learned about Miss Lady: patience is the key to her heart. She’s an introvert at heart and doesn’t need — or want — to rush into relationships with people or other dogs. Give her the time and space to figure things out on her own terms, and she does beautifully. Her ideal home will understand that she likes having her own little “Zen zone” where she can retreat when she’s had enough socializing. Frankly, we can relate. At night, she happily sleeps gated in her own room and doesn’t make a peep. She’s even joined her foster mom at the “office” while she works from home and has proven herself to be an excellent coworker: quiet, respectful, and never once needing to be muted during a Zoom call. Miss Lady isn’t looking to be the life of the party. She’s looking for people who appreciate a sweet, easygoing girl, will let her settle in at her own pace, and understand that sometimes the best relationships aren’t instant — they’re the ones that are allowed to grow. Give this Lady a little patience, a little space, and a Zen zone of her own, and we think she’ll make a pretty wonderful addition to the right home. ❤️ If you've always wanted to have a Great Pyrenees in your family, just fill out an application at www.northstarpets.org and ask to meet this sweet and gentle gal! The adoption fee for Ms. Lady will be $425.  September 9, 2026, 2:10 pm

Story
DOB 2-14-2021 Angie's first years were hell and it was a miracle she got out alive. Just the way it is for too many dogs and those that don't get a miracle. Angie was spotted in the woods in rural Arkansas, it took about a week before we could secure her. She was nothing but bones, bred to death and almost dead. Her first visit to the vet told us she was about 5 years old, 40 or more pounds under weight and heart worm positive. Angie slept and ate till she was strong enough to be spayed and start her heart worm treatment. That is now a year behind us, this healthy, happy. gorgeous girt is ready to find her home. Angie walks on a leash, is crate trained, loads in the Tahoe and loves everyone. Angie wants some people to love and want her this time around! Her adoption fee is 450.00 she will come with all medical records, health certificate and physical. Her transport fee is 165.00 The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. After you submit your application please allow a few days to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We do look for the best home that fits each of our pets, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved we with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the pet you are interested in.Together we can decide if this is the best choice for both.
