Story
Jumping Jack Junior is a dog with a huge smile and the most handsome good looks ever.   He is a Golden/Great Pyr mix that is only one year old and weighs 61 pounds.  We are guessing his breed but he seems more Golden in size and then more Great Pyr in appearance.  This boy is joyous and couldn't be more of a free spirit and  with an inviting personality to come and play with him and let him love your family.  Junior found himself in a Texas shelter because his owner was evicted from her home.  The two small 15 pound dogs living there with Junior, also lost their home and are in the shelter.  Junior has been a great big brother to these small dogs and he is most certainly now willing and able to be a friend to other small dogs and animals if needed.  He has no aggression in his soul and he is NOT reactive to any new encounters with other dogs when on a leash.  He is passive and fun loving and adores meeting new people to become his friend.  He is leash trained and housebroken and just one of those gorgeous A+++ dogs that you really need to consider taking home if you like the bigger than life luxurious dogs.  He is a Jumping Jack Prince of a dog.... Junior promises to be one of your best decision when adopting a dog to be by your side for the next 15 years.  If you are interested please don't hesitate and contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We can adopt him to Tennessee residents and also can transport him to northeastern families.  Just mention when you live when inquiring and asking for an application.    PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 19, 2025, 1:16 pm

Story
We got a call from a friend of the rescue. She was on her way home from work when she found a litter of puppies that had been dumped on her road. She called us and we immediately headed that way to round them up. By the time we got there it was dark. We managed to round up 6 of them but the next day a neighbor found one more. We searched all day to see if there were any more but we couldn't find anyone left. The day after they all arrived, they began to get sick one by one. We quickly started medication and fluids and within a couple of days they were all healed and happy! As of November 1st, our vet estimated them to be approximately 3 months. We believe the daddy is a Great Pyrenees as there was an intact male living on the same street where they were found. It looks like mama could be a hound dog, just a guess! Either way, they are adorable! They will be getting spayed and neutered shortly and will be available for transport just in time for Christmas! WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND TRANSPORT ALL PETS TO YOUR AREA! ADOPTION FEE $650

Story
Nyx is looking for a new place to call home.  She's a 9 month, 42 pound, great pyreneese/siberian husky mix.   This young girl is an energetic love bug.  She loves to play hard and then wind down with some serious snuggle time.  She's a sweet, non-aggressive pup who is also very smart. She already knows the commands for sit, paw, down, roll over, come and stay!  She's still working on house-training and leash walking but she is food motivated which makes training much easier.  With a little love and patience she's sure to pick those skills up in no time. She loves to play with other dogs and her ideal home would be one with another energetic pup who would enjoy being her playmate.  She is a little bit timid when first meeting new people but warms up within a few minutes.  She's good with kids but should be supervised as she sometimes will jump up with excitement.  A nice fenced in backyard would be perfect for her.  Personality: energetic, sweet, cuddly, smart Good with: people of all ages (including kids - but should be supervised since she does jump when excited), and dogs.  Was good with cats when she was being fostered. Training: knows several commands (sit, paw, down, roll over, come, stay); needs some work on housetraining and leash walking Estimated date of birth: Mar 2025 Weight: 42 pounds Medical: vetted, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped Location: Currently located in NJ, and once you are approved to adopt, is available for a meet and greet. Story
We gave this gem of a girl the name of Pearl - pearl because she is precious, even though her former owner didn't think so.  Pearl and her brother (already adopted) were left behind by their owner when they moved.  They were just discarded and left to fend for themselves after being used to having a family.  It's still hard for us to understand why people would do this.   Luckily we were able to find Pearl and a wonderful temporary foster. Pearl is a pyrenees mix who the vet estimates to be about 5 years old.  She weighs 53 pounds.  Pearl has received her vaccinations and has tested negative for heartworm.  She was treated for anaplasmosis and has been spayed.  The vet trimmed her toenails while she was under sedation (for the spay).  Poor girl - they had grown so long that they deeply embedded themselves into her paw pads.  But she's all healed now.   Now that she is receiving proper care and attention we just need to find her a forever home.  She is described as being a calm, super sweet, wonderful, and friendly girl.  Is your household looking for a precious gem like Pearl?  If yes, please apply to give her a happy, loving home. Personality: calm, sweet, friendly, affectionate Good with: people of all ages (including kids), and dogs (submissive to other dogs).  Has not been cat tested yet. Estimated date of birth: July 2020 Weight: 53 pounds Medical: vetted, up to date on vaccinations, spayed, microchipped Location: Currently located with a foster in Texas, but if adopted, will come to the NJ area on our next transport.  For more videos of Pearl, check out her YouTube playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmB5-2QLmiJOxvWvcslGBNhxEYhniBG9o If you have any questions please email: friendsforlifeanimalrescue@gmail.com To apply to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/210286667669167 We always need fosters, please join us!  https://form.jotform.com/210257395409155 Many other dogs need our help, please consider donating or sponsoring a dog, if possible. 100% of all money received from adoption fees and donations goes directly back to support saving other dogs and cats in need.  FFLAR is a 501c(3) non-profit.   We appreciate your support! Story
This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 110 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up-to-date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides. Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet! If you would like to be Charlie’s forever family please email dogs4mylife@ gmail.com or olmc7@ hotmail.com. If you are inquiring from a Gmail address. It is best to use our Gmail address or you might have to look for us in your spam.
