Medium-sized at about 53 pounds, he’s an athletic and affectionate companion who loves to be outside, explore new scents, and play in the leaves. Oscar is smart, eager to please, and bonds deeply with his people. He thrives on routine, gentle guidance, and positive reinforcement. Once he trusts you, he’s incredibly loyal and will happily curl up near you after a good walk or play session. Oscar has been working with a veterinary behaviorist for anxiety and fear-based behaviors. Now weighing about 25 pounds (as of 4/3), he’s growing into the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and cuddly companion. This lovable boy enjoys spending time outside and has been exploring the yard on leash — he absolutely loves being outdoors! He’s playful and happy to entertain himself, but when he’s tired, his favorite place is curled up in a lap or resting by your feet, soaking up all the snuggles he can get. He’s truly a “lovable mush” at heart. Barnadine loves everybody he meets and brings a gentle, easygoing energy wherever he goes.
