Story
Benny is a sweet, loyal 6 year old hound mix. He is very smart and loves puzzles and using his nose! He would thrive in a rural environment where he can explore nature and bond with one or two experienced adults. Benny has some anxiety and behavior issues surrounding resource guarding and biting. He is afraid of things that beep, loud radiators, and thunder storms. Benny would do best in a home where he is the only pet and there are no young children present. He does give warning signs (subtle) when he is uncomfortable and needs space. His ideal human would be experienced and understand how he communicates. He is very quick to bond with his human and would make a great companion for the right person!

Story
Darling Daisy is just that--a super sweet and loving 7 year old girl.  We think she is a hound mix of some sort but are not really sure.  Daisy was rescued in Memphis and had a great life with her mom and two doggie brothers.  Two older kitties completed the family.  Poor Daisy's life was turned upside down when her mom had to go into assisted living and none of the furry family members could go.  Thankfully for Daisy and her 4 legged siblings, their mom's sister is a close friend of Miss Vivienne.  After a few calls, the 3 dogs had a place to go and so did the cats.  Now Daisy is in a great foster home in Nashville learning what life is like in another home.  It took a little while but she is now settling in.  She is a very sweet girl and she loves her foster mom.  Daisy loves her daily walks and she loves to snuggle.  If you are on the sofa or in a big chair, scoot over to make room for her.  Get ready to scoot over at night and make room for Daisy there too.  You will love this great girl.  Daisy and her older doggie brother walk together once a week.  They are so excited to see each other.  For this reason we feel that Daisy would do MUCH better in a home with another dog.  Her other brother is about 25 lbs so she would be happy with a bigger or smaller buddy.  She just needs a buddy.  Daisy rides great in the car and is good on a leash.  If you would like to offer a loving home to a dog who will return that 10 fold, then Daisy is the one for you.  Daisy is spayed, current on all her shots, heartworm negative and microchipped.  To be considered for her forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Daisy is currently in Nashville but can be transported north upon adoption.)November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
My name is Robbie and I am puppy at heart and only 6 months old.  My pictures make me look big but ready I am not big at all. I only weigh 35 pounds at 6 months and they say I will be 65-70- pounds as an adult.  I LUV KIDS!   My heart leaps for joy when I See children that I can play with and love on.  I am a boy that loves to run fast and for a little bit of time too.  I need not only physical Exercise but also some fun games and training games to help my smart brain feel challenged too.  I need a fenced yard and someone To help share playtime and games with me sometimes.  I could use the company of another dog as well to help me with the physical Playtime outside and also to keep me active with socialization with other dogs.   We think that Robbie has some Pointer in him since He raises once leg and seems to point quite often during this outside playtime.  He is alert and very smart.   He walks pretty well on a leash and he is curious to learn more things about life.  He is not inside a lot so we would have to say that he could be housebroken fast if given some one on one Attention and training.  This boy is good with cats, dogs and adores children.  He never meets a stranger and he will needs a fenced yard To best live within safely and to run and play for long hours if the weather is good.  We want a wonderful dog savvy and loving family for Robbie.   He will be a 65 pounds boy when fully grown we think.   If you are interested in knowing more about Robbie please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Mention where you live.  We transport from Nashville, TN where we are based and we travel to the Northeastern region as well with our pre-adopted dogs.   Thank you for considering this precious boy   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 30, 2024, 2:10 pm

Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. Story
This handsome Eskimo/Heeler mix boy is called Spock and he is a charming  2 year old that is a perfect size at just 45 pounds.  This special, young dog was found as a stray and the lady who found him adored his unique look and wonderful personality.  But sadly this loving rescue lady has had to admit that her health is just not stable enough to give him a long term life and home with her.  She is sacrificing this sweet boy to give him a chance at a forever home that will give him a great life for the next 10+ years.  Spock is very smart, alert, affectionate, loyal and fun dog to have around.  Due to the blend of breeds, he is called an Aussimo – a good mixture of both breeds.  He is housetrained, walks well on a leash, and is a true cuddle buddy. Spock is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, HW prevention, microchipped and a healthy boy.  He is good with children and gets along nicely  with other dogs.  This stunning boy is ready today for his forever home.
