Story
We adopted Wilfred from an out-of-state rescue that misrepresented him as being great with cats. He is in fact very motivated to chase our two cats, and we have not been successful in curbing this. We believe that Wilfy would do best living without any feline friends. Wilfred is adorable, smart and highly motivated to learn. He knows basic commands including sit, down, watch me and stay, and would do great learning tricks. Wilfred is doing well with his leash training. He adores people; he will wiggle his whole body in excitement when you come home, and will happily cuddle up with you. While he loves other dogs, we believe that Wilfred would do best as an only dog. His play style can be overwhelming at times, and he truly loves to soak up 1:1 attention. Wilfred is a delightful, sweet little scruffy boy who just needs the right human(s) to give him the happy forever home that he so very much deserves. Wilfy is 45 lbs. He is neutered, heartworm neg, and current on shots.

Story
Hilary is an approximately 4-5 year old, 40 pound, Lab/Pointer Mix found emaciated on the streets of Puerto Rico. For over 3 long years she has been waiting to be adopted. Many rescues have said they will bring her to the US only to back out or have it fall through. Hilary’s foster Mom in Puerto Rico says she holds no grudge about this and all love, play, curiosity and energy.Hilary loves everything and everyone. Great with other dogs, doesn’t react to cats, kids, you name it. When Hilary was found she was so skinny her body was rejecting food and she had to be spoon fed multiple times a day until her body would accept food. Happy and friendly Hilary deserves to finally have a forever place to land, it has been far too long. Hilary’s foster Mom in Maine says she loves to run, spin and jump around so she would love an active home to show off her zoomies. Hilary is fostered in Windsor. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
Quinn is an approximately 7- or 8-month-old, 35 pound, Labrador/Shepherd Mix (age and breed are best guess). Quinn flew in from Puerto Rico on 12/13 with his brother in hopes of finding his forever family here in New England for Christmas. Quinn was found abandoned in the rural town of Utado, Puerto Rico with 7 other siblings just before a hurricane in mid-August. A local business owner posted the puppies looking to help before the hurricane. Someone came and rescued 6 of them but left Quinn and his brother Alex behind. When the weather calmed, a man named Juan went back to the area to make sure all the pups had been rescued and to his surprise he found Quinn and his brother Alex huddled together, soaking wet and shivering. Within a couple days both of the boys came down with parvovirus. They were immediately hospitalized and treated. The boys were very lucky as the virus was caught quickly so it was mild. Quinn is now perfectly healthy and a playful and energetic puppy. He loves kisses and hugs and gets alone with everyone. Quinn is significantly larger than his brother and has long legs but will still likely be a medium sized to smaller large dog. He loves to play with other dogs. Quinn has seen cats but has not interacted with them. Quinn saw his first snowfall his very first full day here and absolutely loves to play in it with his doggy foster sister! Quinn is fostered in Bath. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
Meet Banshee — a 2.5-year-old German Shepherd with a BIG heart and even bigger love to give! 🐺 Banshee was surrendered due to a divorce — through no fault of her own. This amazing girl deserves a family who will never cast her aside again and will see her for the loyal, joyful companion she truly is. True to her breed, Banshee has lots of energy and absolutely lives for her adventures! She loves: 🌿 Outside “snifaris” 🚶‍♀️ Long walks 🧠 Sniff & find enrichment games Banshee does great with other dogs and especially loves a good game of tug-of-war. She is also 💯 house-potty trained — a big win! Banshee knows basic commands like sit, paw, and down, but when excitement hits (looking at you, UPS driver with cookies 🍪), all bets are off. She will need a committed adopter willing to invest time in basic obedience training to help her channel that enthusiasm. And yes… she will jump, hug, and kiss you whether you’re ready or not. Banshee is a powerhouse of love with absolutely no shame — she wants ALL the affection and gives it right back tenfold. ✨ If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, active best friend and are ready to put in a little training, Banshee will be your ride-or-die. 📍 Acton, Maine 📩 https://pprorg.com/ 📣 Please share — her forever family is out there, we just need to find them.
