Story
Wilfred is adorable, smart and motivated to learn. He knows basic commands including sit, down and stay, and would do great learning tricks. He is doing well with his leash training. Wilfy adores people; he will wiggle his whole body in excitement when you come home, will happily cuddle up with you in bed, and is quick to ask for a belly rub. Wilfred was advertised by the rescue we adopted him from as being great with cats. He is in fact highly motivated to chase cats, and should not live with them. While he loves other dogs, we believe that he would do best as an only pet. He loves 1:1 human attention and really shines when our other dog is not at home. Wilfy would make the right human(s) a truly special, once-in-a-lifetime dog. We want to find him an experienced adopter who is down to continue the rewards-based training that we have been practicing. Wilfy is 45 lbs. He is neutered, heartworm neg, and has all shots.

Story
Quinn is an approximately 8 month old, 35 pound, Labrador/Shepherd Mix (age and breed are best guess). Quinn is house trained and crate trained. Quinn flew in from Puerto Rico on 12/13 with his brother in hopes of finding his forever family here in New England for Christmas. Quinn was found abandoned in the rural town of Utado, Puerto Rico with 7 other siblings just before a hurricane in mid-August. A local business owner posted the puppies looking to help before the hurricane. Someone came and rescued 6 of them but left Quinn and his brother Alex behind. When the weather calmed, a man named Juan went back to the area to make sure all the pups had been rescued and to his surprise he found Quinn and his brother Alex huddled together, soaking wet and shivering. Within a couple days both of the boys came down with parvovirus. They were immediately hospitalized and treated. The boys were very lucky as the virus was caught quickly so it was mild. Quinn is now perfectly healthy and a playful and energetic puppy. He loves kisses and hugs and gets along with everyone. Quinn is significantly larger than his brother and has long legs but will still likely be a medium sized to smaller large dog. He loves to play with other dogs. Quinn has seen cats but has not interacted with them. Quinn saw his first snowfall his very first full day here and absolutely loves to play in it with his doggy foster sister! Quinn just absolutely adores other dogs. Quinn also has chickens at his foster home that he pays no bother to. Quinn is fostered in Bath. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Details

Story
Freddy is a very sweet, lovable 9 year old Chihuahua that was surrendered to us due to his owner going into a nursing home. He is very active and fully housebroken. Freddy loves other small dogs at his foster home and does well with the cat. He is curious, and follows her around. Freddy loves being held and loves sleeping under the covers with his foster mom and all 6 other dogs. Freddy lived with a senior woman, so we do not know about how he is with men. He seems very well socialized. He does seem blind in one eye due to a cataract, but that doesn't stop him. He was checked by our vet who has no concerns about the eye. He is very quiet and does not bark. He will take off if he is off leash, so he needs to be leashed or on a run. He would love to be with a retired couple, or senior lady and he may benefit living with another small dog. We are not sure about big dogs. He has no separation issues or destructive behavior. He is fine with strangers coming into his home. Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com
