Story

Oscar is a 14 month old male Newfoundland. He is a house pup and crate trained. He knows some basic commands. He gets along well with other dogs and kids. He is current on his shots and is on simparica monthly for fleas and heart worm. We are getting rid of him because he killed one of our younger cats. I honestly believe he was just playing with it but non the less, I’m not willing to take the risk with our other cat and smaller dog. Oscar is 100+ pounds but doesn’t realize it. Like any pup he gets excited and wants to jump up. We have a swimming pool and last year he really enjoyed swimming in it, which is not surprising with this breed. He is not neutered because the vet recommended waiting until he is at least 16 months old.

Story

Duke came into our lives when his previous owner abandoned him. He is a big fluffy giant with lots of love to give. We always said, it feels like he is talking to us through his eyes. We believe Duke is around 7-8 years old but aren't positive since we found him. He will benefit from a place that gives snuggles and love. He is wonderful with children. When he first came to us our girls were young and he was like a little mother to them. His energy level is low so if you are looking for someone to keep you company and love you, he is the one!

Boba is a lovable Newfie who likes to cuddle. His energy level is medium, he can play or be lazy. He could make the best companion for anyone needing some love. We believe he is around 5 years old. He has does have hip dysplasia which is common in the breed, however it does not slow him down.

Story

Rex is 3 years old born on January 25th of 2023. He is incredibly intelligent, gentle, and protective of children. While current on his rabies vaccination, he is not current on all of his boosters and is not neutered. Still being intact has led to an intense drive to get to female dogs or juvenile males in the neighborhood. He is a talented escape artist who can demolish kennels and easily slip harnesses and collars. Due to the high cost of neutering and the stress on my mental health, I am no longer able to manage his roaming. Rex is an amazing companion and 99% of the time an amazing dog in general, he deserves a great family who understands how normal this behavior is for an intact male. Rex has been attacked twice by male dogs and did not retaliate at all, actually appeared as if he believed they were playing which makes this situation so much more stressful and dangerous for him.

Story

Ducky is one of the sweetest dogs I have had the chance to love. She always wants to play, has fast zoomies, and loads of energy. She is mostly quiet but does the stereotypical husky talking to you when she wants your attention. She is the sister to my dog Goose who is also on here. They were littermates and she is half of her brothers size. Can be rehomed by herself if needed. Ducky however needs a special owner as she likes to chew on stuff when she gets nervous. She needs careful monitoring or loads of chewtoys! As long as you keep it all up she doesnt get into much trouble. She also needs fully potty trained as she goes on pads I cannot care for her due to suffering a spinal injury and becoming disabled

Goose is one of the sweetest dogs anyone could ask for. He will be your shadow throughout the day, loves cuddling, and loves playing. He loves chew bones and one of his favorite things are hugs. Goose has some separation anxiety that needs experienced people to work with him on but he is very loyal and loving. He is seen most of the time playing with his sister Ducky, also a german shepard malamute mix. He can be rehomed alone or with his sister. Goose has not been fully house trained, or well he goes on a pad no matter where it is, but thats as far as we got before I became disabled with a spine injury.
