Story
Ducky is one of the sweetest dogs I have had the chance to love. She always wants to play, has fast zoomies, and loads of energy. She is mostly quiet but does the stereotypical husky talking to you when she wants your attention. She is the sister to my dog Goose who is also on here. They were littermates and she is half of her brothers size. Can be rehomed by herself if needed. Ducky however needs a special owner as she likes to chew on stuff when she gets nervous. She needs careful monitoring or loads of chewtoys! As long as you keep it all up she doesnt get into much trouble. She also needs fully potty trained as she goes on pads I cannot care for her due to suffering a spinal injury and becoming disabled

Story
Goose is one of the sweetest dogs anyone could ask for. He will be your shadow throughout the day, loves cuddling, and loves playing. He loves chew bones and one of his favorite things are hugs. Goose has some separation anxiety that needs experienced people to work with him on but he is very loyal and loving. He is seen most of the time playing with his sister Ducky, also a german shepard malamute mix. He can be rehomed alone or with his sister. Goose has not been fully house trained, or well he goes on a pad no matter where it is, but thats as far as we got before I became disabled with a spine injury.

Story
Meet Sasha! 🌟 At just 3 years old, Sasha has already overcome so much. She was picked up by Franklin County in April after being hit by a car on I-670, suffering pelvic and hip fractures. But this brave girl didn’t let that stop her! 💪🐾 She’s fully healed and runs, plays, and enjoys life to the fullest. Sasha’s a spayed German Shepherd with a big heart and a big personality. She’s smart, protective, sometimes silly — and absolutely devoted once she bonds with you. She loves a good game of tug, chasing Jolly balls, and keeping watch over her yard like a true Shepherd queen. 👑 Her foster mom says Sasha has come a long way with patience, structure, and training. She’s working with trainer and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She needs someone experienced who understands the strong, loyal spirit of a GSD. ✅ Crate trained ✅ Great in the yard with a secure fence ✅ Sweet, affectionate, and hilarious once she trusts you 🚫 Best in a home without small kids or small animals Sasha’s perfect match? Someone who loves the Shepherd energy — confident, consistent, and committed to her continued growth. 🐕‍🦺💛 Trainer Brian has even offered to help with her transition and continued training for her adopter! If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal companion who’ll give you her all, Sasha is waiting. 🏡💖

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Doodad came in with his brother, Thingy. Both pups arrived feeling shut down and scared to interact with anyone. We gave them time to settle in and decompress. Doodad is a sweet and energetic guy, and he has been quickly picking up tricks with plenty of treats and encouragement! He has been working hard on learning to walk on a leash and has shown great progress. We are continuing positive reinforcement training to help him develop the confidence and manners he needs to become a wonderful adult dog. Patience is key! While Doodad has performed well during dog evaluations at the shelter, we always recommend bringing any resident pets in for a meet and greet before adopting him. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.fairfieldcountydogs.com. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 42 Age: 0yrs 8mths 1wks
