Story
Need to find a home for our newest Beagle mix. He is very sweet but is too high energy for our home. We have two other Beagles that are much more low energy, and they all get along very well. We have a 1-year old and a baby on the way and we don’t have time to give him all the attention he needs. He loves to play fetch and he loves to cuddle and lick faces too.

Story
Hello everyone my name is Sadie and I'm your typical tree walking coon hound. I am up-to-date on my shots and spayed. I'm good with other dogs. They tell me I'm a very sweet girl. All I want is to be loved and find my furever home. My biggest claim to fame is I am an amazing hunter. Would you like to take me out on a field trip? Let's go! Story
Meet Sasha! 🌟 At just 3 years old, Sasha has already overcome so much. She was picked up by Franklin County in April after being hit by a car on I-670, suffering pelvic and hip fractures. But this brave girl didn’t let that stop her! 💪🐾 She’s fully healed and runs, plays, and enjoys life to the fullest. Sasha’s a spayed German Shepherd with a big heart and a big personality. She’s smart, protective, sometimes silly — and absolutely devoted once she bonds with you. She loves a good game of tug, chasing Jolly balls, and keeping watch over her yard like a true Shepherd queen. 👑 Her foster mom says Sasha has come a long way with patience, structure, and training. She’s working with trainer and learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She needs someone experienced who understands the strong, loyal spirit of a GSD. ✅ Crate trained ✅ Great in the yard with a secure fence ✅ Sweet, affectionate, and hilarious once she trusts you 🚫 Best in a home without small kids or small animals Sasha’s perfect match? Someone who loves the Shepherd energy — confident, consistent, and committed to her continued growth. 🐕‍🦺💛 Trainer Brian has even offered to help with her transition and continued training for her adopter! If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal companion who’ll give you her all, Sasha is waiting. 🏡💖

Got her when my kids were young and didn’t play sport. Now we are always on the go with sports so we don’t have time to take care of her. When she has time out of her cage and is showed attention she is a good dog, but when she is left in her cage for to long and doesn’t get attention she become destructive.

Story
Meet Bizkit! Bizkit came to us as a stray, in rough shape and in need of some TLC. When the poor guy got to us he could hardly stand or walk, we think due to urine burns as a result of laying in his own waste. Fortunately for Bizkit, life is starting to turn around! He is hoping you will help him make life even better by offering him a cozy couch and a furever family. Bizkit is a happy guy that loves to take in the sights and sounds, and feel the sunshine on his handsome orange coat. He can be a little forward in introductions with other dogs, and would do best with a tolerant doggy playmate at home. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Bizkit home. If you are interested in meeting with Bizkit, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com, and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit. Story
Looking for a cute little lady to be your new sidekick? Meet Pip! Pip came to us as a stray, and no one came forward to claim her. We aren't sure how Pip ended up on the streets, but she is ready for a fresh start. Pip is a happy, rough-and-tumble type of lady with that signature pittie personality. She is rambunctious, outgoing, and happy as can be! Pip does okay with other dogs. She may need some help learning manners with positive reinforcement based training, but she is very food motivated and ready to learn! If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Pip home. If you are interested in meeting Pip, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
