Story
We had an accidental litter (parents have since been fixed) Piglet was one that we never found a home for. She is 11 months old (birthday is june 18th) She is very affectionate and vocal, she does an adorable howl/yawn when shes excited to see you. She is crate trained and house broke but needs a strict potty routine. She is great with kids and our other dogs. We just have too many to keep her forever. Also we have a fenced backyard so she is not leash trained.

Story
Finn is officially ready to find his forever home - and we’re going to be thoughtful about where he lands, because this boy is something special. When Finn came to us, he was severely underweight and had very little fur. It was clear he hadn’t had the care he deserved. Fast forward to today, and he’s a completely different dog. He’s nearly at his ideal weight, his coat is growing back beautifully, and most importantly - his personality shines. He is truly the best boy. Gentle, loving, and the kind of dog that just wants to be close to his people. Finn does have allergies, and we want to be transparent about that. We have completed full allergy testing and can provide a detailed report. He has already started immunotherapy along with additional medications, and he’s responding well. His future family will need to be committed to continuing that care so he can keep thriving. We’re looking for a home that will: • Prioritize his health needs • Provide consistency and stability • Give him the love and attention he’s been missing In return, Finn will give you everything. If you’re interested in giving Finn the life he deserves, please complete an adoption application and we will schedule a meet and greet.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Introducing Miss Mango. This lovely Bichon girl came to DASH with 2 other Bichons after having lived her whole life in a shed. She was not socialized at all and very shy. she has been in a foster home now for almost 2 years and has come a long way, but is still a shy girl. She loves to be in the same room with her foster mom just chillin, or loves being outside in the fenced in back yard. She gets along with other dogs in the foster home, but isn't really a player with the dogs or toys. She likes her space and is content to be in a soft doggie bed or a crate, which she sees as her safe place. She is not a lap dog. She does allow her foster mom to pick her up to brush her and will allow pets when there is cheese involved. She does really well at the groomers as well. She just really needs her forever home to know she is still a work in progress, and will need continued patience as she learns that the world is not a big bad scary place and there are people who love her. This girl is so sweet and we have seen glimpses of a funny, loving doggo. She is ready for her forever and ever home. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Introducing Thistle. Thistle is a very special dog. She came to DASH almost a year ago with several other dogs who all had been what we believe was a backyard breeding situation. She came with her two pups, who have both found their forever homes. Thistle is very shy and has been working on coming out of her shell at her foster home. She has come such a long way, but is still very independent and would prefer to just be within eyesight of her foster mom is, but not in her lap. She does come up for pets, but only on her terms. She can be very vocal at times, but that's just her way of letting you know she's excited to start the day or to see you at the end of the day if you've been gone. She loves playing fetch with stuffed toys in the fenced in backyard and has mastered the doggie door to go out to potty or just relax outside. She will sleep in bed with her foster mom and some other doggies, but she does get up and down at times, just to get some space. She allows herself to be brushed and her nails trimmed and did extremely well at her grooming appointment. She would love another confident dog in her new home to help her be comfortable and to learn the ropes there. Due to her shyness, she has not been leash trained, and she can scale a 4 foot fence with ease. She did meet the fosters grandchildren and would not let them get close, but also did not mind them being in the same space as her. She has not been cat tested. She needs a person who understands just how special she is and that once she knows she's safe with you, she will be your lifetime shadow and special friend. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Welcome Brian to DASH! This mellow great pyrenees/shepherd mix came to DASH from a rural shelter where he was going to be euthanized for space. Brian is housebroken, loveable, and a very mellow guy who loves everyone he meets. His favorite past time is laying around getting loved on. He is currently in our DASH prison program working on his basic commands. He is crate trained, potty trained in the prison setting and walks well on a leash. He loves all dogs, but has not been kid or cat tested. His breed needs a job, something to keep him busy and engaged, so his new family should be prepared to give him that. He would make a great pet for anyone.
