My foster family DNA tested me and I am 50% Great Pyrenees, 20.1% Cane Corso, 19.6% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 10.3% American Bulldog. More importantly, I am 100% the best girl! My early days started with being kept crated 24/7, used for breeding and hardly cared for. Finally, my “family” abandoned me, which may have been the best gift possible. I was found as a stray and taken in as an emergency due to my condition. Between the help of many rescuers, I made my way to CO•PAW and have transformed into my absolute best self. From skin & bones to healthy & playful! I love sleeping on the couch, sometimes trying to scooch my way onto a lap if I’m allowed. I just learned how to play with my foster brothers and I love running in the yard with them, too. I love my food and treats! I am working on basic commands and definitely food motivated. I prefer to be fed away from other pets. After having been starved, I can get a wee bit protective of my foods. I REQUIRE... A fenced in yard or lots of walkies! If you have a flimsy fence, that might not work for me. If I see a deer or a rabbit, I want to try to get it. 👀 My foster mom had a weak spot in her fence, and I went on a bit of a walk about. The Routine: She eats twice a day (in her crate to prevent "bloat") and is learning to wait patiently while other dogs are served. Manners: She already knows Sit, Shake, Lay Down, and "House." She’s a fast learner who mastered her name in just one day! 🎾 Energy & Play Ellie is a high-energy girl who would thrive with an active owner or a fenced-in yard where she can let out her famous "zoomies." She’s quiet (she doesn’t even bark at the neighbor’s cat!), but she does like to stay busy. Libra wasn’t raised to be a mean dog even tho he’s a pitt he also never got until any fights…he never had a girlfriend but that’s what I think he needs sometimes because he think I’m his lol. Libra is a protector he like to sit but house door or room door. Libra never bit up shoes or wires only ate socks when he was little, he likes dog parks but being that he’s not fixed I had to stop taking him, he also love to bath. Libra has a allergic reaction to chicken…his favorite shampoo is from coat defense he also like when you put the powder on him from that company…Libra still needs some training but he knows what sit means he knows the word Go and No or come here, also know how to give you his paw.
