My foster family DNA tested me and I am 50% Great Pyrenees, 20.1% Cane Corso, 19.6% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 10.3% American Bulldog. More importantly, I am 100% the best girl! My early days started with being kept crated 24/7, used for breeding and hardly cared for. Finally, my “family” abandoned me, which may have been the best gift possible. I was found as a stray and taken in as an emergency due to my condition. Between the help of many rescuers, I made my way to CO•PAW and have transformed into my absolute best self. From skin & bones to healthy & playful! I love sleeping on the couch, sometimes trying to scooch my way onto a lap if I’m allowed. I just learned how to play with my foster brothers and I love running in the yard with them, too. I love my food and treats! I am working on basic commands and definitely food motivated. I prefer to be fed away from other pets. After having been starved, I can get a wee bit protective of my foods. I REQUIRE... A fenced in yard or lots of walkies! If you have a flimsy fence, that might not work for me. If I see a deer or a rabbit, I want to try to get it. 👀 My foster mom had a weak spot in her fence, and I went on a bit of a walk about. Due to worsening allergies in the home and an unavoidable change in work schedules, Lucky is looking for a foster (or forever) home where he can trade his crate for more "zoomie" time and companionship. 🌟 Personality & Temperament Lucky is the perfect blend of his breeds: independent, curious, and deeply affectionate. He is a "people dog" who has never shown aggression toward humans or other animals. Vocal & Communicative: In true Husky fashion, Lucky likes to talk! He may give a low growl when it’s time to go into his crate—not out of aggression, but as a "vocal protest" because he’d much rather stay out and play with you. Everyone’s Friend: Lucky is great with other dogs, we are unsure how he does with children and cats. Alert & Attentive: He takes his job as a doorbell notifier seriously and will bark at strangers or footsteps at the door, though household sounds like the vacuum don't phase him. A Little Storm-Shy: While he’s fine indoors during bad weather, loud environmental noises like thunderstorms or large garbage trucks can make him anxious while on walks. 🏡 Life at Home Lucky is a "good boy" when it comes to house manners. He is house-trained and is not destructive when left alone. Crate Profile: He is fully crate-trained and sleeps there comfortably at night (usually starting around 8:00 PM). I adopted Titus about a year ago and in that year, he’s been an exceptional dog. He has separation anxiety so it’s been a little tricky with my busy work schedule. He is full of energy which makes walks and car rides easy. He enjoys new people, never bit anyone, and easily adjust to routines. Sadly, I have gotten extremely busy and am hardly ever home for him like he needs.

Junie is a great dog. She is so loving and playful. Shes highly intelligent and athletic. Shes a large dog but thinks she's small and will literally climb in your lap to sleep. She loves to be up under you. She is house trained, knows sit, lay down, stay and shake. However, she resource guards. She should absolutely be in a home that does NOT have other animals and because of her temperament around food she should also be in a home with older children. I think with the right family Junie has unlimited potential and can be a families dream dog
