Story

Hunter is our lovable 7-year-old Siberian Husky. He is a beautiful white Husky with a playful and loving personality. Hunter enjoys attention, being loved on, and spending time with his family. Unfortunately, due to severe allergies in our household, Hunter has had to stay in a certain area of our home. Over the past year, our schedules have also become tremendously busy, which has made it difficult for us to give him the time, attention, and companionship he truly deserves. Hunter is a wonderful dog, and this decision is not an easy one for our family. We love him and want what is best for him. We would love to find him a home where he can get plenty of attention, playtime, and love and truly be a part of the family. Our biggest priority is finding Hunter a safe, loving, and permanent home where he can be happy and well cared for. 🤍

Story

Meet Theo! He’s about 5 years old and has been my buddy since 2021, when an old roommate brought him home as a puppy and quickly realized puppy life wasn’t for them. Theo LOVES people. We host D&D groups 2–3 times a month, so he’s used to a house full of people and settles in once the excitement wears off. He’s affectionate without being clingy, loves nuzzling his face into you, and if you open your arms and say “Hug,” he’ll stand up and wrap his paws around you. He’s playful when invited, but honestly he’s a huge sleepyhead and spends half the day curled up on his designated couch. He loves running in a fenced yard, chasing squirrels and bunnies, and would thrive with another medium/large dog. He’s healthy, kennel trained, great with kids, and not much of a beggar... though a French fry may change his loyalty forever lol. We’re downsizing this spring and want Theo to have the space and companionship he loves. We adore him and will be selective about finding the right home.

We acquired Maverick from a pet adoption agency when he was 9 months old. He is now just a little over 2 years old. He is a fiercely loyal pet to his owners--friendly and seeks a lot of attention. He loves going out in our 5 acre property and running around. He is great at following commands when he is calm (he was placed in a $3000 private training program) but can difficult to get his attention when excited. A perfect home for Maverick would be with a family with no kids or older kids as he gets extremely anxious with loud noise and commotion--particularly around small kids and too many guests. The homeowners should be experienced with energetic dogs. We love Maverick and only rehoming him because we know it's best for him to be with a family that allows him be his energetic self. Things to know:-House trained-crate trained (he loves his kennel—it’s his safe space)-knows basic commands (sit; down; place; come)-if you say “bowl” he will find his food bowl and bring it to you
