Story
Took him from a shelter where he was going to be euthanized for his fear aggression of men. I saw potential for growth and improvement for his fear. I now have him at my home where I have contacted a personal trainer to help with his behavior. Loper is 5 years old, 76 pounds and is on a sensitive skin and stomach diet, and hip and joint supplements for his hip dysplasia and gabapentin. The vet does not see any problems at this time for his hips. Loper will need someone with experience in Akitas or knowledge. He is very smart and loves attention on his own terms. He has met dogs through a fence and seems ok. But has not met face to face. Loper is very sweet, tolerant, smart. He is crate trained and asks to go potty. He has medium energy. He loves walks and explore new smells, loves squeaky toys and chewing on chicken flavored nylabones. He will follow you around the house where ever you go. He needs to find his forever with someone you keeps up with his training.

Story
Bailey was about a year old when she was rescued from an unhealthy environment. She is now 8 yrs old. She loves to run outside and chase squirrels. In the house she is a good watch dog and will bark at any sounds she hears outside which is usually people walking past or someone who is in the driveway. She is not a picky eater and eats dry dog food. She is a gentle dog who loves to be petted and bushed. She likes to lay down near people. She has a great smile! I would love to see her have a home in the country or at least a fenced in yard where she has room to run and play with children.

Story
Honey is an extremely sweet 9 month old female Bloodhound. She was found tied to a barrel in the woods extremely emaciated. A good Samaritan found her and helped her find her way to our program. She is now in foster care and has discovered how amazing life can be! She loves to go on adventures and hikes, she absolutely loves humans and dogs alike! She would do better in a home with older children as she is still very much a puppy and learning where to put her feet! She is doing amazing with potty training and has only had an occasional accident. She is crate trained and also does well being left out in the house alone. She is a playful little cuddle bug and would love a family of her own! She will require a fenced yard. If you are interested in Honey please fill out an application at www.southcentralbloodhounds.org/adoption
