Hello, I have a 6-year-old female named War. I got her from one of my elderly clients who can no longer care for her. I am 66 years old and don't want a pet at this time in my life. War is part pitbull with short red hair. She has never bit anyone. She was spayed by the Rascal Unit on 12-10-2025. That procedure also included a rabies shot. War is very friendly and playful. She loves playing with her toys and loves cuddles. She likes children and other animals. I am seeking to rehome her. Can you help with this situation? I'm not sure what kind of home I'm seeking for War. Just nice people who treat her well.

Story

Took him from a shelter where he was going to be euthanized for his fear aggression of men. I saw potential for growth and improvement for his fear. I now have him at my home where I have contacted a personal trainer to help with his behavior. Loper is 5 years old, 76 pounds and is on a sensitive skin and stomach diet, and hip and joint supplements for his hip dysplasia and gabapentin. The vet does not see any problems at this time for his hips. Loper will need someone with experience in Akitas or knowledge. He is very smart and loves attention on his own terms. He has met dogs through a fence and seems ok. But has not met face to face. Loper is very sweet, tolerant, smart. He is crate trained and asks to go potty. He has medium energy. He loves walks and explore new smells, loves squeaky toys and chewing on chicken flavored nylabones. He will follow you around the house where ever you go. He needs to find his forever with someone you keeps up with his training.

Louise and Thelma came in when they were posted on Facebook for free. The local shelter contacted us to see if we could bring them in to find them a safe home. They are bonded and will need to stay together. They would do best in a home with just the two of them. They are super cuddly and would be amazing Netflix binge watching partners! Story

Rose came in from the shelter with an 8lb tumor hanging off her leg. She was thought to be much older due to the stress and lack of ability to move much due to the pain from the heavy tumor. The tumor was removed and was not cancerous. After some time she healed wonderfully and is now a happy active girl! She was thought to be much older and was adopted, however upon finally getting her records she is only about 4 yrs.old. Her current owner is elderly and now that sweet Rose is much more active, she feels she will be better in a more active home with a younger family that can keep up with her. She is dog friendly; kid friendly and really just loves life! If you would be interested in giving Rose a forever home, please contact us!

Iris and her sister were found as strays and picked up by Animal Control. They are very sweet girls and absolutely love to play! They are very smart, potty trained and crate trained. Norman is a super special senior! He was picked up from the shelter by a wonderful vet that got his much needed medical care completed. He got a full dental, heartworm treatment, physical therapy for some old injuries, and some much needed weight on him. He was completed emaciated when she picked him up. He is a beautiful, happy boy now! He can be a bit dog selective and does better with females. He will need to be in a home without young children because of his food issues. He needs to continue his socialization to make sure he doesn't get overprotective of the home he is in. He loves to play and is still very active for his age!! If you would be interested in giving this sweet boy a forever home to live out his golden years please contact us!!
