Story
notorius has been an excellent companion and friend to me. It saddens me greatly that I have to even consider letting him go. He is now 6 years old and I have had him since he was 7.5 weeks old and he has literally never left my side. He never meets a stranger and wants to be loved by everyone. He has been raised with my grandchildren and loves kids, he loves car rides and playing outside but is very used to his comfy life inside. He has never stayed outside and has always been inside the home. notorius has also never been around cats so I'm not sure how he will react to them. I just want him to go to a loving home where someone has the time and love he deserves.

Story
Lola is a 4 year old hound who needs a patient and loving home. She’s affectionate, cuddly, and enjoys being around her family or other dogs. Lola has spent most of her life in a home and is happiest when she has some company nearby. I deeply believe Lola would do best with an owner who has experience with dogs or is commited to continue working on training her. She is very vocal when left alone because of her separation anxiety, so she most likely will not be the best fit for a home where she will be left by herself for a long time. Lola is very good motivated, or centered. She will investigate and steal food from any plates unattended or pantry doors left open. She would benefit most from CONSISTENT boundaries and POSITIVE reinforcement training. We sadly have to put Lola up for adoption due to an upcoming cross country move. We’re looking for a home that can provide the time, attention, and stability she deserves. We know she would thrive with someone who can give her love.

Story
Louise and Thelma came in when they were posted on Facebook for free. The local shelter contacted us to see if we could bring them in to find them a safe home. They are bonded and will need to stay together. They would do best in a home with just the two of them. They are super cuddly and would be amazing Netflix binge watching partners! If you have a quiet home and would like to give these special gals a forever home please contact us!

Story
Duke was found with his littermates and mom abandoned on a county road. We were called to help with them and when our volunteer arrived she found a group of emaciated, worm infested very sick pups. They were taken to the vet clinic and then tested positive for parvo. Some of the puppies were hospitalized. Duke was not as sick as some of them and he was able to stay in the fosters home . All of them were treated for parvo, worms and hydrated. They are all cleared now and are healthy silly hound puppies! Duke has a calm personality but still likes to play. If you would be interested in giving this sweet boy a forever home please contact us!

Grogu was part of a litter of pups whelped in our care. His mom was a Bloodhound and after we did their DNA we found out their other half was an American Staffordshire Terrier. They are super fun-loving pups, great hiking buddies, wonderful with kids, and great with other dogs! Grogu would make a wonderful addition to any family that is looking for an adorable, cuddly buddy! If you are interested in giving Grogu a home of his own please fill out our application at www.southcentralbloodhounds.org/adoption.
