Story
Harry is a very loving and loyal dog. He will lay on the couch or bed with you and take naps or he will be more than happy to run outside and play fetch. He is a very protective dog with his family, he will let you know someone is at the door before they knock. He is wary of strangers but once he gets to know you, he will do anything for you. Harry loves going for walks, sitting outside in any weather (except the rain) but he loves snow. He is fully house trained, has never gone through the trash or even chewed up anything other than his toys. He really is a great dog.

Story
Cali is a sweet 9 month old little girl that had a rough start at life. She gives the best cuddles. She’s curious and full of energy. She needs training, but is very smart and wants to learn. We don’t have the experience or energy to give her the chance she needs. Friendly with friendly dogs, reactive to reactive dogs. Seems to be a bit cautious/slightly fearful around men. Would do great with another young, friendly, playful dog. Her excited energy doesn’t mesh well with cats (at least not our 2 cats) She needs someone experienced with dogs , that is active and open to exposing her to new things in the world as and has the patience/knowledge to teach her how to not be fearful of those new things. She’s only been in our home for 2 months and has stolen our hearts. We’re so sad to rehome her but we want this beautiful girl to go to a home that can give her a better life than we can right now.

Story
Gravy is a 6 year old hound mix dog we adopted when he was 7 months old. He is super sweet and goofy, loves cuddling on the couch, hiking in the woods, and chewing on bones. He is quite the couch potato! We love our guy but he is no longer a good fit for our family with a wild toddler running around. He needs a home without any other pets and without any young children. A yard is a must, since he does not like walking around neighborhoods.

Dora is a great dog to have. We have had her for a little over 4 years now without any accidents. She is great with kids and grownups. She friends with family members right away. We are the first time dog owners and we never had any problems with her even though she is an Akita. If you truly love the dog, come do a meet and greet.

Shih Tzu Bichon Frise

Male, Young
Drexel Hill, PA
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details
Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Teddy is a sweet, 1½-year-old Shih Tzu–Bichon mix with a heart full of love and a loyal spirit. Weighing under 20 lbs, he’s the perfect small dog with a big personality. Teddy is a wonderful family companion—he adores children, is incredibly affectionate, and forms deep bonds with his people. He’s protective in a gentle way and always wants to be by your side. Teddy thrives on love and companionship, and like many small dogs, he can experience some separation anxiety when left alone for long periods of time. We’re heartbroken to be rehoming Teddy, but with two toddlers and both parents working night shifts, we simply can’t give him the time and attention he deserves. He needs a home where someone is around more often—whether that’s a stay-at-home parent, a retiree, or a family with a more flexible schedule. Teddy is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to bring joy, snuggles, and loyalty to a new forever home.
