Story
Meet Pepper! Pepper is an active 1-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who loves chewing bones, playing with other dogs, and running around outside in the yard. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up to you, she becomes a total cuddle bug. My wife and I adopted Pepper from Riley Rescue back in December. Unfortunately, due to our work schedules — my wife works day shift and I work nights — it’s been very challenging to give her the consistent time and training she needs during the week. She is still working on potty training and has had some issues with chewing furniture and personal items. With structure, patience, and someone who is home more often, we truly believe she has so much potential to thrive. She’s up to date on vaxs, is fixed, and micro chipped. We have all that information as well. Our goal is to find Pepper the right home where her needs can be fully met and where she can grow into the happy, well-trained dog we know she can be.

Story
Location: TX (transport to an approved home in certain areas)CristianoFrench Bulldog 4 years old UTD on vaccines: Yes Neutered: Will be before going home Good with dogs: Yes But will verify sizes Good with kids: Not sure but over 12 should be okayGood with cats: Not sure and no way to test  **Not a good fit for an apartment or any rental places due to chewing issues**  He is such a sweet boy but he is a chewer and can not be left out alone. Crating is a great tool as it keeps him from chewing on things he shouldn't and keeping him safe. Also, put stuff up and baby proof your home. Cristiano loves to play, take car rides and leisure walks doing the famous Sniffaro-ing ##2655587##

Story
Location: Knoxville, TNLeia (Heaven)Frenchie2-3 years oldSpayed, vetted, microchippedGood with dogs: Needs to be the only dog in the homeGood with kids: Yes but must be dog savvy and energetic (over 8 )Housetrained: yesCrate trained: Yes  Definitely needs a physical fenced yard as she loves to run and do zoomies. MUST HAVE FRENCHIE EXPERIENCEMeet Our Spunky Girl, LeiaThis precious girl is full of personality and she’s looking for a home that understands her needs. She is a high-maintenance pup, but she gives back tenfold in affection. She absolutely loves to snuggle and be close to her people. If you’re someone who enjoys bonding deeply with a dog and doesn’t mind a little extra care, she will steal your heart. She has an inverted tail that requires daily attention (gentle cleaning and wiping), so her ideal family is comfortable with hands-on care and keeping her clean. She is crate trained and house trained, and she does great with washable pee pads (disposable ones don’t stand a chance!)This girl loves the outdoors—running fast, zooming around, and stretching her athletic legs brings her so much joy. (Even in the cold weather)She’s very smart and agile, so if she’s motivated, gates are more of a fun challenge than a barrier. Her curiosity always gets the best of her, so a secure space and supervision are important.Once she’s had a chance to run and explore, she happily settles in for long naps and snuggles, making her a wonderful balance of fun and relaxation. She is a serious chewer, so anything tempting should be put away. Bark Box super chewer toys are her favorite. She’s currently on a venison kibble and adores treats like raw carrots, fresh or frozen strawberries, and freeze dried bananas. She is wonderful with kids. Being the only female dog in the home is preferred. She tends to be jealous with other females and may react aggressively. She currently lives with a male dog and enjoys playful sparring—she never lets him win!Car rides are not her favorite, and she will try to jump out if a window is open, so she needs to be safely secured if travel is unavoidable.Best fit:An experienced home that can provide structure, supervision, and lots of love. She would thrive with kids that match her energy level, and a family who appreciates a strong-willed, affectionate dog and is committed to her care needs.**we do not allow electric fences/halo collars, tethers/runners or doggy doors**   ##2464585##
