Story
This beautiful 3-year-old pit mix is a smaller-sized girl with a calm, gentle personality. She is house-trained, well-mannered, and understands multiple commands. She is very affectionate and enjoys snuggling, relaxing near her people, and being part of the household. She has a quiet temperament and rarely barks. Like most dogs, she enjoys occasional bursts of playful energy but is generally calm and easygoing. She has visited dog parks and has done well around other dogs without any issues. Her previous foster home included cats, and she reportedly got along well with them. She would likely thrive in a home with more space, ideally with a yard, where she can continue to settle in and enjoy a stable routine. She will come with all of her supplies to help make her transition smooth.

Story
On Christmas Eve, while most people were preparing for the holidays, Eve was sitting at ACCT Philly with just three days left before she was scheduled to be euthanized. Eve is a total love bug. She doesn’t just like affection — she needs it. She wants to sit next to you, lean into you, and feel safe. After everything she’s been through, she just wants her person. She is high energy and would do best in a home with a yard or an active family who can give her space to run and burn off that happy excitement. She is: • Crate trained • Working on leash skills and improving every day • Dog-friendly • Extremely affectionate Eve is a good girl. She’s learning what stability feels like — and she’s ready for it to be permanent. We saved her life on Christmas Eve. Now we’re hoping someone will give her the forever she’s been waiting for. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic, affectionate best friend who will love you with her whole heart — Eve is your girl. Message us to meet her.

Story
Meet Charles — a gentle goofball with a heart as big as his paws 🐾 Charles is a just-over-one-year-old lab mix (with maybe a dash of Mountain Cur mystery) who’s equal parts playful pup and professional couch potato. Found as a stray alongside another dog, Charles has clearly decided that life is better with friends—and that includes dogs, cats, and kids. He absolutely adores children and is wonderfully gentle with them. At first meeting, Charles can be a little shy, the kind of guy who likes to take a moment to read the room. Give him a little time (and maybe a squeaky toy), and his sweet, goofy personality shines through. He has happy bursts of puppy energy—especially when balls are involved—but he’s just as content to curl up beside you and supervise nap time. Charles’ favorite things include: Chews he can really sink his teeth into Squeaky toys (the noisier, the better) Balls of all kinds Cozy couches and warm humans If you’re looking for a loving, kid-friendly companion who can keep up on play days and slow down for snuggle nights, Charles might just be your perfect match. He’s ready to trade stray life for forever life—preferably one with toys, treats, and a spot next to you on the couch. 💛 While undergoing a routine veterinary evaluation, we learned Charles is heartworm positive. We are currently having him treated, and as long as his adopters are okay providing him a few months of rest and continuing his treatment (covered by the rescue) with the current treating vet, Charles can go home. He does not pose a risk to current animals in the home, and we’d be more than happy to go over heartworm and treatment with you, should you have questions. Kennel license 16984

Story
Meet lil Miss Mabel. Mabel is a 3 year old midsize mix who is a bit of a scaredy cat, but tries so hard to be brave. It will take some time for Mabel to be comfortable with new people and meeting any dogs. While in foster care, she has really come out of her shell, and can show so many cute emotions on her face. She loves to play, both with her humans and her foster siblings. She loves fetch, tug of war and wrestling. She does well settling down at the end of the night, snuggling on the couch with you and a warm blanket. Mabel can be a bit awkward at times but she is such a sweet girl. Mabel is crate trained and mostly house trained. She has had professional board and train where she learned some good girl cues; such as place, come, heel amongst others. Her foster mom would be happy to dive deeper into this training with interested adopters. Mabel does have some resource guarding related to food which should be managed if there are other dogs in the home with her. She has improved on the guarding with time and training. Mabel is just looking for a loving home where she can continue to grow and blossom into the brave girl that is hiding within her. Kennel License 16984
