Story
Hozier is a two-month-old puppy who loves everyone he meets. He enjoys learning, exploring, and playing with other cats and dogs. He is food-motivated and plays well with toys. His ideal home will understand the needs of a young puppy and continue to prioritize his training and socialization. Please note that Hozier is sensitive to high-pitched noises and being held for long periods; these needs are easily met by monitoring and managing his stress signs. Hozier is currently crate trained and doing well with potty training. Given his age, he requires a schedule where he can be let out every few hours and after meals. As he is in an exploratory phase, his new family will need to continue redirecting him toward appropriate chew options. For more photos, please visit the "vinniegunnar" account on Instagram. Story
Diamond is looking for a very special family. She just completed heartworm treatment and is ready to be adopted. Diamond is around 6 years old, 40 pounds, and will do well almost anywhere. She seems to do okay with dog-savvy cats with slow intros, and has been friendly with dogs. She only wants to be by your side, and would very much like to share your snacks and hog your blankets. Whoever decides to love this girl for all her days must understand Diamond has a rare form of subcutaneous cancer that has stumped even veterinary oncologists. They expect that she still has many years left, but in full transparency, her prognosis is unknown. She also has dry eyes, and gets an inexpensive, twice daily drop to help. Diamond’s adoption fee will be reduced for the right home. Kennel License 16984

Story
Are you looking for a small horse to make your house feel like home? Do you love dogs who stretch to take up the whole couch without knowing how large they are? Birch is the man for you! His legs are a mile long and thoughts are few and far between. He’s a happy go lucky man who loves everyone he meets - dogs and people! Birch absolutely loves learning new things, chewing on stuffies, and spending time with those he loves. He enjoys walks, but would much rather spend his time doing some tricks for treats. He is currently being fostered with toddler and a baby, and is very nice with them, but doesn’t realize his size so knocks them over from time to time. Birch is fully potty trained and crate trained, he loves company but will bark a couple of times to let you know theres someone new in the house. Horse and buggies scare him. Birch does have hip dysplasia but you’d never know it from how he plays! He needs to be on hip and joint supplements for life, and needs a day of rest after a day full of activity so he doesn’t get too sore. Regular walks and exercise are great for him to keep his hips happy and strong! Kennel License 16984

Story
Meet Cobra! He’s a 4ish years old mixed breed looking for the perfect forever home. Cobra was originally rescued from a cruelty case in South Carolina, and made his way into foster care in December of 2023. Because of his past, Cobra is weary of all new people, but especially men. When it comes to women he makes friends super easily once he’s given a few treats, but with men he needs to have a few slow introductions before he really warms up. Because of his reactivity towards new people, he’s not a good fit for a home with children. That being said, Cobra is great in his crate and can easily be put away when/if you are having people over. He is friendly with other dogs, but likes cats and small critters a little too much to live with any. Cobra is medium-low energy. He loves to go on a nice long walk every morning, but then tends to spend the rest of the day snoozing on the couch or in his crate. Cobra walks really well on the leash and loves to sniff every pole and fire hydrant he sees. He would love a home in the suburbs with a yard, but it’s not a necessity as he is being fostered in the city and does great. He is a big time snuggler and loves to be close to his favorite person, maybe that could be you? Adopt Cobra! Kennel License 16984

Dulce is as sweet as her name implies.  She’s 4 yrs old and about 50 lbs of total love.  This cutie is house-trained, crate-trained, and great with other dogs (currently lives with two males and one female).  She has great manners on walks and knows some basic commands.  She enjoys her playtime and knows when it’s time to settle down and loves to be your cuddle buddy.
