Story
Hello! Meet your new BFF Harvey!!! Obviously, Harvey is one of the most good looking, most handsome dogs ever but his sweet personality is just as amazing!!! Harvey is a complex little man who’s got it all in one adorable package! Harvey has the most sweet gentle soul imaginable but he’s so freaking hilarious and derpy too while somehow also being one of the smartest dogs we’ve ever met! He has an absolutely gorgeous merle coat with the floppiest puppy paws and ears you’ve ever seen. We did a DNA test of him and he’s American Pitbull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier and Siberian Husky. 😍 When Harvey first got to his foster home he was a little nervous guy but he has truly blossomed during his stay with us! Harvey came to the rescue as a young pup with a broken hip but he’s all fixed up and ready to live his best life! He can sometimes be a little nervous at very first meeting but is literally everyone’s bestest friend within 30 seconds! He’s just a big, goofy, bouncy puppy! His favorite thing in the whole world is a tennis ball and he can entertain himself for hours with one. Harvey is completely house trained and stays home alone like a perfect angel. He’s learned lots of new stuff in his foster home, like sit, down, place, leave it, loose leash walking and much more and he’d love to continue learning more stuff, Harvey loves training! Harv is open to meeting potential doggie siblings and he even gets along with the kitty in his foster home now. He would like a home with a backyard that is located outside loud downtown areas because he’s definitely a country dog at heart and prefers to avoid the hustle and bustle lifestyle. Harvey recently stayed with a temporary foster for a week and did really amazing with the teenage kids in the family but young toddlers might be a little much for this sensitive man at this point. His foster mom believes Harvey is definitely someone’s soul dog…he is so ready to army crawl into your lap and heart!!! 😍 See lots more Harvey on Instagram or Facebook at @WilliePierogiPlatypus!

Story
Marnie is a happy and goofy dog that enjoys the simple things in life like carrying her stuffies around, including on walks, and a nice blanket pile on her bed. She prefers quiet homes due to her anxiety but has made huge strides in making new human friends and warms up quickly, especially when they come with treats! Though Marnie is dog friendly, she has a tendency to guard high value items like the stuffies she loves so much. She does not have reactivity to dogs, she actually enjoys them, but her resource guarding might require a very informed family if there are other dogs in the home all the time. Since she is an anxious dog, we would also consider her not a good candidate for young children - they can be loud and unpredictable and Marnie really just wants to chill. She truly deserves it given the rough start she had! Once she settles in, she will show you her goofy smiles and wiggly butt every day! If you think you can provide a loving and stable home for this truly entertaining dog, please apply!

Story
Virginia is a 3-year-old throwaway mama dog who arrived to the rescue very pregnant, but unfortunately her babies didn’t make it. Fortunately, Virginia has shown us just how resilient and loving she is. There is not a human alive that she doesn’t love, and she absolutely blossoms with snuggles and love. She is on the shorter side, and around 55 pounds. Virginia is dog friendly, but she isn’t too sure about rough housing yet, though she’s happy to have a dog friendly or two. She is currently in foster with cats, and though she’s been very tolerant of them, she will randomly chase so we feel she should live in a cat-free home. Virginia is house trained, crate trained (and should definitely utilize her crate when unsupervised), and walks well on leash. She doesn’t have any formal obedience training, so her forever family should be willing to work with her on the basics. She absolutely loves to hog the pillows at night, and run around the house with her stuffed toys, and does it all with a smile on her adorable face. If you’re looking for an absolute gem of a dog who literally always has a smile on her face, look no further than Virginia.

Story
Are you looking for a small horse to make your house feel like home? Do you love dogs who stretch to take up the whole couch without knowing how large they are? Birch is the man for you! His legs are a mile long and thoughts are few and far between. He’s a happy go lucky man who loves everyone he meets - dogs and people! Birch absolutely loves learning new things, chewing on stuffies, and spending time with those he loves. He enjoys walks, but would much rather spend his time doing some tricks for treats. He is currently being fostered with toddler and a baby, and is very nice with them, but doesn’t realize his size so knocks them over from time to time. Birch is fully potty trained and crate trained, he loves company but will bark a couple of times to let you know theres someone new in the house. Horse and buggies scare him. Birch does have hip dysplasia but you’d never know it from how he plays! He needs to be on hip and joint supplements for life, and needs a day of rest after a day full of activity so he doesn’t get too sore. Regular walks and exercise are great for him to keep his hips happy and strong!
