Keanu is a very sweet boy he is very energetic very smart he can but also very scared. He use to live in a cage in a basement for 2 years and just lived in a cage his whole life, I tried to keep him but it's not working out with me because I have another dog who is 14 years old. He is obsessed with my other dog poochi and does not leave not him alone all day and does not let me.sleep.at night because he is crying over my dog. And its driving my dog crazy as well I just cannot deal I tried for 3 months hoping this will stop but it's not. Other than that he is a good boy , it's probably better If someone adopts Keanu that they only want one pet because he is obsessed with other dogs

Lainey is an affectionate 7 mth old who LOVES her human and cuddles. She is a very bright girl. She knows basic commands and hand signals for 3 of them, and is recalled by a whistle command. Lainey needs an active, experienced owner who can exercise her in a fenced in yard, or on hikes. Lainey may have separation anxiety, or it may still be puppy behavior. Lainey currently lives with another (small) dog and two cats. Lainey isn’t aware of her size and strength, therefore, can be a little too heavy with her attempts to initiate play with the other pets. It is important to note, Lainey is not aggressive with the other pets. Her furever family will need to keep an eye on her when it comes to playing with small children, because she can easily knock them over. Lainey is current with vaccinations and is not yet spayed. Masie is a 10 year old terrier mix. She is spayed and UTD on her shots. Masie is being rehomed due to blending of two families and she is not able to live in the same house with other dogs. Currently, she is being kept separate from the other dogs, but it is not fair to Masie. Masie needs a home where she is the only pet. She also needs a 6 foot fence. She plays hard still at her age, so children over 5 would be best for her. Masie is a courtesy post and not a dog from PLDP Rescue. Story

Meet 1 1/2 year old Horace! Horace was rescued from a mennonite farm when the owners no longer wanted him. He lived on a farm and slept in a barn. He had a bad ear infection, scabby painful ears from horse flies and sadly tested positive for lyme. He was on antibiotics for a month, and his protein in his urine is perfect. He will test positive for the rest of his life, but shows no illness from the disease. Horace is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He is VERY dog friendly and lives with three other dogs currently. He loves to play ball. Horace would do best in a home with another dog. He came out of his shell quickly in his foster home due to the other dogs in the home. He loves playing catch and wrestling with his favorite girl dog Zoe. He loves children but might knock them over accidentally. He weighs 75 lbs, but looking at him you might think he weighs close to 100. He has very long back legs. His foster mom calls him her little horse. Horace is still learning about personal space. He has no issues laying on top of you for love and passing out. He does not have a mean bone in his body. He would do best with a family that has another dog and a large 6 ft fenced in yard. He knows how to climb a chain link fence. He would be a great running partner! Jackson is a 9 1/2 year old german shepherd mix that is neutered and up to date on his shots. Sadly, his owner just passed away and his family is now looking for a new home for Jackson. Jackson should be the only dog. He has never been around cats. He is great with kids and would do well with any age. He is good on the leash but pulls if a squirrel runs past. He is house trained and very playful. He loves chasing the ball, but not the best with bringing it back. He tries! He loves playing tug a war. Jackson is a chicken lover! Beef upsets his stomach. Any food with chicken is his preference. He loves laying in his bed and taking naps often. He loves getting belly rubs! Jackson is not a pldp rescue dog, but a courtesy post.
