Story
Luna is very playful mixed 14 month old … she has been working on training but hard for her at times as her owner has a mental condition and he doesn’t spend consistency time with her. She is cage trained. Can sit went told to come One called. To be honest, I just don’t think she likes sharing her food She is smart and I know that can be trained to be a very well behaved dog, but my son is unable to. Does need to have her nails cut, but I’m unable to take her right now…. She does have a chip and plant it, but has never been activated as he says that he couldn’t do it.

Story
Sweet, funny doxie mix Nicholas is ready for his forever home where he can be the center of attention! He's fine with dogs but not a buddy for one. Enjoys meeting all people, loves his person, being close, cuddling. 5 years, 13 pounds, Nick had a small bout of IVDD, recovered quickly with rest, steroids. His walk is off a bit, but he walks, runs fast, is not hampered in living his little life at all. Nicholas enjoys squeaky toys, will carry them to you for play or squeak them by himself. He's a really wonderful best friend. Fostered near Philadelphia, PA. Adoption fee $275 www.longdogsrescue.org/application

Story
Cedar is a 7-year-old shepherd mix with a gentle soul and so much love to give. With his super soft, plush coat and calm presence, he’s the kind of dog who makes you feel at ease the moment you meet him. This sweet boy enjoys spending time outdoors, taking in all the sights and smells on a nice walk. He’s happiest when he’s exploring at his own pace and then leaning in close for pets and those all-important butt scratches, his specialty! Cedar is open to meeting other pets and would do well in a home with kids 12+ who can match his easygoing nature. As a shepherd mix entering his senior years, Cedar is looking for a home that will support him as he ages, keeping him active, engaged, and healthy both physically and mentally. Regular exercise, enrichment, and lots of love will help him continue to thrive and enjoy life to the fullest. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion to share your days with, Cedar might be the perfect fit.-----------------------------------------------------If you are interested in adopting, please visit Women`s Animal Center to fill out an application in person. Story
Handsome piebald Cajun is a total sweetheart, a gentle, well-mannered boy, who loves cuddling!  Four years, 12 pounds, Cajun came to rescue as a breeder release because of an IVDD episode.  He was never completely down, wobbly especially on one side. We treated him with steroids, acupuncture/laser; then some water therapy. Cajun is doing so well. He walks, runs, goes in/out the doggie door in his foster home, plays. His only limitations are stairs, jumping, but those are off limits for all doxies. We'd like him to have a fenced yard. He would enjoy a doggie buddy, who is mostly chill, plays some. Cajun loves lap time, hanging out with his humans.  If you are able to open your heart to this lovely boy, he'll be a great best friend. Fostered near Philadelphia, PA. Adoption fee $375. www.longdogsrescue.org/application

Story
Fiona is a 7-year-old Boxer/Pitbull mix with the cutest smile around. When she grins, her little teefers peek out and it’s impossible not to fall in love. This sweet girl lights up when she has a toy with her and is always ready for playtime with her favorite people. Fiona already knows “sit” and has such a fun, happy personality. She absolutely adores people and brings so much joy everywhere she goes. Whether she’s showing off her toys, soaking up attention, or flashing her adorable smile, Fiona knows how to make every day brighter. Fiona would do best as the only pet in the home so she can enjoy all the love and attention for herself. She’s open to living with kids ages 16 and up and is ready to find a family that will cherish her as much as she’ll cherish them..------------------------------------------If you are interested in adopting, please visit Women`s Animal Center to fill out an application in person. Story
Magic is a 4-year-old hound/pit mix with a big personality packed into a compact body. True to his name, he’s ready to steal your heart, no tricks required… although he might make your worries disappear!  Magic is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely adores his people. He’s the kind of dog who will happily lean into you for pets and remind you just how good a quiet moment can feel. Whether you’re heading out for a long walk, relaxing on the porch watching birds, or winding down on the couch after a long day, Magic wants to be right by your side through it all. Because of his hound roots, Magic has a strong voice and loves to howl, so he’s looking for a home without shared walls, and no apartments for this vocal performer. Give him a little space to sing, and he’ll reward you with endless love and companionship. Magic is open to meeting other pets and kids over the age of 12. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a touch of “magic,” this charming boy is ready to make your life a whole lot brighter! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------If you are interested in adopting, please visit Women`s Animal Center to fill out an application in person.
