Story
Meet Buttons! Fostered in Aston, PA Buttons is a beautiful 6 year-old Bernese Mountain Dog with the gentlest heart. She's a shy girl at first, but once she knows she's safe, her sweet personality begins to shine. Her favorite things? Being a professional couch potato, lounging in the backyard , treats (she comes running for the treat jar! ), and soaking up gentle pets on her head. She even gets adorably jealous when another dog is getting attention and not her! Buttons would love a laid-back home with a friendly, confident dog sibling to help her continue building confidence, and a fenced yard where she can safely relax and explore. House trained Crate trained (it's her happy place!) Great with kids, dogs, and everyone she meets Spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready for her forever family All Buttons asks for is a little patience while she blossoms. The foster says she's truly an angel—and one of the very best dogs they've ever fostered. Could you be the family she's been waiting for? Story
Meet Queen! This two-year-old husky mix came to us after a rough start in Philadelphia, where she lived in a difficult situation alongside another male husky mix and two puppies. She deserves so much better — and now she's ready for the fresh start she's always deserved. Full of energy and always up for fun, Queen is looking for an active family who loves getting outside as much as she does — whether that's hiking, jogging, or just a solid game of fetch. A tired husky is a happy husky, and she'll thrive with a family committed to giving her the daily exercise she needs. Queen loves other dogs and is happiest when she has a similarly-sized, playful pal to romp around with. Smaller dogs tend to get overwhelmed by her enthusiasm, so she'd do best in a home with a dog closer to her size — or as the only pup who gets all the attention. Cats may be a possibility with slow, careful introductions and the right match, but small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, or birds aren't a safe fit for Queen's home. Queen is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and house and leash trained — she's ready to settle right into her new home. She is currently being fostered in Philadelphia, PA. If you're an active household ready to give this girl the love and adventure she's been waiting for, we'd love to hear from you! Story
Meet Stewie  Stewie is a lovable four-month-old mixed breed puppy with the sweetest personality and so much love to give.  He is being fostered in Saylorsburg , PA. He was found as a stray in SC, so we don't know what his mix is but best guess in a Boxer mix.  We expect him to be a medium/large dog when full grown. After a rough start as a stray, this resilient boy is learning just how good life can be in a safe and loving home. Stewie is doing great with potty training and continues to make progress every day. He’s still learning to walk on a leash, but with a little patience and some pocket treats, he’s eager to please and catches on quickly. This playful boy loves other dogs and enjoys making new furry friends. He’s full of fun and energy when it’s time to play. But don’t worry, Stewie is just as happy being a couch potato and soaking up cuddles. Stewie is affectionate, gentle, and full of love. He’s not much of a barker. The only time you’ll really hear him is when he’s trying to convince another dog to play with him. Stewie has come a long way from life on the streets. Now he’s ready for the one thing he deserves most: a forever home filled with love, comfort, and belly rubs. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will bring both joy and snuggles to your life, Stewie might just be your perfect match.A neuter deposit will be required as part of the adoption process.  He is up to date on age appropriate vaccines and microchippped.  He is available for adoption in NJ and the surrounding area. For more information, and to fill out an application, click on the link below:https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application ##2762980##

Story
Meet Maggie – The Silly, Sweet, Soccer-Loving Hound Mix with a Heart of Gold!   Being fostered in Southhampton, NJ Maggie is a a 1 year and 6 month, 75-80 lb hound mix who’s as playful, loving, and full of life as any pup you’ll ever meet. She loves to chase soccer balls, squeak her favorite toys, and zoom around the yard with her dog friends. When she’s all tuckered out, she’s happy to snuggle up for cuddles and belly rubs.    This happy girl has had a rough start to life. Her dad went to prison and couldn’t keep her, so a kind person took her in to help her — but due to her own health issues, she couldn’t keep Maggie either. That’s when our rescue stepped in to give this special girl the second chance she deserves.   Maggie was later diagnosed with a liver condition, which is currently well-managed with two daily medications and a prescription diet. While it’s possible that her life may not be as long as other dogs’, Maggie doesn’t know that — she’s busy living every single day with joy, energy, and love. Our goal is to find her a wonderful forever family who will help her live her best, happiest life for as long as she has.   She’s dog-friendly, kid-friendly (ages 6+), house and crate trained, and loves attention from her people — especially the ladies! She’s smart, playful, and a little bossy at times, but also incredibly affectionate. Maggie can be nervous when meeting new people, but she just needs patience, guidance, and love to help her feel secure.  She is still just a puppy who hasn't had much stability in her life so she would greatly benefit from a family committed to training her to to be the best girl she can be.    A fenced yard is strongly preferred since she loves to run and play safely off-leash. Maggie will thrive with a family who understands her puppy energy and wants to make every day count for this wonderful girl.   If you’ve got room in your heart for a loyal, goofy, and truly special pup, Maggie is waiting to fill your life with love.  Could you be the one to change Maggie's story into a happily ever after!? https://peytonsplaceanimalrescue.org/adoption-application/ Breed: Hound Mix Age: 11 months Weight: 56 lbs ##2523933##
