Story
Cali is 5 yo, she was a puppy from NJ from an owner that did not normally breed but wanted one litter from her Black Lab because she was so sweet. She is 100% house broken, loving and well behaved. I went from living on a 15 acre farm to a 1,000 sq ft house and I have a very busy life. I don’t think it’s fair on her. Please have a fenced yard and hopefully children!

Story
Luna 's Story Meet Luna, a beautiful 3-year-old female husky with a striking presence and a spirited personality. Luna was adopted just a few months ago but has recently found her way back to us. Luna is a smart and active girl, as many huskies are, and she’ll do best with an owner who understands the breed and can meet her physical and mental needs. She can be selective with other dogs, so careful introductions are important, and she would do best in a home without cats. We also recommend a household without small children, where her boundaries and energy level can be respected. On walks, Luna is enthusiastic and tends to pull on the leash, so continued training will help her become a more polished walking companion. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she has great potential to learn and grow. Luna is full of personality and is ready to bond deeply with the right person or family. If you have husky experience and are looking for a loyal, energetic companion, Luna just might be the perfect match. We are now accepting applications for this special girl. Story
Rocky's Story Rocky is a 4-year-old Cane Corso mix with a big presence and an even bigger personality. Loyal and protective by nature, he’s looking for an experienced adopter who understands his breed and can provide the structure and leadership he needs to thrive. Rocky forms strong bonds with his people and will be a devoted companion in the right home. However, he does have some guarding tendencies around high-value items like bones, so a home without small children is a must. He would do best as the only pet, as he prefers not to share his space with other animals—especially cats. Like many strong, intelligent dogs, Rocky can get a bit destructive when bored or under-stimulated. With proper exercise, enrichment, and guidance, he has the potential to channel his energy in positive ways. Continued training will be very beneficial for him, helping build trust, reinforce boundaries, and bring out his best qualities. Rocky is ready to find his forever home with someone who sees his potential and is committed to helping him succeed. In the right hands, he’ll be a loyal, protective, and loving companion for years to come. Please apply for Rocky at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50

Story
JT Realmuto's Story Meet JT Realmuto, a 4-year-old German Shepherd with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome boy came to the shelter as a stray, and while we don’t know much about his past, we can already tell he’s ready for a brighter future. JT is, simply put, a very good boy. He’s loyal, alert, and loves being around his people. He would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention, as he prefers to be the only dog in the household. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will bond closely with you, JT might be your perfect match. Like many dogs adjusting to a new environment, JT is still working on a few basics. He’ll need some guidance with housebreaking and would benefit from consistent training to polish his manners. On walks, JT is strong and enthusiastic, so he’ll need an adopter who can help him learn better leash skills and keep up with his energy. With patience, structure, and plenty of love, JT has all the potential to become an incredible companion. If you’re ready to invest in a smart, spirited dog who will reward you with unwavering loyalty, we are now accepting applications for JT Realmuto. Please apply for JT at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50

Story
Carissima 's Story Carissima is a 4-year-old English Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She came to the shelter as a stray, but she’s clearly ready to leave that chapter behind and start a new life with a loving family. This sweet girl enjoys her walks, though she can be quite strong on the leash and tends to pull. With some consistent training and guidance, she has great potential to become a wonderful walking companion. Carissima would thrive with an adopter who’s willing to help her build those skills. Carissima can be a bit protective of high-value items like bones, so she’s looking for a home without children under 10 years old who can respect her boundaries. The good news is that she has done well when tested with other dogs and even cats, showing she could fit into a multi-pet household with proper introductions. If you’re looking for a loyal, charming companion and are ready to help her continue learning and growing, Carissima may just be the perfect match. She’s ready to meet her forever family. Please apply for Carissima at https://www.gloucestercountynj.gov/FormCenter/Animal-Shelter-5/PreAdoption-Application-50
