Story
It is with the heaviest of hearts that I write this. We have had our dog franklin for almost 6 years and now it turns out my son has severe class 5 allergy to dog dander, meaning being around franklin too much could send Luca into anaphylactic shock. We love Franklin with all of our hearts and are very upset but rehoming is the only option we have at this point for our son's safety. Franklin is a German Shepherd mix and very large. 95lbs! He is a very active dog who loves long walks and cuddling. Franklin does great with kids but can not be with other dogs! Please please share this for me and help me find him a good home! He is a good boy!

Story
I have 2 eskimo/Shephard young dogs. Koda (male) Juneau (female) brother and sister. Due to unexpected health issues I cannot give them the care they need. I need to place them ASAP as my health is deteriorating rapidly. Both are energetic, friendly and good with dogs. They are not good with cats or birds etc. I have not had children around them so that is unknown but they are 10 months old with energy. They have some training that I could accomplish. They come and sit and know their names. They are crate trained also. Please help me place them as I don't know how much longer I have until my motor skills diminish further and I need to know they are in a good place and loved

Story
Jax is a sweet dog who would love to be your best friend. He would benefit from someone who can give him much needed attention as he suffers from high anxiety and does not like to be alone. He does not do well with other dogs. and has never been around cats. Due to changing family circumstances, Jax is in need of a forever home that will work with him to adjust. He's very loving and affectionate. Please contact Outreach@sjras.org to help Jax.

Story
Stella is currently at a foster home with other cats and dogs and this is what her foster family had to say about her…Stella came to shelter back in Oct 2022, she was emaciated & her ears were stricken with fly bites. She spent several months in the shelter where she made a few friends. She came home with us to foster to help alleviate some of her stress & get to know her better. Here’s what we found out:Stella has a zest for life & loves to be around people. She’s friendly, sweet, comical, & loving. She will keep you laughing all day with her antics & silliness. She loves to take walks & loves hikes. We think she would be great for an active family &/or runner. She has an amazing personality, she’s intelligent, & strong willed. There aren’t many negatives to Stella to list that can’t be solved by a nice long walk, a long lasting chew bone, & her fave people. She’s highly food motivated which makes training a breeze. She loves to be the center of attention & her silly antics make it easy to fall in love with her. Stella has been in foster for over a year & is ready to be the center of someone else’s world. Stella has a great energy & is looking for someone that will enjoy going on a daily walk or a hike with her. Shes crate trained & has lived with cats & other dogs. She walks well on a leash with the use of a training collar & over the year has gotten so much better without it(still recommend loves to chew & as long as she has plenty of toys, your stuff is safe😉 Stella is awesome, she’s full of love & life & the only thing missing is a her happily ever after. Stella’s adoption includes spaying, microchipping and up to date shots.Stella is currently in a foster home, not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting her, please complete an adoption questionnaire. Once your questionnaire is processed, the foster home will be in touch with you to discuss Stella's personality as well as setting up a chance to meet her in person. For more information about this animal or our adoption process please visit our website at SouthJerseyRegionalAnimalShelter.org
