Story
Looking for her retirement home!! Meet Chickie, an older gal that was found as a stray and taken into the local SPCA. She wasn’t happy about her new atmosphere and the SPCA reached out and asked if we would take her. It took a little bit for her true self to show and to realize what type of home she needed, and in her forever Chickie needs to be the only pet since she’s way too grouchy with others and over protective of her things and foster mom. Chickie is in a small room when home alone and uses the PP pad. While in the car she generally naps. She enjoys her baths, grooming can be difficult sometimes, it’s best to trim a little each week as opposed to a lengthly grooming session. She does have a lot of energy for an older dog, we are guessing she’s 10-12 years old. Her teeth were cleaned Jan 2023, she is spayed and UTD on vaccines. We at All Our Love are searching for her forever home where she will be fused about and treated like a queen. We prefer applicants be within 1 hour drive of Claymont 19703 area. Please email or call the rescue for an application. AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com (302)272-5655

Story
Meet Jarvis. Jarvis was adopted in 2015 to a family that said they could & would give him a forever home. Things changed, and they could no longer take care of Jarvis so poor Jarvis ended back into rescue. Even though he seems to be having a blast, we need to find him a home that will provide him a loving forever home. Jarvis is about 16 pounds which is small to most people but he’s in a foster home with mostly chihuahuas not weighing more than 10 pounds. His foster mom describes him as a big dog in a small dogs body. Jarvis is a good boy that has lots of energy so it’s important to know he will need walks, running and playing with another dog or fetch with his human. Jarvis has met many dogs in foster care and has done super well. Jarvis does not do well meeting new people and is very protective of his home so we are looking for an adopter that can handle this and work with Jarvis so he learns he doesn’t need to be the protector, his human will protect him instead. Jarvis is updated on vaccines, was neutered & chipped too. If you think you got what it takes please email AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com and request an application. His cuteness is a bonus!

Story
Applicants need to be within 1 hour drive from Claymont, DE 19703. Noah was surrendered to AOL Animal Rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. Noah is 7 years old and they had him since he was a puppy. Noah was so shy, scared and quiet his first week or so in his foster home. Noah is no longer any of those, especially quiet. This guy has a lot to say, and if you tell him you don’t want to hear it, he totally ignores you. Noah was previously an only dog so it took him time to adjust to the others. Noah could live with another dog, depending on the other dog’s personality. He has’t yet played with anyone yet. He did get the zoomies when it was just him and foster mom in the back yard so he is happy when it’s all about him. Noah is now crate trained, although he doesn’t appreciate being crated unless he has had the opportunity to use up some of his energy, which he has a lot of! Noah could live with a cat that will stand up for itself and not run away. Noah will chase them if they run. We will be taking Noah out more not that him and foster mom know each other and he is recovered from his neuter. His last ride in the car he reverted back to being very nervous, so he may not ever be too comfy in car rides, but he may get better. As scared as he was in the beginning, he never showed any aggression. Stay tuned for more info but if you like so far what you read and would like to meet Noah, email or call us and we will send out an application. His videos will be on our YouTube page later today too. AOLanimalrescue@gmail.com (302)272-5655

Story
Wolfina is being fostered in TX, UPDATE: Wolfina is very anxious when transported long distances; thus, short transports of less than 4 hours are advised. Please email adoption@blinddogrescue.org for more information or if you have any questions. Thank you. Wolfina is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She is a little shy at first meeting, especially with men, but warms up quickly. She really enjoys exploring the fenced-in backyard with her fur-siblings. She also likes taking walks with her foster mom around the neighborhood. Although she was not leash-trained when she came to live with her foster mom, she picked up on it quickly and gets excited to go on her walks when her leash is picked up. She doesn't seem to have much interest in toys, but really likes laying in her doggy bed, especially when it has a blanket or two to snuggle in. BDRA had voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Jessie is being fostered in FL Jessie is doing great! He continues to be very sweet and gentle, and whenever his foster mom walks him, the neighborhood children love to come over and pet him. And if he hears people talking, he'll come over to say hello! Jessie also thinks he's part cat! His foster mom says he makes a noise like he's purring when she pets him. :) Please fill out an adoption application if you are interested in Jessie. Story
Sushi is being fostered in CT. Sushi loves to cuddle and would love to have her own person and family; however she would do best as an only dog so she can get all the love to herself. She travels great in the car and will either sit on your lap for a short trip or in the backseat with a doggy car seat. She is housetrained and will go to the door to let you know she has to go potty. She eats like a champ and takes her insulin well. She also does great at the vet and loves her vet clinic friends. She sleeps through the night and is very easy going. Sushi is not interested in toys but loves to chew on vet approved bones. She loves to sleep on the couch with a comfy blanket, and she uses dog steps to get on. She can safely jump down as long as the floor is not slippery. I have a dog stroller for Sushi and she happily will sit in it and go for a ride or sleep in it when I am sitting at the computer. She enjoys going for short walks and gets excited when you put her leash on! She also does a very funny trot out in the backyard. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.
