Story
I found sweet Ollie a few weeks ago and have been trying to find him a home. He is a very good dog probably around 1-2 years old. He does well with my smaller dog but I’m not sure about all dogs. He isn’t bothered by toddlers. I wish I was able to keep him but I don’t have the time or space that he deserves. He’s pretty low maintenance and will let you know when he needs something. He’s a very fast learner and loves to cuddle!! If you’re looking for a good, protective, loving best friend, this is your dog! Please help me give this sweet boy a good home.

Story
Dani is believed to be a female boxer mix (or other breed mix) around 1.5 years of age. She is very sweet and affectionate, loves people and attention, loves to play with chewable toys, and loves bouncing around in the back yard (even in the heat) chasing imaginary creatures! She is a strong girl weighing around 50 pounds. She needs somebody that is patient and can handle her strength and youthful energy. Fate intervened to rescue her from a life as an unwanted street dog. She was recently rescued as a stray dog by Garland Animal Services from a Motel 6 on Interstate 30 in Garland. And then adopted by my wife and I on July 6, 2024. However, she and our other dog were aggressive toward each other and have to be separated and kept in separate crates. So she needs a new forever home. I would recommend her being an only dog in a home without small children. She would make a great buddy for either an adult family or a single adult. She is already spayed, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated.

Story
Rickon is a great dog but would be best with someone who is possibly work from home, stay at home or retired. My husband and I got him when I was in college and have always been around with him mostly during the day. Since then I've had 2 children and recently I've had to start working outside the home. He was home alone long hours during the day and started misbehaving so we started to kennel him during the day. This just isn't a great life anymore for Rickon and we are hoping we can find someone who has more time to spend with him. Rickon has been through a training program although we didn't hold up the training on our end. He is smart though and has retained small commands like Kennel up! or Sit. He is the most lovable dog always wanting to snuggle and be as close to you as possible. He likes to play tug of war with humans or other dogs. He likes to swim and be active and will even run alongside a jogger.

Story
Sammee is the most handsome dog you'll ever meet. He’s so sweet and loving to his people! When meeting new people, he is timid. He doesn’t like to meet them on a leash (we think he had some past traumas). When we have him meet people in our home, we usually put Sammee in his kennel, let everyone come in and get settled, and then bring him out. He does great that way! He will be your best friend, try and sit in your lap, and get all the attention! We groom him ourselves so we don’t know how he does at a groomers. When we leave the house, he is used to being out with doggie door access. He doesn’t love staying in his kennel for long periods of times, but he is pretty chill. Just beware of any food left out… he will get into it! We are looking for a new home for him because we don’t have the finances to keep up with his food and care and are just very busy in this season of life. We are hoping we can find someone looking for a loving, cuddly, teddy bear to love him how he deserves!

You’ll never meet a dog who loves you more than Sarah does! All she wants is attention from her humans! She is very easy going. A couch potato all day long! She get spurts of energy to play and LOVES when people come to the house, but for the most part, she just sleeps the day away.
