Story
Sage is a sweetheart and cuddle bug. Sage grew up on a farm in Hallsville, Texas for her first 2 years. She then moved to Lake Caddo in Karnack, Texas and lived on the water. She roamed free all day playing in the lake. She grew up with a Chihuahua and is NOT A SINGLE DOG. She must have a playmate, which she has currently, Huckleberry, also up for adoption. Sage was adopted by me and my wife during COVID. Her owners were getting old and could not keep up with her high energy needs. We adopted her and moved her to Rowlett to live with us and our other dog. Sage went on walks everyday, sometimes twice a day. I work 12 hour days so she is cooped up in the house all day with her brother who is crate trained. I can't do that to her. She loves people, loves kids, and wants to be around them. She is a talker so when you get home she is going to greet you and talk to you for a minute or two while you pet her. Sage is not an alpha.

Story
My sister and brother-in-law had her for about 5 years. They needed to rehome her so I took her. I've had her for about 1.5 yrs. I Now I would like to rehome her bc I don't know how to control her. She is really a loving dog most of the time and wants to be the center of attention. However, I believe she has some anxiety and doesn't know how to relate. She wants to be petted a lot but will snap at people in the middle of them petting her. She is very jumpy and gets surprised by a blade of grass moving in the yard. I want to go visit family but don't want to take her and don't have the financial means to board her. I believe she would do very well with an older couple or single person with little activity going on.

Story
Sunny is a sweet, 4-year-old female dog with a gentle heart and a loyal spirit. She was adopted from a local shelter at age 3 and has been a beloved part of our family ever since. She is fully house-trained, affectionate, and enjoys being around people. Due to a recent change in our family circumstances we are sadly no longer able to give Sunny the care and attention she deserves. We are looking for a loving home where she can continue to thrive and bring joy to those around her. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will fill your home with love, Sunny could be the perfect fit.
