Why you’ll love Zeus: Adorable brown eyes, gentle disposition Great snuggler for cozy nights and chair companion for movie watching. Loves walks and car rides. Great with his foster family ( humans and canines) Help make this Valentine’s Day extra special for Zeus by opening your heart and home. Ready to meet your new best friend? Contact me! This senior boy is a bundle of love! I am in love with those beautiful big brown eyes and his gentle disposition. He is the sweetest! He has done well acclimating to his foster family. He likes to be with his humans and has easily made friends with our dogs. He is usually curled up on his doggie bed next to humans, but when they move, he follows! He is interested in everything they are doing. His foster dad works from home, so he gets let outside often. When he goes outside, he does his business. He has been wearing a belly band overnight as a precaution. He saw the vet today and did AMAZING! He was so relaxed on the car ride and at the clinic. Vet said his heart and lungs are great, and has good mobility. He does have hearing loss and partial vision loss, but overall, the vet said he looked good. We are waiting for his lab results and have scheduled his dental for next week. A perfect home for Zeus would be with humans who are home most of the day who would love a bundle of love to keep them company. He is calm, rarely barks and gently whimpers to let you know when he needs something. If you are looking for the perfect lap dog with gorgeous eyes then Zeus might be perfect for you.

Story
My name is Coco and wow, am I a sweet girl. Just after I was rescued, we found out I was going to have puppies. My puppies are now finding homes of their own and it's time for me to as well. I'm very shy and timid at first, but will come around on my own time table. I have spent time in three different foster homes to help me overcome my shyness. I seem to be housetrained and crate trained. I love to observe things from a distance when I go to a new place, but will settle in well with a steady routine. You will notice me peeking around the corner at you from time to time and when I'm ready, I will take treats from you and approach gently for some ear scratches and petting. My foster families agree that I really do want your attention and approval, but it just takes me a little longer than most dogs to accept it. When you least expect it, I will grab toys and shake them and play. They all say that it is the cutest thing. I also get along with all other dogs I have met, so I am nicely social in that respect. Finally, small children will probably be overwhelming for me, so I will need a home with adults and older children. Because it might take me a little longer to adjust, my fosters are going to be very selective on where I go because they care for me so much. The perfect person for me is someone who will be patient and loving, and who will also not have high expectations for an immediate bond. That will come in time, I promise. You won't regret investing your time in me.

Story
I am Ruby Sue, and I'm as sweet as my name implies (most call me Ruby). I am soft and cuddly, and my eyes will make you melt. I am partially potty trained which means I know I'm supposed to go outside, but I don't always make it. So far, dog doors are not my favorite, but I'm working on it. I am leash ready and love walks and haven't been in the pool yet because I'm a winter puppy. I love playing with other dogs and kids and the more the merrier, but I'd be just as content with you just hanging out on the couch. I am kennel trained but might make a little noise if you leave me too long or over-night. I learn fast and listen well, and I'm a bit shy on first impression. Of course, treats make me less shy!! Please adopt me if you like all of these things. I have lots of puppy snuggle time left for my new family!! Email info@habitat4paws.org for an application. **Because we require home visits, we only adopt locally to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on adoption policies, please see the How it Works page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.**

Story
**COURTESY LISTING**CONTACT HALLIE770@GMAIL.COM **813-466-9449 Stella is approximately 8 months old. Has all shots, and spayed & microchipped. About 45-50 lbs. She is probably best as the only dog in the home. She is not aggressive to ALL dogs but she is toward my one dog. My other dog she is fine with. She loves to cuddle, loves to play fetch & will bring the ball back to you as for long as you will throw it. I got her she was about 10 - 12 weeks old. Someone had found her tied to a tree. From the start she has shown some skiddish-ness - if you come at her too fast she will cower. I don’t know how she was treated at the beginning of her life but I just don’t think it was well. She is crate trained (during the day)- she was sleeping in my bed so if she is in the crate at night she cries and barks. She is house trained - won’t potty in the crate or in the house through the night. When she goes out she wants to play and will sometimes forget to potty. If she does go in the house she will go to the puppy pad. I love her so much. I am so, so sad to do this. I feel absolutely awful to give up on her. The fact that she is so aggressive toward my 10 year old lab is just not something I can fix. I have tried. I have done what I can. I am in fear of another fight, I feel like my life & well being is being affected as well as my old dogs well-being.

Story
Besides being the comedic relief in my foster home, I am the sweetest pup ever - so much so that the shelter named me Loverboy. My foster family also calls me Little Buddy because that's what I am to everyone I meet, human and canine alike. I was so thin when rescued and have now gained 11 pounds! I'm a great medium size and love playing with other dogs of all sizes in my foster home. I'm quite silly and "talk" to you when we are playing. I sleep quietly in my crate at night and make a great office assistant during the day if you work from home. I have learned the doggie door and really have fun outside in the yard. My foster parents say I'm smart and catch on quickly to routines and training. They also say that whoever adopts me is going to be a very lucky family. These sweet brown eyes are going to be on the lookout for you!

Story
Kato is a sweet, active full-bred puppy. He loves to be outside and will jump into any body of water. He is great with other dogs and small children. We are looking for a new home for Kato that can give him love, attention and activity. Kato is fixed, potty trained and kennel trained. Kato has attended a two-week dog training. While Kato has become a fixed member of our family and we will be very sad to see him go, we are unable to give him the time and attention he deserves. We know there is a loving home that can give Kato all the love and time outdoors he deserves!
