Meet Kash 🐾 Kash is the sweetest, most lovable big baby you’ll ever meet. He has a friendly, gentle personality and truly thinks he’s a small lap dog — don’t be surprised if he tries to climb right into your arms for cuddles! He absolutely loves attention and will happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Kash is very playful and enjoys his toys and time outside, but his favorite thing is being close to his people. Even though he might look a little intimidating at first, he is incredibly sweet and just wants to love and be loved.A few things to know about Kash: He does best with tougher toys since he can easily tear up smaller ones. He sheds a little, but it’s very manageable. And while he believes he’s a lap dog, he is a big boy — so he’ll need a home that has space for him to stretch out and be comfortable. Kash would do best in a home that can give him lots of love, attention, and room to be his happy, playful self.

Story

Baine is a loving, playful boy born March 5, 2019. My husband and I adopted him when he was 5 months old after my husband experienced a serious health event that left him unable to work. Baine became his constant companion and best buddy while I was away during the day. Sadly, my husband recently passed away, and I can tell Baine misses him deeply. Due to finances, I’ve had to move in with my mom, who has health concerns and three cats. This means Baine now spends far too much time in his kennel or outside, and he deserves so much more. Baine is cuddly, playful, well behaved, and wonderful with people and kids. He loves walks, toys, treats, attention, and shaking hands! He especially loves companionship and would thrive with someone who has plenty of time and love to give him. This is an incredibly difficult decision. Baine is deeply loved, and I simply want to find him a home where he can be happy, loved, and someone’s best buddy again. ❤️

Story

Hickory has been in the rescue for 2 yrs now. He and his siblings were rescued when they were just 10 wks old, found dumped in a neighborhoodvand starving. . Hickory is the most outgoing of them. A DNA test was done on his sibling and it came back 16 different breeds. He's a true super mutt. He will require a 6ft privacy fence as he can jump a 4 ft chainlink fence and climb a 6 ft + chainlink. He is crate trained and house broken on a schedule. He does play with other dogs in his foster home, but will need proper introduction to new dogs. He has not been cat tested. His adoption fee is $200. Approved application, meet and greet and home visit required prior to placement. His brother is Wally and they are currently being fostered together. We also have a video of him playing with a goat.

Story

Verna is a sweet dog but very active. She is well behaved inside but prefers the outdoors. Back story: My husband and I are in our 70's. We had to say goodbye to our precious cheweenie early last summer. For the last 8 yrs our Gracie was paralyzed in her back legs so things had slowed down a lot around our home. When we were ready to find another member of our family we came across Verna. The couple that had her lived in an apartment and were looking for a home with more room for her. Verna is a very sweet and loving dog but we realize she needs a family with kids and room to run and play and guard. Yes she is a great watch dog. She is always on alert for any sounds out of the norm. She alerts to strangers whether at the door or around the fence. Make no mistake, Verna loves people you invite in. I have not had any experience with her where she has not, except to alert to people outside our perimeter. I believe Verna would be happiest in a country setting, run, play, & protect.
