Addison, TX
Size

Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
This handsome boy’s right legs were partially amputated when he was just a pup by someone who’s clearly on the bullet-train to hell. Technically, Charisma is special needs, but don’t tell him that! He’s active & gets around well – he can even jump into the car! He’s been dearly loved by his adoptive family for many years, but sadly, must now be rehomed. He’s healthy, crate-trained, & would do best with a small dog to keep him company. Although he prefers women to men, he has lived with a man & was devoted to him. C’mon – everyone could use a little Charisma! How about you?

Needs experienced adopter,
Story
Poppy is a 2 year old full bred American Rottweiler (un-neutered). He is a big ball of young energy. He has experienced minimal amount of trauma as he was a rescue when I decided to care for him as long as I could. I am looking to rehome him or a foster until I can accomodate his needs. He needs a home that is spacious with a big back yard because he LOVES to play. I am in transition of moving and unfortunatley my journey with Poppy must come to an end. He still needs training on leash pulling, barking at passerbys, leaning ( he's a BIG HUGGER) . Other than that he knows commands sit, wait, paw, hug/kisses, eat, water, let's go, lay (working on it lol) . He needs to go outside at least 2-3 times a day for walks . As far as socialization I prefer he get more training with kids, and other animals as he is territorial for sure. Rehoming fee is negotiable of course and in consideration of ability to reproduce. Medical Records, Cage, Eating/Drinking bowls, toy, provided.

Story
Meet Winter, a majestic 3-year-old male Great Dane with a heart as big as his stature, currently seeking a loving home in Austin, TX. Winter's love for life is matched only by his affection for his favorite humans. This gentle giant has a love for stuff-less toys that challenge his intellect without succumbing to destruction. Winter's playfulness knows no bounds, especially when it comes to fetch – a game he adores. But when the day winds down, Winter transforms into a snuggle enthusiast, finding joy in sharing the bed with his cherished companions. Impressively trained, Winter responds to a repertoire of commands, including Sit, Stay, Shake, Come, Off, Leave it, Crate, and Place. However, it's essential to note that Winter has displayed resource-guarding behavior since a young age, prompting caution around small children. Winter would be better suited in the company of older children. He exhibits contentment when left alone in his kennel for short periods, displaying a deep attachment to his safe space. This loving giant, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations, is compatible with other dogs, making him an ideal addition to a home with furry companions. However, prospective adopters should have a fenced-in yard to accommodate Winter's need for exercise and exploration. Understanding the financial commitment of caring for a large breed like Winter is crucial. He requires an environment where his need for love and attention is met. While Winter has some anxieties, particularly around energetic small children and during car rides, his lovable nature and charm make him a wonderful companion for the right family. If you're ready to provide Winter with the caring home he deserves, be prepared for a journey that involves lots of love, occasional challenges, and countless heartwarming moments. Winter is currently in Austin, TX, ready to travel to his next loving home, where he can thrive and bring joy to those who welcome him into their hearts. Email us directly at adopt@joyfulpets.com for more information on Winter.

Story
Meet Kolanut (Kola) the 1.5 year old Black and Tan Hound! Kola is currently in Independence Missouri but will travel for love. Kola is a smart, eager-to-please people-loving dog and would be the perfect companion for you. Kola loves to run and play and would be happy to become your new running buddy. She is actively learning new skills and tricks to help with day-to-day life, and she sits very patiently waiting for her food. Kola would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as she finds that her goodies are worth the world and she does not like to share. She also has a higher prey drive and would not be well suited for a home with small dogs or cats. Kolanut however would love to play with you! Her favorite toys are soft plush toys and she also enjoys bone chews. If you're ready to meet a sweet girl who will cuddle with you all night, reach out to meet Kola today!
