I found sweet Ollie a few weeks ago and have been trying to find him a home. He is a very good dog probably around 1-2 years old. He does well with my smaller dog but I’m not sure about all dogs. He isn’t bothered by toddlers. I wish I was able to keep him but I don’t have the time or space that he deserves. He’s pretty low maintenance and will let you know when he needs something. He’s a very fast learner and loves to cuddle!! If you’re looking for a good, protective, loving best friend, this is your dog! Please help me give this sweet boy a good home.

Story

Ben was born in a high kill shelter on 2/3/2021. He was a day old when we brought him home along with his 10 siblings and his mother. All that remains is Ben and his mom Lily. They have been waiting patiently. But now it is thThis is Ben and he has been with Chloe’s Pet Rescue since he was a newborn. He is now going on three years old. We aren’t sure why he hasn’t found his “furever” home. He’s such a handsome guy. We believe he is an Akita/American Pit Bull mix. Ben is very friendly when meeting new people (after a few sniffs and he’s good to go) and is good with other dogs. In fact, if it looks like another dog wants to get into a tiff, he walks away. Ben is energetic and loves to go outdoors. He’s great walking on a leash, knows come here, stop, breakfast and dinner and is crate and house trained. One of his favorite things to play with is a ball. Something he does not like is rain and thunder. Don’t go out and buy a new bed for this guy because he will chew it up, just throw a blanket down and he is very content. Ben’s adoption fee is $25, which includes his full vetting.

Meet Joseph, a survivor from a South Texas kill shelter along with his Mom and siblings. Joseph, having conquered parvo, is eager to find his 'furever' home. This handsome boy enjoys playing with siblings, other puppies, and toys. Commands he knows: sit, stay, come, off, gentle, kennel and wait(for food). Initially a bit shy with humans, he quickly warms up. Joseph is also the survivor of a deadly fire. He even jumped into the ambulance to be with his foster mom, but of course they kicked him out. He has truly come a long way and is a fabulous dog because of it all. Again, he just has to warm up to you. Once he knows you everything is fine from then on out. Canaan is a Heeler/pyranees mix (dob: 10/16/21). Not a big dog at only 50 lbs Original owner rehomed to a family friend at around two months old. New owners did not complete his vetting so we had it done. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is now microchipped and his heartworm test was negative. He is good with other dogs, cats, kids, teenagers and adults. He has to learn to trust at first. Housebroken, crate trained. Great temperament. Very loving and playful dog. He would be a great walking Buddy or jogging partner. Commands he knows: sit, wait, leave it, back (when you want him to back up out of a space), out, crate, bed, place, quiet, outside, potty, get a toy, come, walks well on a leash, get in the car. He’s super easy to train, very willing to please and loves treats. Sweet and smart, ready to join your family. He holds stuffed toys in his mouth for comfort and doesn’t destroy them.
