Story
Agave is a loving husky mix that came to us after her family had too many animals and had to give some away. She is a medium energy dog, perfect for a home that is both active and relaxed. She loves playing with other dogs at the shelter, and loves when the children volunteers come play with her. We think she is 1-2 years old.

Story
Lambo & Rocky are shy but very sweet German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees mixes. Lambo is the more shy of the two, but it doesn't take him long to warm up if he trusts you. They are very loving once they get to know you, and think they are tiny lap dogs. They are already 55lbs (25kg) at 8-months-old, so we expect them to be about 85lbs (38.5kg) full-grown. Lambo and Rocky were born outside and lived outside only before coming here, so they are still learning about potty-training, how to behave in the house, and that they are safe now. They still get spooked easily, but with the right home, they will become great dogs. Adopting them separately will be the best thing for them, so they don't become anxious and overly-reliant on each other.

Story
Myna is a 10-month-old teenage girl who arrived to the shelter as a stray dog, caught by a resident. She is microchipped, but her owner ignored us. Now, she is available to adopt by a family who will hopefully keep her forever! For a 10-month-old, she is expectionally well-behaved for her age. Maybe because she is a black Labrador + Cattle Dog mix. We think she is already potty-trained, and she is very friendly and loves humans of all ages. Come meet this sweet, happy girl!

Story
Meet Bailey, our 10-year-old senior girl. Bailey was owned by a resident of Farmers Branch, but after we caught her after she got out of the yard, they didn't want to reclaim her. Now, she is here ready to be adopted into a home that will let her retire and be an old lady and their house instead of spending the rest of her years in a loud, busy animal shelter. Bailey is very friendly and social, she'd love to meet you!

Sit, stay, roll-over, shake, and heel are all commands she responds to instantly and perfectly. It's not every day you see a well-trained shelter dog.
