Story
Meet Rolo! Rolo is an approximately 1 year old Labrador Retriever and Shepherd mix weighing around 60 pounds who is ready to find his forever home. He was found as a stray off King Road in Heath on 07/02/26 and, unfortunately, no one came forward to reclaim him. Now, he is looking for a family to give him the fresh start he deserves. Rolo is a friendly, happy young dog with a constantly wagging tail and an eagerness to make new friends. He has done well meeting other dogs and is beginning to learn how to play appropriately. While he is still figuring things out, he is very interested in interacting with other dogs and has all the enthusiasm you would expect from a young dog. He also does not seem to mind cats. Like many dogs his age, Rolo will benefit from a family that can provide structure, consistency, regular exercise, and continued training. He is intelligent, eager to learn, and ready to become a wonderful companion for a family willing to invest the time in helping him reach his full potential. If you currently have another dog in the home, a meet and greet will be required prior to adoption to help ensure a good fit. Rolo's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his annual vaccinations, and heartworm negative. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks.
