Story
Meet Senior, aka Bentley, a sweet 16 year old, 13 pound Yorkie boy being fostered in Rockwall, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered. ALL COMMITTED INTERESTED PARTIES MUST COMPLETE AN APPLICATION AT WWW.UYR.US ,SO THAT WE CAN CONTACT YOU AND DISCUSS YOUR INTEREST AND THE NEEDS FOR THIS BABY.. Hi everyone. My name is Bentley. UYR gave me a new name of "Senior." I think that means I'm special or I got a promotion or something. I don't suppose it has anything to do with the fact that I was born in 2009 and I'll be 17 in May??? My foster mom thinks I'm pretty spunky for being a Senior. I weigh 11.8 pounds. I've gone to the vet twice. My vaccines are up to date. I got a microchip. I had my teeth cleaned. I had a bump taken off one of my front paws, which foster mom said was benign. I've been having to wear this blue collar thing because of that bump, but I'm looking forward to taking it off soon. My favorite activities are eating, sleeping, wandering around in the yard, and going on several short walks every day. My favorite place to sleep is in mom's dirty clothes basket. Bentley is used to being around young children, as he used to play with his previous owner's grandchildren. He is very friendly with people who come to visit. He has not been around other dogs, and he gets annoyed when we pass another dog on our walks. He is well potty trained. He is a sweet boy who is looking for his furever home.

Story
Meet Lola, our beautiful 6-year-old, full-blooded German Shepherd who is looking for a loving new home. She has such a sweet and loyal heart. She’s been part of a family environment and has done wonderfully with children, always gentle and loving. She’s also enjoyed time with her best friend, Alfie (a Great Dane mix), so she’s comfortable around other dogs. Lola is well-trained and knows sit, down, stay, and come—and she will come with her training certificate. She walks incredibly well on a leash and truly enjoys being with her people. She’s affectionate, loyal, and thrives on connection.German Shepherds are incredibly intelligent, loyal, and protective dogs. They form strong bonds with their families and do best in homes where they are included in daily life. They benefit from: Regular exercise (they are active and enjoy walks/play) Mental stimulation (they’re very smart and like to “work” or learn) Consisttent structure and leadership. Time & attention.

Story
Meet Diego! Diego is a handsome 3-year-old Pit Bull mix weighing approximately 60 pounds who is looking for a fresh start and a loving forever home. Diego is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to cuddle with the people he trusts. He can be a little cautious around some men and will benefit from slow introductions and a patient family willing to let him build confidence at his own pace. He's also still discovering how to play with toys, making it clear he may not have had many opportunities to simply be a dog. Diego is looking for a calm home where he can be the only pet and would do best with children 16 years of age or older. With time, understanding, and consistency, he'll reward his family with unwavering loyalty and companionship. His adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and heartworm negative. If you're interested in adopting Diego, please submit an online application at: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ An approved adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet or moving forward with adoption.  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Story
Meet Titus Titus is an approximately 2-year-old male Pit Bull mix weighing 62 lbs who is ready to show the world just how big his personality truly is. Found near the pickleball courts at Harry Myers Park on 03/10/26 and never reclaimed, Titus had a rough start- but you would never guess that now. When Titus first arrived, he was shy and shut down, likely from the frightening experience of being abandoned. But once he felt safe, his true personality came bursting through- and it's impossible to miss. Titus has transformed into a fun-loving, goofy, playful boy who keeps everyone around him smiling. He loves to engage, enjoys playtime, and has a lighthearted, happy spirit that makes him such a joy to be around. Titus does well with other dogs and has really come into his own socially, showing off his playful side more and more each day. A meet and greet is recommended for any home with existing pets to ensure the best fit. He's the kind of dog who will make you laugh, keep life interesting, and then happily settle in for companionship when the day winds down. His journey from shut down to shining is truly something special- and now he just needs a home to continue that story. Titus is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination and basic boosters, and is heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $125. He is currently being fostered by a foster family until adopted and does require an approved online adoption application in order for meet and greets to be scheduled as well as to be adopted. If you're looking for a dog with personality, resilience, and a whole lot of love to give, Titus may be the perfect match.
