Story
Loyal, snuggly, well‑trained companion looking for an adult‑only home.George is a 5–6 year old, deeply loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be close to his person. He’s gentle, snuggly, house‑trained, and knows all his basic commands (sit, stay, down, heel, place, leave it). He walks beautifully with his e‑collar and loves tennis balls and squeaky toys.George is protective of his home and shy with strangers, so he needs an adult‑only home with no cats and an adopter who understands large, sensitive dogs. He has a strong prey drive and some separation anxiety, but he can comfortably stay home for about 4 hours. He does not do well in a crate.George will thrive with someone who wants a devoted best friend, enjoys continuing training, and will include him as part of the family. He’s a wonderful, loving dog who bonds deeply and gives his whole heart to his person. He’s happiest just being near his person and loves a calm, steady home with a routine.

Bingo just showed up at our home in December 2023. We tried to find his home but we were unsuccessful so he stayed. He is very well behaved, sits, shakes hands, and stays most of the time lol, but he is kind of obsessed with playing ball.

Story
Our Coby is an AKC-registered Siberian Husky, born on October 8, 2020, with a coat color of brown and white. We acquired him from an AKC Husky breeder. He is a very beautiful, lovely, healthy, and gentle dog. Coby is home-trained and crate-trained. This is a nice, friendly breed. He never assaults or hurts people. He likes playing tug-of-war and tag games. We love Coby so much and have had many happy times. But unfortunately, due to the severe allergies of my children, we are so sad and heartbroken to decide to rehome our lovely Coby. We are now looking forward to finding a nice family and ideal home to adopt our Coby, with time to dedicate to him and experience with active breeds.

Prosper, TX
Size
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Details

Story
This boy should be on the big screen with his wonderfully unique markings! Young and energetic, Domino is approximately one year old, tiny at 19 lbs, neutered, vaccinated, and healthy. He is always ready to play, run, and jump. He loves to go on walks and is learning behavior cues from his gentle leader, but he still has a little work to do when he sees other dogs. Domino is a vocal dog; he sings the song of his people with growls, howls, and barks! He does not like to be left alone for too long. Maybe he has a future career on American Idol? He will be your velcro dog and snuggle with you while you sleep, watch TV, or work. He is learning how to use his off switch and is crate trained. His foster family is also working through basic commands like sit and stay, and Domino will just need continued reinforcement. Domino would thrive in a home where he would get a lot of attention, be the only dog, and would be best for older children. He does get along with other dogs well, but he would need a dog to match his puppy energy. Domino is best fed away from his furry friends. Also, Domino like to play outside and will need a solid and secure fence as any open fence would allow him to fit through. He is a Houdini; smart, agile, curious, and ready to GO!

Story
Olive - Female - 1.5 yrs old - 40 lbs Meet Olive (or Olive Oil) — a playful, affectionate pup with a heart full of love and a personality that keeps things exciting. She is 1.5 years old, healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Olive is still very much in her fun-loving, curious stage. She absolutely thrives with canine companionship and would do best in a home with another dog. Her bond with her dog sibling has helped her build confidence, and she looks to her furry friends for comfort, play, and guidance. Olive’s hobbies include playing with toys, conducting very serious bug investigations…which sometimes end in snacks. She brings a steady stream of entertainment wherever she goes and has a knack for making ordinary moments feel a lot more fun. She’s reliably house trained and crate trained, so she already has the important stuff down. Olive is currently working on commands like “sit,” and while she’s getting there, she sometimes gets a little too excited about life to remember her manners—especially on walks. Other dogs? People? Potential new best friends? Amazing!! She’ll just need some continued guidance to help channel that enthusiasm into polite greetings. The car can be a bit spooky for Olive, but she’s much braver when she has her dog sibling by her side—moral support is everything. With patience and encouragement, she’s gaining confidence more every day. Olive is looking for a home that will embrace her playful spirit, continue her training, and give her the companionship she truly needs. In return, she promises plenty of laughs, unconditional love, and possibly fewer bugs in your yard. Please apply to adopt at bcrrt.com.

Sydney

Border Collie Australian Shepherd

Female, 3 yrs 2 mos
Prosper, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sydney is a 3 year old, 30 pound, spayed, healthy, athletic, SMART, fun Mini Aussie/Border Collie mix (with a few other herding breeds thrown in). She will bring a tennis ball to you many times a day to ensure your throwing arm stays in superior shape! She will follow you everywhere, make sure you know when it’s meal time, and, though comfortable sleeping through the night in a crate, enjoys the foot of your bed even more. Sydney’s best life will be as an only dog and she brings enough fun that you don’t even need another dog to keep you laughing and enjoying her sparkle. She is best in a home with no young children or small animals (that herding instinct is strong!). A large yard, big enough for long throw tennis ball fetch, frisbee, or even some agility equipment would be perfect for her. She has no experience with a pool, but odds are she would love that, too! Treat motivated, she loves to learn (currently learning to pick up her balls and toys, and place them where indicated, with a “Tidy Up” cue). Want a trick dog or pup eager to learn how to be your best companion? She’s your girl! Apply to adopt at bcrrt.com
