These are two amazing brothers who are looking for a new home. Sadly, we have some pretty terrible human allergies that have recently presented a problem in our home. These boys are great with kids and adults! We are sad to see them go, but are ready for them to have a home where they can stay indoors. No charge and willing to deliver.

That's how I earned my nickname, Baby Hippo. A girl's gotta eat! I love other dogs, tiny humans (kids are some of my favorite people!), walks, cuddles, couch potato time, and keeping an eye out for squirrels. I'm also perfectly happy sharing my home with cats, even the ones who decide to run around. Here's something important about me: I'm still building my confidence, so having another friendly dog in my forever home is a MUST. Having a canine buddy helps me feel safe and confident as I continue learning about the world. I got Misha at Aggieland Humane Society in 2014 as a young pup and she has been faithfully by my side for the last 12 years. She is a faithful loving dog who in her old years loves to lay around and get pets, she loves to use her snout to ask for pets and gets along incredibly well with my 3 children. She is wary of other people but sweet as pie when you get to know her. She is kind and loving to those she trusts.

This beautiful girl is Lucy. She is 3 years old and everything you expect a Border Collie to be. She is highly intelligent and focused. She has a super sweet temperament and loves people. Playing tug and with her jolly ball are 2 of her favorite things to do. She loves to give kisses and be petted so much that she tries to climb in your lap. Lucy knows sit, down and stay on command. She is crate trained and rides well. She is housetrained except for some occasional submissive wetting when attaching her leash. When she came to us, she was afraid to walk on a leash. She is now doing better with it but still can be a little fearful of it at first. She is UTD on all vaccines, HW negative and on preventative, and has been spayed. Lucy will need a home where she is the only dog and without cats. She has a very strong herd drive and focus so even though she has not been tested around children more than getting pet by them while on walks, small children would probably not be a good fit for her. Lucy will be great for someone who is looking for a dog that is highly driven with lots of energy. She is no couch potato. This girl needs a job. Please apply to adopt at bcrrt.com.

Izzy may take a little time to warm up, but once you’re hers, you’re hers — her person, her safe place, her whole world. She would thrive in a quiet home with no young children and no other dogs. She’d love an older couple or empty-nest home where she can soak up attention, enjoy calm walks, play a good game of fetch, and then curl up inside with her people. She has a great off-switch and knows when it’s time to relax.
