Story
Milo is a young adult pup who truly has it all—he’s smart, loving, and ready to find his forever family! He absolutely adores kids and has a sweet, gentle personality that makes him a wonderful companion for a family home. Milo already has great manners and knows commands like “sit” and “go lay down.” He’s also doggie door trained, making daily life that much easier. On walks, Milo does well on a leash, though he can get a little excited and bark when he sees other dogs—he just gets happy to see them! The best part is, he shows no aggression and responds well to correction, even backing off appropriately when another dog sets a boundary. Milo loves to play—fetch is one of his favorite games, and he’ll happily bring the ball back every time. At home, he’s a dream companion: Sleeps through the night (and would love to share the bed!) Only chews on his toys and chew bones Gets excited to greet you but settles down quickly He’s also a polite eater, never rushing his meals and sometimes even leaving a little behind. Milo understands boundaries and will stay when asked most of the time, showing just how smart and eager he is to please. He’s the kind of dog who will continue to thrive with love and a little guidance. Why you’ll love Milo: Great with kids and other dogs Well-trained and well-mannered Playful and fun (hello, fetch!) Non-aggressive and respectful with other dogs Smart, loving, and eager to please Milo’s Ideal Home Milo would thrive in a home where he can get love, playtime, and continued guidance. He’d do great with kids and would love to have another dog to play with. Milo is ready to bring joy, companionship, and lots of tail wags into your life. Could he be your perfect match? Story
Meet Pugsley Hey There, I'm Pugsley. I'm just a guy looking for that special love connection.  Are you my perfect match? At 4 years old, I am a fawn-colored, 24-pound French Bulldog/Chihuahua mix. My foster says I am an excellent companion dog. I am crate-trained and housetrained. I walk well on a leash, but I forget my manners if I see another dog on the walk and lunge when I see one. When I arrived at the rescue, I had some injuries possibly caused by rough encounters with other dogs or wildlife. Because of this, I can sometimes be aggressive when I see other dogs. Although I have had some tough times, I can be a great companion dog. My foster says, "He is always by my side when I'm home. He sleeps on the bed with me without trouble at all." I'm ready to live my best life. It would be best if there were no children under 10 in the home, and I would be best as an only dog. Walking with me can be challenging if we encounter another dog, so a house with a backyard is ideal. I would not be a good fit for a first-time dog owner. Still, I could thrive with an experienced handler who can help me develop my behavior, manners, and reactions with other dogs as I learn to feel safe and secure. When you get to know me, and I warm up to you, I can be a wonderful dog. I would love to show you that. If you are that special person, willing to give me a chance at my forever home, I can return that with loyalty and love. Let's meet and see if we can make the best team and live our best lives together. Story
Hi, I'm Piper Jones! People tell me that my fur is a beautiful blue color. It's funny, my foster family thinks that my coat should be red because I'm a little spicy! I'm a 3 year old chihuahua/terrier mix and I originally lived in a home with 50 other dogs, so I didn't get much attention. I like attention from people and I bond strongly with those who love on me. I especially like ladies and it takes me a little longer to warm up to men. I would prefer a home without young children. I get along well with cats, and dogs that are my size or larger. I have lots of energy and love to run around the yard. I want to stay with my friend Mystic because we love to play and have more confidence when we're together.  Learn more about our adoption process below and fill out an adoption application to take the first step in giving Piper Jones the home she deserves! Story
Cinderella is a courtesy post with the Richardson Humane Society.  If you are interested in her, please fill out an application and you will be directed to her foster family. Hi, I’m Cinderella, a one-year-old German Shepherd mix with a soft beige coat, a sleek athletic build, and a personality that lights up every room I enter. I’m a certified social butterfly who adores meeting new people and making furry friends. If enthusiasm were an Olympic sport, I’d already have the gold . I’m fully house trained and proud of it. I’ll let you know when I need to go out by heading to the door, and if you’ve got a doggy door, I’m a total pro at using it on my own. Nighttime accidents? Not my style. I can hold it all night like the big girl I am. Playtime is my love language. Interactive toys and a good game of fetch make my tail go into turbo mode, but my absolute favorite thing in the world is heading to the park to socialize with other dogs. I’m playful, friendly, and gentle with other dogs and cats, and I bring the good vibes wherever I go. I’m still polishing my puppy manners. Sometimes when I get excited, I grab things with my mouth. Totally age-appropriate and something I’m actively working on. Because of that, I’d do best in a home without young children while I continue learning and growing. I’m dreaming of an active, fun-loving family who enjoys adventures, playtime, and helping a smart, eager pup become her best self. In return, I promise loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of tail wags and companionship. If you’re looking for a joyful, loving adventure buddy with a heart of gold, I might just be your Cinderella ##2606573##

Story
Morgan is a sweet 4-year-old pup who truly just wants to be by your side. Whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure, she’s happiest simply being wherever you are.   She’s a joy to take out and about - Morgan walks nicely on a leash and rides calmly in the car, making her an easy companion for errands or road trips. At home, she’s been learning her routine and has started to let her people know when she needs to go out, showing great progress with her house manners.   Morgan has a gentle, easygoing personality. She gets along well with cats and seems like she would do just fine with other dogs, too. She’s comfortable in her crate but also enjoys lounging nearby - especially in the den, where she’ll quietly settle into her bed while her foster mom works.   One of Morgan’s most endearing traits is her calm nature. She’s not a barker (at least, she hasn’t been so far), and she brings a peaceful presence to any home. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion who will happily stick by your side, Morgan could be the perfect match.   Are you ready to be her forever companion? Story
If you’re looking for a built-in best buddy who’s always up for fun, exploration, and a little silliness, I might just be your guy. I’m mostly white with a splash of ginger on my ears, and full of that joyful puppy sparkle. I was born this past July and I’m an Aussie mix like my mom. Dad is a bit of a mystery, but I like to think that just adds to my charm. I’ve got soft fur, bright dark eyes, and a happy-go-lucky outlook on life. I love being on the move, checking out new places, and meeting new friends. I’m great with kids and other dogs, and I’m very well adjusted. I’m already crate trained and housetrained too, which means I’m off to a great start as a family companion. My ideal family would be active, enjoy getting out and doing things, and have a backyard where I can stretch my legs, play, and burn off some of my energy. At the end of the day, I’m also sweet and cuddly and happy to soak up love from my people. I’m looking for a person or family who wants a true companion and plans to make me part of their whole life, for my whole life. If you’re ready for laughter, adventure, and a loyal sidekick who thinks you’re the best thing ever, I’d love to meet you.
